Drew currently owes me over $27.000 dollars for work not completed. DO NOT trust this man. He is not respectable, even after I gave this man a second. third, and fourth chance. In over one year (and $28,000 paid and cleared into his personal account) he installed 4 posts, 8 2x6s, and three footers. He cancelled his estimate at Home Depot within days of giving it to me for a $40,000 deck on the water. Excuses, Excuses, Excuses.... That's what you get. Call him out? You get the Sob Story. Give him another and ANOTHER chance and he again chooses to fail even if given an honest person (friend of mine) who was willing to work under the table for him. BTW, don't buy into some story about his Son getting his contracting license. I do not recommend this business if you are looking for a brand new privacy fence. Perhaps this owner may build a good deck like he advertises, but not a fence. Take my word. My advice....? find a more knowledgeable fencIng company. First, the owner took half of our deposit and it was 2 1/2 months before he actually started. He had cancellations and constant "no-shows"We had a complete fence panel down and also a pool in our back yard. This caused stress on us due to him not keeping his appointment to show up to work. We even offered to let him off hook so we could find another more proficient tradesman. He would not give us our deposit back Because he had already spent our money on a project in line before us. He finally built the fence after almost 3 months and unfortunately the newly built fence only lasted 12 months because of the cheap engineering. He cut costs to build it cheaply. He basically told ME how he was going to spend MY money. He absolutely would not listen to the customer, a "know it all" owner. Then he lied to us saying my current fence panels were 6 feet tall, but they were actually 5 feet. I was out of state, and I took his word on measuring. He talked us into building a taller fence, and then said he could ONLY build a 8 foot fence because 8 ft was the only length other than a 6 ft. available at the lumber store. If he is licensed shouldnt he know about permits and height restrictions? Now we have had to spend more money on our poorly built $2000 fence. He would not fix the fence. ZERO STARS...We hired Andrew "Drew" Gormley owner of Phoenix Outdoor Concepts out of Pensacola, FL to build a pergola on our patio in May 2022 and paid a $3000 deposit at that time. He has had nothing but excuses as to why he hasn't started the job and that is only if we werelucky enough to get him to respond to a phone call or text message. It is now the end of December and we still don't have the pergola. Unfortunately we were unaware of his past history when we chose him for the job. He has quite the past history and should be avoided at all cost. He has had several different business names over the years with similar complaints. Though he comes across as a decent person and knowledgeable about his trade DO NOT be fooled. He is actually a devious, thieving FRAUD and will take your money with no intention of ever building what you hired him to build.
