just wanted to take a second to write a review about High grade insulation/ Rafael. They did excellent work and found a solution to get rid of a few roof rats that had made their way into my attic, while working with my limited BUDGET. Rafael gave me a quote and after all things considered and the amount of work that he had to do it was a very fair price and I would recommend giving them a call. The work that he did included getting up on my roof and sealing all holes that were potential access points for the rodents. He sealed up the exhausts vents with wire mesh, the holes in my AC which went into my roof, holes in my patio cover that attached to the exterior wall, and even the smallest holes around the roof line. He went into my attic and sealed up all the interior holes as well as put in wire mesh grills and foam sealant in order to keep the pests out as well as lock them in. I had no idea how much work it entailed. He made sure that every single little hole was sealed up. He and one of his employees spent a good 6 hours doing this. They were very thorough. Rafael then set a number of traps and then we had to monitor that. He constantly stayed in touch with me via text and calls and made a few more house calls to check on the traps and to monitor how things were going. I think in total he came out about 6 times! We ended up catching 2 rats over about 5 days and I am positive there are no more because I put a security camera in my attic to monitor it for about 10 days after we caught the last one. All this happened during Covid and Rafael was always very respectful and clean. He always wore a mask and gloves and stayed compliant. Not only was the service great but Rafael and his company were also empathetic to my situation. I would give these guys 10 stars if I could and would recommend them to anyone. Great services would highly recommend this company. Don't know why I didn't call them earlier the service is one of a kind specially knowing that they were affordable and family owned made me go with hiring them. Like the fact that we attempted to get bids from 6 different companies and all of them gave us a run for our Money which is very sad we know that times are hard but no one should ever tack on thousands of dollars just because they feel like they could what a shame. After comparing prices, we decided to go with Hgis, and we were not disappointed! Our house was built in 1960, and the insulation was probably original (yikes, I know!). We had them remove the old insulation, sanitize, seal, and install new insulation. Rafael was a pleasure to work with and was a professional every step of the way. The crew arrived on time the day of the project and provided images of their progress. The whole project took around 6 hours, and when they left, you would have no idea they were even here with how they cleaned afterwards. Aside from the actual project, we respect the fact that the RAFAEL and the crew encouraged us to get other quotes and were really patient while we called around. Wanted to Stop by and give a shout out to high grade installation services for helping me with a Project. I felt like, I was living a nightmare. I was dealing with the rodents in my attic for the past few years. you Can imagine how gross it is hearing critters, run above your head. we tried everything from pest control companies to hiring different attic - companies spent thousands of dollars and nothing seemed to work permanently. It was only a matter of weeks before having problems with Rodents again and again.we were almost at the point of giving up and sharing our dream home with another Family of Rats. This company was Recommended threw a Family member. Who used them in the past for their services. I only wished I had found this company earlier. Their strategy to fix my Rodent problem was supper effective and within a small time frame and their had work everything they did to my house fixed our Rodent issue. This company made me feel so completely comfortable that I hired them upon their first visit.loved how they came out and cleaned out my attic that had been infested for many years . Didn't realize this service even existed because it's just so hard to do. I would have payed so much more money for all their hard work not everyone is willing to go into a confined space with blazing weather pounding on your head from the radiation of the sun hitting your roof while wearing protective gear that makes everything even hotter. Rafael is professional, knowledgeable, gave us in-depth information to assist us in making the right selections for our property. Rafael is a good communicator, pays close attention to details, and explained the procedures every step of the way. He provided photographs before, during, and after insulations services that included cleaning, disinfections, old insulation and debris removal, sealing gaps, and both blow-in and rolled in insulations depending on the surface area. Rafael replied back to me in about 10 min and before I knew we were already on the phone scheduling a free estimate inspection. I obviously asked other companies to get different opinions but I went with Rafael because he was very knowledgeable and helped me understand what was the best option for me. During the meeting to discuss the variety of attic insulation options, Rafael did an exemplary job in answering all of my questions and offered recommendations that would meet my budget. When the work was conducted, the crew was professional, courteous, and competent in answering questions I had. They also contained the work space with plastic to avoid messes. As the work progressed, Rafael was on site to supervise. After the work was completed, the crew cleaned up everything to a point there was no dust. He did not push any services that we believed were not needed. He took about an hour just to do that. We were impressed with his knowledge of the insulation business. Based on that, we hired him. His crew came, placed protective plastic inside the house and did a quick and clean job. They even sealed a door and the entrance to the attic.
