Chicken sizzler in mangolian sauce
Pragya G.

We tend to go back to this place again and again specially for their pho. In winters its the perfect thing to warm you up and fill your belly. This place is mostly busy during the evenings but you would not end up waiting for long. I have tried many things here, but the must recimmended is the pho- grilled chicken soup and wonton soup are the ones we usually go for. Along with some entree mostly spring rolls or rice paper rolls. The food does not take very long to reach your table and in which time you can enjoy the hot tea placed on each table. The prices are reasonable and portions are quite generous.

Not sure what the other reviewers saw that I didn't, but 2 stars are for decent food & prices, but being that I'm not local I have no need to go back. I'd rather drive to Richmond or Footscray. Service was horrid. From the moment 2 of us walked in & I was trying to advise there was 5 of us and being ignored, to having to ask for sauce without chilli FIVE times, I'm also not sure how hard it would be for any of the staff to smile perhaps even once?!? As far as Pho goes, it took way to long to be served, and my vermicelli & spring rolls were nice enough but nothing special. I also don't have a problem with poor service in quick & dirty Asian joints, but this wasn't even remotely quick. Fun Fact: they bring the dishes out on yum Cha style trollies

My kids fav place to eat :)

Pho Hung has been a family favourite for almost 15 years.. My 3 & 5 yr old daughters love the Pho soup as much as I do, I even have to buy extra grilled pork because they keep stealing mine, Hubby's favourite is the duck with plum sauce & our sons is the lemon chicken with spring rolls on the side :) Fast service & friendly atmosphere..

Love this place, always bustling, and the food comes out fast and fresh. The pho is awesome as is the crispy calamari with spicy salt.

If ur wanting something a bit different.. This is the one. The Big D burger is a standout ... The combination of infused slaw with pulled meat works! and is definitely "that" taste journey I will return for! Also tried their KFC as well.. bit salty for my liking..

When you walk into a place and think "oh yeh another burger joint" but you are pleasently surprised…read morethat the brioche is about where all commonality ends. Ok yeh, Maccas does Brioche now but do they do it with amazing cut meats or southern fried chicken? I was confused as to what to call this place as it serves up an array of Americana type dishes with interesting add ons. What you can say is Dexter pulls off a very unusual offering while still being casual enough to not feel you need a PhD to understand the menu. I ordered the Big Dexter. Pulled Pork and Beef Brisket.... wow it was yum. I usually do the half way swap with the wife so we can experience more of the menu but there was no hope for this one. This was accompanied by Shoe String Fries finished with a BBQ Rub. .... Hold up. I can't forget... I actually started with a can of Tecate and Burnt Siracha Corn. Which was a great introduction to a lazy Sunday at Dexter. Can't wait to go back! Apparently the meat donuts are in high demand

Staff were friendly offering menu's promptly and ensuring we were aware of the specials. The two of us shared a Cheese burger and Pulled Pork burger with a side of fries. The food was delicious with the serving sizes quite generous. They also serve a variety of desserts including ice cream sundae's and cakes/pastries/donuts. Great find on a mid week food adventure!

That was back in June and I've only just had the chance to check it out. Not being a fan of eggs or avocado (blasphemy in Melbourne, I know!), I rarely venture out for brunch but with an interstate visitor in town, it was time to test out this awesome sounding cafe down the road! We were lucky enough to arrive when there were a lot of free tables (NOT the case by the time we left!) and chose to sit at one of the booths. After drooling over the menu and specials offering I was left with two options and sought assistance from our waitress. Here I encountered the honesty you don't expect from an employee - she informed me that one of the options I was choosing between was actually quite a large serving and therefore if I wanted to share with my dining companion, that would be enough to satisfy the two of us. However, my friend had her heart set on her own different menu choice so I thanked the waitress for her advice and went with my other choice which was a delicious bagel. As it was, I couldn't even finish half of it and ended up taking the second half home for a late lunch / afternoon snack (and it was still so tasty the second time around). I loved the staff, I loved the food and I loved the coffee. I'll definitely be back!
