We were looking for something light to beat this Houston heat! I feel that Vietnamese food hits that spot when you're tired of salads and sandwiches. Our order was done through DoorDash and was delivered to our office. It got delivered within 30 minutes of placing the order. The portions were pretty filling and average priced. We ordered the spring rolls , vermicelli dishes, and stir fried egg noodles. The ingredients were fresh and the noodles prepared perfectly. It's not your typical pho place because they have a variety of other items on their menu. Pho Vi-Vi has multiple locations. I've also been to the South Belt location on Beamer. This place use to be the spot, but then they started serving cold broth with frozen meats on their to go orders. Gonna have to go somewhere else now! Usually as soon as I get my to go order, I always touch the broth cup to insure its temperature, and it's been lukewarm-cold to the touch about the last 5 times. So by the time I make my bowl at home, everything is cold and unenjoyable. I understand it won't be steaming hot by the time I get home, but I eat here a lot. This restaurant is definitely a local favorite. I honestly don't have anything bad to say about this place. They serve pretty authentic tasting food, have good music for those who want Vietnamese food but still want to jam American music, they have chicken nuggets for the children... and what I think deserves to be recognized during Covid still going around, they are incredibly fast when it comes to cleaning down the tables/chairs after customers have left. I was assured there was and took my order home... once I got there I realized that apparently this place thinks quarter filled small containers was "sufficient" sweet and sour for 6 ragoons and dumplings... when I called to bring this to their attention I was met with attitude and condescending remarks and pretty much told I was wrong.
