I was going to the Art Of Pain Management I have been there for years…read moreIn November of last year the doctor informed me that he would be dropping my insurance and then I need to get new insurance I have a home healthcare worker that's paid for by my insurance I can't just drop it so I asked him if I could be a cash paying customer He tells me I can I paid $150 the first time and then for my second appointment I get a call the day of telling me that I can't come in that he can no longer take my money because he was never supposed to My insurance is PA Health And wellness I literally called over 20 pain management clinics and was told that they could do nothing for me I find this pain management place and I'm told I can only go to their office in Harleysville or Exton I chose Harleysville To give you an idea of what I was going through I live in Mayfair the Art Of Pain Management located on Bustleton Avenue was a 15 minute drive now like I said I called over 20 places using my ZIP Code 19136 Harleysville is exactly one hour away from me they have a Location on Welsh Road but per the rules and allowed to go there Hey it is what it is I get there I fill out a booklet of paperwork I didn't really have that long of a wait I get called back to see the doctor he asked me a bunch of questions but more importantly he listened I would definitely recommend this place

I'm used to being a part of another PT practice in the area and decided to switch because I often was left alone during my hour of therapy and just felt that I wanted more support. Here, ALL sessions are one-on-one with the therapist, and only one patient at a time is treated in the facility. They also have in-home options that I haven't used. My therapist is extremely knowledgeable, and is helping me tremendously. I would highly recommend!

Thank you HS Therapy Associates. I sustained a serious rotator cuff injury in February 2021…read more Surgery followed shortly after, then 6 weeks in a pillow sling. The surgeon then authorized PT twice a week to begin recovery of range of motion and strength. I choose to go to HS Therapy Associates and found Dr. Ciuba and his staff to be very professional, supportive and fun to work with. The program he set for me through both office and home PT, began with basics then advancing as my shoulder continued to heal. The stretching and strengthening exercises were varied and valuable. At my three month post surgery visit with the surgeon, he said he was "pleasantly surprised" at my progress due to the extent of my injury. He authorized another round of PT to keep up the good progress. This past Monday I met with the surgeon for my five month post surgery visit. I had regained virtually 100% range of motion and with significant strength improvement, he released me from his care. I would highly recommend that you investigate HS Therapy Associates should you need PT services. While PT can be hard while going through the necessary program it can be "fun" with Dr. Ciuba. She even video taped me doing the new exercises in her office so I could refer to them again at home. She's flexible with her schedule and always pleasant. Yes, it's one on one.....there's none of this, "go in that exercise room and do your exercises and then come out and see me", no! She stays with me all the way and guides me. She knows right where to massage and put the tools of her trade on my shoulder to help reduce the pain, which always works.
