One of main reasons I selected NovaCare was my past experience & they could see me quickly as opposed to several weeks wait as other PT places. Day before my appt NovaCare left message on my cell @10:30am saying they were 3 therapists short this week & would need to reschedule me to next week when they had a 'few' appts available, so now I was being pushed out at least a week. I quickly called another PT facility further away to get me started ASAP. I then called NovaCare to cancel anything further & was told they had contacted me to say they had an appt still available the next day but at noon instead of 2pm. I said I was never told that & I would stick with the new PT company. Later I noticed my landline had a message on it from NovaCare @2:30pm saying they had a noon appt the next day. No idea why they called earlier on my cell to say had to wait a week now, and called 4 hours later on landline to say something was available (landline messages are usually spam). After this scheduling issue I didn't feel confident on how my situation would be handled going forward.

Everything was going wonderfully until Dr. Manning abruptly fired Dr. B. Since my insurance paperwork was already filed with PHP, I stayed with Dr. Manning to finish my treatment. My insurance company ruled that my care was finished in January 2020. In summer 2021 Dr. Manning mailed me a bill for $3000 for care. We emailed back and forth. I called my insurance company. I emailed Dr. Manning three times without reply. In November 2021, without having heard from him after three months, I emailed him again letting him know I considered the case closed. He wrote be back an incredibly rude email stating, "I'll consider this closed when it has a resolution. I will not email you with no news as it wastes my time to do so."
