we went to Phoenicia for lunch and even though we were the only people in the entire restaurant, the service and attention to detail was horrible; however, the food was plentiful and tasted good We came in and seated ourselves as there was no one to seat us; even when the waitress came she didn't acknowledge us or say "i'll be with you in one minute"; nothing! We finally got her attention and finally ordered our food After a long time the food was finally served - we got the appetizer sampler with hummus, baba, tabbouleh, and falafel; we also got the gyro plate which came with two sides - we choose salad and baba. overall, the portion size was good and the flavor was also good as well. overall a tasty meal with poor service

Wow!! Wow!! You ever know you walk into a restaurant and you just know the food is going to be amazing? Well this place is it! Every item we had on the menu was top notch. The hummus was amazing and the falafels were perfect! My gyro was on point and the salad my wife had was great too. I told my wife that this is our spot to get take out or dine in for Greek and Lebanese. Can't tell you enough of how great the place is Plus!!! The tea! You ask for tea expecting bland ice too, but oh no bud, you are getting Lebanese tea that will knock your socks off. You have to try this place!

I'll be dining out again when restaurants learn reading 101. I should have left the moment I saw the waiter literally picking into a customer's falafel. She stopped when she saw me looking at her with complete shock on my face. I'm all for making sure a plate is presentable before going to the customer's table, but that should have been done in the kitchen. Now here comes my food. And y'all know, everything had tomatoes on it. After the note clearly states "no tomatoes." Then she says oh I'll take them out. Hmmm, NO, MA'AM, you won't. You will not be digging into my plate like you just did the previous guess food. PLEASE THROW THAT ONE AWAY AND MAKE A NEW SALAD W/O TOMATOES. I will not recommend this place at all. I see why only 2 tables only had people sitting at them during busy lunch hour.

This restaurant is 100% halal. This is great for anyone with dietary restrictions. The must try food items are definitely the Falafel for appetizer, and the Combination Shawarma for the meal. The portions are pretty large but most of all, the meat here is seasoned. Many places just grill meat and then give you condiments to spice it up. The meat here is always cooked well and you can taste the freshness and that it was seasoned and prepared prior to cooking. They have ample parking outside and are great for hosting events and parties. Their prices are fair, and they always do a great job. They have a ton of seating inside, so finding a table won't be an issue. There's also TVs inside so you can watch any games/events while eating here. Overall, I always have a great experience here, the owner is very nice, and the food is delicious. Check it out.

Order taken quickly at the counter: gyro wrap w/side of yellow rice, an order of Dolmas (8) and a soda. With tax & tip $34.88. Sat at a booth type table for comfort, only to discover we had to tip toe around the messy floor and I kicked away a ball of something rather than squish it. Husband said wrap was tasty but didn't remember they use a wrap instead of a pita for the gyro sandwich. (I had the gyro on our last visit.) Rice was good. My dolmas, however, were gross. I don't dip them in tzatziki, I typically like the taste. However, today the rice inside them was very, very gooey, as if they sat over the holiday. I ate 2.5 and threw the rest out. Someone came out to ask how things were but apparently didn't notice they were standing on rice. I didn't say anything about the dolmas, because by this time they were in the trash. Took home the remaining portion of the gyro, rice & tzatziki. Asked for a to go box, then asked again for lids for the sauce. Both times I interrupted someone playing on their phone, and the rest of the staff was hanging out talking behind the counter. Really wished they had taken the time to check the dining area.

Got some reservations to grab lunch and fuel some more shopping. All the hummus is good, but we started with my favorite the fried chicken hummus. Got a few other small bites. The star of the show was the chicken schnitzel sandwich. If you talk about the chicken sandwich wars this one wins it all. It's so crispy, crunchy, and full of flavor. First time I've tried this and I'm going to have a problem ordering anything else from now on. Service was great and my friend introduced our server to the term fridge cigarette for a Diet Coke, which was funny.

I had delicious pomegranate lemonade mocktail. I loved the fried chicken hummus, Mediterranean cucumber salad, Brussels chicken, steak the most. Everything was amazing and flavorful, I don't think you can go wrong. The cinnamon date dessert just tasted like bread XD but overall I would totally come back! They were doing a lot of unique things here and the food really was quite a step up from the other Byblos locations to the degree that there was zero resemblance. I really enjoyed everything I ate here and while it was more expensive than the other Byblos locations it was of better quality. Unfortunately something has changed as the quality seems to have dropped, the menu has changed and service has really deteriorated. They have a pizza type oven like Shaya and Saba have and they were putting out a similar type bread to those establishments but on my last visit I just got generic pita bread. The experience used to rate a higher price but now things have really declined and the juice is no longer worth the squeeze. I hope my last visit was just an anomaly but I've heard from multiple people that the standard has dropped and the generic pita is the new usual. This was a four star joint and one of the top Middle Eastern joints in the area but sadly that no longer seems to be the case.

The wait staff was very helpful with suggestions and took time to make sure we had what we needed. We ordered falafel for an appetizer and it has just the right texture. Portions are large, so we are glad we split it.
