One hour earlier, the overpriced Hollywood lab I'd relied on to print my photographs for over a decade had failed me, delivering prints that badly distorted the color and contrast of my photographs, and that were printed on the flimsiest photo paper available. I was in a serious bind. I needed high-quality prints of two-dozen digital photographs I was due to have framed and ready for sale the next morning. Refusing to give up, I hopped on Yelp and searched for a printer in my area. To my utter astonishment, I found a lab with tremendous reviews, a lab that assured me over the phone that they could print my photos as soon as I delivered them, and a lab that was, on top of all that, only one mile away from my home in downtown Los Angeles. That lab was Sunlight. From the moment I walked - or rather dashed into their lab, and throughout the entire process of printing, the employees at Sunlight were welcoming and accommodating. I'm embarrassed to say that I don't recall the name of the gentleman who so patiently worked with me to get my prints just right, but he was clearly a master printer with a wealth of experience that informed his every suggestion and choice. At the same time, he was unfailingly kind and forbearing despite the fact that I was likely acting like a complete lunatic with the pressure I was feeling to get these prints right. I knew instantly when he handed me the first print that Sunlight was my new spot. They did remarkable work with my photographs, and helped me look like a much better photographer than I actually am. When all the printing was finished, I was prepared to pay amply - and rightfully so - for such prompt, expert work. But I was astonished once more when I saw that the total price was roughly 30% lower than what I'd anticipated paying at the lab I used to frequent. I know this might all sound too good to be true, but please believe me when I assure you it's all fact. It's no exaggeration to say that Sunlight is easily the best printer in this area, and among the very best in all of Los Angeles. Whether you're an amateur photographer, a hobbyist, or even a professional, Sunlight will go above and beyond to provide you with superb prints that exceed your expectations.

I went here for the price and I shouldn't have :/…read more I asked for my three disposables (2 from the early 2000s) to be printed = about 47$ I had to pay upfront. The one that is from 2025 , 1/2 of those photos (~14) are not even visible. Despite them saying they all came out great when I picked them up. Then another 14 from the 2 super old disposables didn't come out visible either. I'm also disappointed because they said when my photos were ready for pickup I'd get notified and I didn't so I called and had to check in. I'll definitely go somewhere else next time as there were some photos from the 2025 camera I rlly wanted. !!! ALSO I asked for my cameras to be returned to me with the photos because they couldn't tell me if they recycled their stuff and my library does it properly for free.
