Not only have they been a fabric of the community but they always show their commitment to Mineola through their participation in Village events. If you can think of it.... You'll find it here. Plenty of electric cars, models (that go up to 2,000 pieces), lots of model trains and trains-accessories. The beauty of the shop is that the team here are experts. Depending what you're looking for will determine who you speak with. There is value shopping in a store that understands your needs and advices you accordingly. But they do also have new comics and older/pricier stuff (key issues/gold or silver age I guess its called). You cant be afraid to dig to find what you're looking for, I've seen the owner help new customers find obscure stuff all the time so I dont get why people say they have a limited selection. Also I took my exgf there and she looked around then left because she didnt see The Walking Dead comics, then I asked Rich and he showed me a bunch of TWD comics!!! Tons of Funko PoPs to find here, from the newest releases to harder to find exclusives from past Comic Cons. In addition, you'll find a variety of comic-based character statues, action figures, Pez dispensers, plushies, you name it. If you don't see it, Dio is always happy to order it for you if possible. The prices on all of the aforementioned collectibles are the final icing on the cake, as everything is priced fairly and usually even lower than you'd find most of these items online or in other stores.
