So this place is a joke. They advertise nationally that they buy equipment. Messaged them several times the equipment I was trying to sell. They kept telling me they never got the photos. After a week of back and forth. They finally said the pictures were not that great. Picture in this review of the oven. I have this $20,000 oven and smoker. It's like new but lightly used. They said they would never pay that much. They are a wholesaler and have to make money. I don't think they could afford to even pay a 1/4 of it. They didn't try to even make an offer. And the person(s) I was dealing with via Facebook was a rank amateur at best. Horrible customer service. I would recommend to go to any other restaurant supplier in Phoenix. Im gonna Write a Review based on what I have seen transpire The Buzzed GOAT Coffee Company and Tap Room. Gabe purchased a Keg Cooler about a month ago. It showed up and didnt work DAY #1. They came out in 3-4 days to "fix it" Which was nothing more than a band-aid. NOW Less than 1 month later the Keg cooler is down again. Gabe called them Sat I happened to be there as he was speaking with them cause I was throwing a Private Party Event the same day. They promised to show up Sunday to "repair again" This refurbished Beer cooler and taps. Sunday comes and goes, Monday comes and goes, Today the Dry Ice that they recomended him to use was gone and all of his KEGS of beer have gotten hot and spoiled. I would 1000% be asking for my money back. Screwing over small busiessman that busts his ass daily to make something out of his busines is uncalled for and down right FUCKED UP. I am going to share this post to many people in the small biz community. I am a part of BNI as well as other networking groups whom all could use a solid service in a business like yours. I bought a keg cooler as well as a prep cooler. I asked them to test before they delivered and apparently they never test because it arrived not working. They were nice on the phone and sent someone out a day later. They techs charged it and said it was fine. I asked why it lost coolant and if they tested for leaks and they said they had. Well here I am a month later and the cooler is warm again. They promised to send a tech out on Friday, then Monday and when I called today they said in a week. I've lost $400 in kegs and the guy they transferred me to was the rudest persons I've ever encountered in a "professional" setting. They made me pay cash and never wrote the actual amount on the receipt, can you say tax fraud? Don't use these guys, I just lost $1,700 plus $400 in product and much more in sales over the weekend. I left my commercial food slicer with them to diagnose the unit not working. They charged me 135.00 to diagnose. I got a call a couple of days later and they said it needed a $300.00 switch before they could do anymore diagnosis. They indicated that there may be something else wrong with it but wanted me to pay 300.00 for the new switch before they would continue. Any technician work their salt would do a complete diagnosis instead of simply replacing parts until it miraculously worked. I would not recommend these people. We read the reviews, but had to see for ourselves. We spent over 3 hours with our sales person, Candi, turning her showroom UPSIDE DOWN. Rearranging, configuring & reconfiguring equipment. She was patient, helpful, offered suggestions & made phone calls to get answers to questions she didn't know the answers to.. basically was extremely helpful & friendly. They were EXTREMELY patient and knowledgeable in the service department.. . Tony & Nick? (Head Electrician) & their service tech, where we spent another 2 hours talking, testing our equipment & answered technical questions & gave us information. They made sure we were COMPLETELY satisfied before we left. The equipment was clean, they had a huge inventory, prices were great & they packaged our deal with a lifetime warranty. This 5-star rating has been earned. It is also realistic. In a dozen or so visits over the past few years, I've consistently received fair, friendly treatment here. The staff will work (hard) with a customer to fit equipment and pricing to needs. They've demonstrated this again and again regardless of whether I even buy anything. [I've never yet spent much at Phoenix Used Restaurant Equipment and the staff is told early on that my needs are small, my means limited. Doesn't matter. I still get top-shelf help.] The latest two examples: 1. Staff helped me search both of the company's big buildings high and low for small parts to meet very specific needs, all the while knowing little profit could happen. In this case their motivation was simply to help ME. 2. By the time we finally located the above odd parts, we ran into the owner in a spot as far from the company's cash register as we could be. Though I don't know him, he told me to just take my parts that day and to pay him on a return visit someday. I don't think he recognized me; I make infrequent visits and they're usually with his employees. It is true that no viable business could ever afford to follow the above example on a regular basis. Still, it does indicate a good pattern I've noticed here. Old-fashioned gentlemen's word-of-honor, unconditional assistance. An eagerness to help the little guy. I've seen these things on every visit. I'm truly thrown by a couple of lesser reviews I ran across; I can only think that you can't please everybody all of the time. But, I know that I'll never be dealt with in anything less than a kind, decent manner at this business. The pleasant treatment has been too steady. No magic here...sometimes you just know. Please be sure to do your homework before doing business with this company. Buyer beware! Please don't pay cash because if anything goes wrong you won't have a leg to stand on. The equipment sold to me was a mess...refrigerator that needed a compressor after 3 weeks...and eventually had to be returned to them ...a fryer that didn't work. A stove that needs a cigarette lighter everytime l go to use it and a griddle that needed 3 replacement legs. I returned the refrigerator and fryer..they were unable to repair either one nor did they replace it or give me my money back. I was forced to sue them and won; however l haven't seen a dime of my money. Try surplus Asset Management ask for Halle...please learn a lesson from me. Back in February our main bread oven went down. We called Mr. Emergency for help. They sent out a technician, and on the first day we paid $190. A few days later the technician returned because the issue with our oven had not been properly resolved. This time we were charged $295.00. The issue remained. The following week I received a call from the company stating that parts could not be found for our oven. I was told that the most recent check would not be deposited, and that the original amount paid could be used as credit towards the purchase of ovens they had in stock. Fast forward 60 days and that check for $295.00 was deposited on 4/4/18. When I called the company on this they stated that the deal actually had been that they would only void the check IF we bought equipment for them. I paid almost $500 to this company, and never received any resolution to my problem. Meanwhile I called another company who came the very same day, actually took the time to study the wiring diagram for my oven, and fixed it with genuine OEM parts. They stated that the parts that had been put in were not even the right type of parts for that type of oven. read more

I've done business with these guys for a year now and at three different times went to them for help and each time my expectations were not only met, but exceeded. I own a small bistro and catering business in Phoenix, all of my equipment is from these folks and they have maintained it for, repaired as necessary and provided me with new stuff as my business has grown. Complete scam artists. I returned my ovens because they sold them to me and knew they didn't work. They continue to charge my credit card and still have the merchandise. When I call they play dumb (they actually are very dumb) and no one knows anything, The lady that answers the phone couldn't be any ruder if she wanted to. The owner I have found has a track record of doing this. Still fighting with credit card company and hopefully it will be resolved soon. Stay the hell away from this company. Nothing but a scam. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE GUYS! Look up and you will see the BBB F rating and many complaints. They advertise FAST 24 hour Ice machine (and restaurant equipment) repair and offer $50 off to lure you in. They don't seem to have a name for their repair service that runs out of the same office as the used equipment sales operation. They picked up my ice maker (a name brand Manitowac unit) in my home and then kept it for OVER 4 months and DID NOTHING . I called every couple weeks and the owner gave me all kinds of stories about parts being out of stock ( I checked and I could easily get the part myself so they lied) or it being in "bench testing". Half the time he would yell at you when you called to ask for a status . He and his daughter (?) answer the phone and say they would check on the status of the repair and call me back ...EXCEPT THEY NEVER WOULD. They just say that to get you off the phone. I finally showed up to pick up my ice maker (the only thing he had done to it was remove all the screws from the covers) and once again he yelled like a child with a temper tantrum and said it was the Manitowocs fault because they made it difficult to work on... then said I was trespassing on his property. Give me a break he picked the ice maker up after inspecting it and now (over 4 months later!) he whines that it is too hard to work on? Luckily I got it back (in worse shape than when he picked it up) I am passing on this story so others are aware of the horrible service I experienced I would also take other "glowing" reviews that seem to show up on yelp with a grain (pound) of salt. Update: This morning (11/23/16) the owner phoned (I recognized his distinctive high pitched voice and 602-790-5486 caller ID for his other business name "Phoenix Restaurant Supply" ) and when I asked how can I help you? He answered "Soon you'll know" then hung up. So he finally does call me back but it has nothing to do with the repair he didn't do, it's to threaten me with some sort of retaliation. Yelp allows a business to respond to reviews and that is the proper forum for his side of the story. Calling the customer with ominous threats is unprofessional at best. read more

DO NOT EVER PAY IN CASH!!! Purchased a sushi display case from them for $994. Brought it back and cleaned it. Turned it on and realized there were multiple problems with it. Called them back right away and we were greeted by the main lady there. She was super rude. We asked for a refund since we have a business to run but she refused. So we brought it back for it to be fixed and told her we need it by one week. It has been 30 days and we called multiple times. we had to dispute the charges with the credit card company because we had already purchase a brand new one to keep our business going. they called us to come pick up the fixed sushi case after 30 days which the warranty has expired so if something else is wrong with it, we just have to deal with it on my own. If I could have given 0 stars, I would have preferred that over a full star. Ashley is extremely rude and unprofessional. While attempting to negotiate a price on some equipment, her baby was screaming and she was unable to mange working with a customer and her child at the same time. She pretends to be the owner but the company really belongs to her daddy and she has to call him to get approval for all deals. She has no customer service. Every employee is rude on the phone and in person. Linda is one of the worst on the phone. She argued with me and was combative when I was just trying to get a price. They give you a 30-day warranty but YOU, the buyer, are responsible to bring the equipment back to them. They will not come to you. The sandwich prep table that I purchased from them broke 35 days after purchase and they told me that it was past their warranty and they were not willing to do anything at all to help me. Used equipment is priced higher than retail. After spending over $5,000 at their store, I went back to dress out an additional location and they all acted as if they had no idea who I was. DO NOT do business with this unbelievably rude "company". They are quickly building a negative reputation of someone with whom you do not want to do business.
