I placed an order over the phone, I was able to understand and the gentleman who took my order was very polite and wasn't rushing me. You know when you call places and they just hurry up and make you shorten your order.. well NOT HERE! I ordered a lot! For the entire familia. I ordered spicy pho, chicken pho, lumpia, 2 bahmi pork belly and omg!!! Everything was great!!! The flavor very savory and on point, just what I needed for this flu!! And the orders are big so you have left over for sure!! The spice was perfect, not overwhelming!! Ambiance is very quiet and private but I think a lot of people order to go who I would always do because this food is HOME if you know what I mean! Disappointing Service Experience I stopped by Pho House Brews & More while visiting from out of town, hoping to grab a quick meal before closing. It was early evening, about an hour before their posted closing time, and the restaurant was brightly lit but nearly empty -- surprising for such a large venue. I was greeted by a curt and abrasive server who immediately warned that they were closing soon. When I asked a simple question about the menu, she pointed to a small sign and said, "Read the sign." I explained that I hadn't seen it clearly, but she doubled down, saying that's how she treats everyone. The tone of the exchange was so dismissive that I decided to leave within five minutes. As I walked out, she smirked in my direction. I had noticed other reviews mentioning great food but poor service, and unfortunately, my experience matched that exactly. I never got to try the food because the first interaction made me feel completely unwelcome. If you value basic courtesy and good customer service, I wouldn't recommend visiting until management addresses the hospitality side of the experience. read more

The food was hot, correct, and as anticipated. There was one thing, I called the restaurant because I had a specific request and the young lady wasn't so...well, the call seemed "rushed". They were probably pretty busy...I understood. The food was so good that I decided to order the exact same thing the following week, lol. Yep, I called again and spoke with the same young lady and guess what? She KNEW who I was and she was exactly what I wanted!!! Wow...Brilliant, I thought! Everything went so well, I decided I must go there in person! Well, I had a doctor's appointment late this afternoon and hadn't eaten. I decided it would be a good day for, yep you guessed it...pho. I think I was expecting a GRAND welcome but that was not the case, lol. No warm or inviting, "welcome to" or "good evening" and no smile from the older gentleman or the young lady. However, the tall young man seemed nice gave me a kind smile. If you haven't been to Pho House Brews & More, give them a try, their food is very good. The brisket pho was good flavor with some added chili oil. I eat pho on a regular basis and I would put this in the middle of the road pho, not bad by any stretch but not knock your socks off. The service staff was friendly, it seemed to be a pretty laid back atmosphere. When I looked this place up I saw that they had brews, but when I asked for a list of beers they told me they don't serve beer anymore. I was a little disappointed expecting a good beer and they don't even serve beer anymore. If you're looking for a quick bite here is the place for you. read more

We stumbled across this pho restaurant on the way to San Antonio. My husband ordered veggie/tofu vermicelli, son ordered beef pho and I ordered tofu pho and lychee tea. When she said "would you like veggie tofu?" I thought she was talking about veggies and tofu but it was actually "veggie tofu". It was pretty good! Lychee tea was so good, we ordered seconds. Second chance are worth it. This is the second location in the area and they are doing great in customer service. The location seems sketchy but the interior of the space is well put together and clean. This location is serving a selection of brews if it peaks your interest. This self seat restaurant is so bright and beautiful on the inside. We sat down and was greeted by a friendly older gentleman. We ordered egg rolls, spring rolls, wings, birria tacos and the combination pho. Everything came out super fast, piping hot and fresh! The tacos were unexpectedly delicious, the tortillas were crisp but soft and the meat was tender! The Pho broth had this very nice flavor that really didn't need any enhancements. The I had a relaxing day just a chill Pho here was remarkable! If you live here and have never eaten at this 5 star restaurant, you are missing out. The restaurant is very clean and tables separated with hand sanitizer all over for everyone's Covid safety. Spring rolls are out of this world with great tasting peanut sauce. They have multiple dishes along with drinks, smoothies and yes even alcohol. I was completely shocked when I walked in seeing that it is a very nice place with great food.
