Found out the hard way how terrible and grimy this company is. "Taz" is the only person I dealt with in this company. I hired him for my event. The day of the event, we tried to get a hold of him to confirm the arrival time. Every time I tried to call, he ignored the call and would text the following: Thank you for calling. Thank you, Photo Booth Manager Taz 888.523.0785 The event was supposed to start at 5pm and we finally got a call at 5:10 from the photo booth technician "Jesus" who said he is leaving from another event, there is a lot of traffic and he will be there in 30 minutes. Well, 45 minutes later he calls and states that he is at the venue but the valet is telling him that there are no events at the venue. After some investigation I find out that he is at a venue in a TOTALLY DIFFERENT CITY that's another 45 minutes away from my venue. Jesus says he is driving to my venue and will be ready to go as soon as possible. Some time during this fiasco "Taz" text's us to tell us that he spoke to his technician and he is at the venue. Well Taz, you are absolutely wrong. You sent your guy to the wrong damn city!!! He text's back "I think my Attednant got it mixed up. I apologize". No Taz, you messed up and gave the attendant the wrong address!! Finally, the technician (Jesus) arrives at my venue and gets set-up at 7:00 (remember, my event started at 5pm). The attendant kept stating that he would stay later to make up the time that he missed. I told Jesus that it was a decent gesture but I reserved the venue for a set amount of hours and I can't extend without it costing me a lot of money. Also, staying longer DOES NOT make up for the fact that you he was grossly late! He text'd me on Monday stating "Hey sorry about the mix up this weekend by my attendant. He got the address mixed up. Still was a successful event". What planet is he living on? 2 hours late is not a successful event. I called and texted him several times and he has yet to respond. Being an avid yelper I couldn't believe I missed yelping this unprofessional shady business. I guess if you purchase their services through Groupon they will not show up. So at all cause avoid this business at all cost. We had purchased the Groupon deal but once you called to book it tons of up sale and add-ons for props back drops and custom borders. They also try to get you to go directly through them. Its the same either way Groupon or not. So we added on somethings and then pay the difference with them. Weeks go by no communication so I email and call them. All generic response or short answers. Finally 3 days before the party I am contacted to get the custom border together. Wth i booked them way in advance and they pull this. She says we will refund your monies and that I MIGHT get a free coupon. Coupon for what? For what? So you guys can not show up again? My son only turns 1 once. Now I have to contact groupon for my refund and my credit company. Its not about the money but the memories that were to be made. The photobooth was suppose to provide memories for my family and guest to take home. I was looking forwarding to putting some pictures in my sons baby book for when he got older. I did unfortunately hire this company through groupon. It was my mistake not doing thorough research of reviews before buying the groupon for this company for my wedding. We bought the groupon in May 2017 and our wedding was the end of September. We had setup up all the details in May and the representative told us they would contact us two weeks prior to our event (which they never did). Two days before our wedding, the billing department sent us a message that said their facility got broken in to and their stuff stolen, so they could not do our wedding. This sounds so phony, especially 2 days before an event. Then, later that day, I receive a call from their sale representative telling me that groupon did not pay them and that is why they had cancel our event. I have been using groupon for over 5 years; I have NEVER known them not to follow through with their vouchers. The sale representative told me to call groupon and have the voucher cancelled then have them send payment again, so the payment could be accept. This smelled fishy to me, especially 2 days before our event date and after the extremely weird email of things being stolen, the trust in this people was gone. I was done with them and their scams. I was able to get my refund back from groupon; however, I had paid this company for $80.00 of extra perk items such custom logo at bottom of photo strip and a full attendant. This company is a SCAM and FRAUD and they operate by many other company names. All of these reviews are FAKE, created by their "employees" or paid for. The company name they have under my credit card is PHOTO BOOTH WORLDWIDE, 888-390-6332, IL 60659. Just look up this name or phone number and you will so so many negative, horrific reviews all having the same experience I did.  I found this company on Groupon and called a few other places to get prices. I first called BIG APPLE PHOTO BOOTHS and then FULL HOUSE PHOTO BOOTHS (another fake name they use) but the same salesperson picked up the phone (his name was Sal). I asked Sal why he picked up from both numbers and he told me he has no idea, that he was just a sales call person. It felt really fishy but I decided to book them for a birthday party since it seemed like a good deal and I assumed Groupon would have vetted them first. I should have known, there were SO MANY RED FLAGS.   I did some minor research before going with Big Apple because I saw some good reviews online, but be warned, these reviews are ALL FAKE. Just click onto any of these reviewers on Google under Big Apple Photo Booth Rentals (i.e. reviews by "Taha Rizvi" and "Z S") and you will see that they have posted the same exact photos and reviews to multiple places (other fake photobooth names they go by, I presume).  I booked the photo booth in August 2019 for a party in October 2019. I got an invoice and was charged in full, immediately. There was a "local manager" contact named Debbie Chambers (929-333-6971 and 917-202-4332). She never once followed up with me, I always had to contact her first.  When it came to the party I had (last week) there was no follow up from Debbie. I had texted her the day before and day of to confirm that the photo attendant would arrive at the location on time. She responded "yes." An hour into the party, the attendant still had not showed up so I called and texted Debbie many times. She did not respond for a while. When she finally responded via text (because she refused to pick up either of the numbers she had) she told me the [female] attendant was stuck in traffic. I followed up again 30 min later and she told me HIS "car broke down on the highway." She had told me the attendant was a SHE and then all of a sudden it was a HE. She didn't even have her fake story straight. No more follow ups from her after that and not even a simple APOLOGY. Even if this was a legitimate company, it is the job of the local manager to keep clients updated and send another attendant if the original one could not come, for any reason.    I have contacted the "company" for a refund over a week ago. Still no refund or follow up from them, but I did open a case with my credit company. I will be posting this everywhere I can and reporting it to the BBB so others do not fall for this TRAP. I really should have known and am pretty upset with myself, but I'm also upset that there are people like this in the world who ruin people's lives and steal their money. Vendor never showed up to my daughter's wedding wedding I paid 6 months in advance unable to ever locate them again. If you see this phone number in a Groupon ad be aware and run as fast as you can 1 (877) 466-7876 advertising photobooth. They don't deserve any stars there's so no such company they take your money and run. I called 3 weeks to ensure that everything was in place never heard back from the company so I decided that I could not wait with all the Yelps for this company I knew in my heart that they were not going to show up for my daughter's wedding, so I purchased another photobooth service and disputed with my bank and emailed Groupon and made Groupon aware of these scammers. It can only get better when I made the discrepancy on May 29th I got an email yesterday from my bank on June 16th 2018, stating they don't know why I am making this complaint when they've already met my needs how did they meet my needs when my daughter was married on June 16th 2018. Beware they will ask you not to go through Groupon, and they will add extras for a fair price and I fell for it attached is the invoice I paid in Jan 2018. The second attachment shows the discrepancy with my bank they messed with the wrong woman. I have so much proof that they're scammers. Miriam was a God-sent I found her on Groupon, but prior to purchasing her and I had a deep conversation on the telephone she was deeply saddened by what happened to me she is amazing with no hesitation and short notice she was on board. Not only was she very pleasant she provided excellent excellent service she also provided my daughter with a photo album of memories and t-shirts for the bride and groom. I am just so blessed as a woman's instinct when I was verifying vendors and try to reach out to this company by phone calling trying to locate email addresses on Google I knew that they were scammers I took action to make sure I had a backup for my daughter's wedding. Well it turns out my luck would run out on my wedding and after two hours of waiting and no communication, I was finally informed that the attendant had car issues and needed to get his car towed. We weren't told about this until we called the LA rep Isabel and asked why they the attendant wasn't at the event. I'm preparing for a long fight to get my money back, but I hope I get my refund soon. The first time in a long time I have booked a service without thoroughly researching them and boy, did I screw up. I read the reviews after booking but it was too late. I hoped for the best. But our reservation date came and went and I had one disappointed little boy on my hands. This company appears to keep a low profile on social media and has two names that I know of so far. "Photo Booth Bookings" and they're now on Groupon as "Photo Booth Nationwide", which is who I contacted. Instead of purchasing a Groupon, I went ahead and booked the reservation directly with the company. I'm lucky they didn't charge more than the agreed upon amount. The guy I spoke to wanted to upsell me but I stuck to the 2 hour package. Payment made, contract signed, I waited for the day. 1 week prior, I received a reminder email with the name of our attendant - Kyle Henry - but no other contact information. Kyle did not show up. This company only answers the line for new business and never answers, or returns, calls to the existing reservations line. We have given them 3 days now to make things right (at least monetarily) so I will now be disputing the charge and warning others in any way I can. I booked this company for a friends of mine wedding as a gift today. I called to confirm the date location time and details of the photo booth. They even sent me a confirmation. I just want to make it clear I did not purchase a Groupon certificate for this event. I booked it directly through the company at 888.390.6332. I paid extra to have a person to be at the booth to help guest. I paid extra to have special wording for the bride and groom. I paid extra because the venue was 15 miles further than their free range. I paid extra to have them stay an hour extra. They never showed up. No phone call. Telling me they could not make it. We were pleased to have Photo Booth Booking at our Annual Company Picnic. We had almost 200 attendees who had the opportunity to have their photo taken along with their friends and co-workers. Isabel, the local rep, contacted ne prior to the event to make sure she had the correct address and time. She came promptly as agreed and was able to setup her equipment within minutes. She was very accomodating of all request and provided excellent service. Purchase and reservation was so convenient and the pricing is quite competitive. The customer service representative told me she could give me a big discount if booked right away, and that "no worries," I may get a FULL refund to my credit card as long as I cancel within a week. I made the reservation on November 11 and canceled the reservation on November 12. They advised the cancellation went through and that the refund will be reflected between 3 to 5 business days. 2 weeks go by and nothing. I call and call and call. When they finally respond they tell me they need my home address so they can send me a check (I'm very annoyed at this point, but whatever, let's make it work). 3 weeks go by and I call again to make sure everything is fine. I call and call and call. They finally respond and tell me no check was sent and they don't know what happened. They tell me a manager is going to call me (ever since the issue started until today they have told me a manager will call me about 100 times) and guess what? no one ever called. Not a single time did anyone call me back. I called again and they tell me another check was sent. NOTHING. They stopped answering the phone at this point so I emailed them multiple times until they responded. When they finally respond they tell me a refund was sent already... the confirmation was for another one of their customers. I sent hundreds of emails until, about 3 weeks ago, they finally tell me that they may give me a refund, but that I would have to pay a $100 fee. Where did this come from? I tried explaining everything to them all over again. Ask them if I can speak to a manager MILLIONS of times. I ended up just calling my bank, opening a claim, and getting a refund through them. Really enjoyed using Photo Booth Bookings. Wasn't sure how it was going to go - since it Was an outside house party in Missouri with the heat and humidity being just awful, but we loved It. Owen our attendant was a lot of fun - and didn't Make a big deal of being moved around a couple of Times - when we weren't sure where we were going With him-lol. I thought the price was great - as opposed to others I priced. I would definitely use and recommend them to Anyone needing a photo booth. I did bring a lot of my own props, which I would suggest ( but it also said I could in the contract). Loved the pictures - and Owen made it a lot of fun and sent me the link to get copies of ALL the pictures right away. 5 stars for sure!!!!!! read more

I booked these guys for my wedding on Sept 3, they called me days ahead to make sure everything is good to go... and then ended up not showing up to my wedding at all. No communication at all that day. Also, they lure you in with Groupon but after you spend 150$ for Groupon, they will tell you that they can't offer that package anymore and tell you that you have to spend another 150-200$ to have an attendant there. She also said that she would send me an album with all the pictures from that day with the digits copies. Lies. All lies. That day she even told me she would not be able to come back to pick up her equipment. Had I known that they were going to over charge me and not give me what I paid for I would have kept her equipment!! I texted her afterwards asking about where is my album and digital copies and she never texted me back. But when she wanted her stuff there she was quick to call and text! Don't trust them they advertise on Groupon I know it looks like a great deal but they are a huge headache and you would need to dispute it with your credit card company. I found this company on Groupon, and was so excited to get a deal for my wedding on July 7th, 2017. I spoke on the phone with a very nice guy who helped me pick my package and assured me everything would go without a hitch. I had to use paypal to pay for my services (THANK GOD I DID) They called a week before my wedding to confirm all the details, they called three days before my wedding to confirm all the details, they called the day before my wedding to confirm all the details. After my ceremony I when I got back to the bridal suite with my new husband I was informed the Photo Booth had not arrived yet, SHOCKING SINCE THEY CONFIRMED ABOUT 10,000 TIMES! I called and no answer, I called again and was put on HOLD, (BY THE WAY I am in my wedding dress on my wedding day) I finally decided to let it go and enjoyed what I could from the rest of the day. It was devastating to not have a photo both as I had planned to have one and it was something was was looking forward too. I will never again have another wedding and it was a special token that was stolen from me and my husband. To make matters worse they never responded to my complaint or request for a refund. To save yourself stress and frustration, if you come across this company or any other company that advertises with phone number 888-390-6332 or 877-466-7876, RUN! They are 100% scam artists. We were throwing a birthday party for our son and wanted to cut costs so we checked out photo booths on Groupon (never again). This company advertised themselves on Groupon as Xclusive Photo Booth in the San Francisco, Bay Area. When we called to make sure they had availability for the day of our event, they told us that they would honor the Groupon pricing if we booked with them directly, which we did. They told my husband that it was an additional $40 attendant fee unless we wanted to pickup the equipment ourselves. We received an invoice ( which didnt even have a company logo on it) and were told they would confirm details a week in advance. We never heard from them again. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and called the existing reservation line numerous times and didn't get an answer until we pressed "1" on their customer service line for new reservations. When asked about the confirmation they refused to provide the attendant's contact and let us know they would get back to us the next day, which was 3 days before event. They never confirmed and never showed up on the day of the event. After reading all the yelp reviews and doing some detective work, we found that this company has Better Business Bureau complaints and also advertises themselves as Photo Booth Bookings and Photo Booth Bookings WorldWide. Once we had confirmation they were fraudulent and had misrepresented themselves, we disputed the claim with our credit card company and thankfully we found a reputable photo booth company last minute that still had availability to make it to our event. I wish I would have done my research upfront; however I assumed that Groupon had their own process for confirming that a company isn't fraudulent/misrepresenting themselves before advertising deals for them. Please take the 4 and 5 star reviews on Yelp and Groupon with a grain of salt. Either this company picks and chooses the events they want to show up at, or they have friends, family, or paid actors come on here to leave phony positive reviews. read more

Wow so I am actually surprised that they have such horrible reviews... I booked for a wedding reception and it worked out fine. There were some hiccups and they were a bit hard to contact at first, but everything worked out and I got a good rate. And the lady Irene was an awesome tech and super nice! They do need a power outlet and a table. Don't buy on Groupon and just contact them directly; adding stuff to the base Groupon package would have been more expensive. read more

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! I wish I checked the yelp page before booking with them. This place is definitely a SCAM. They advertise 9 years in business on their website, but checked Better Business Bureau only to find that they've been in business for less than a year. ("Based on BBB files, this business has a BBB Rating of No Rating. The reason is as follows: This business is not currently rated because it has been in business less than one year and does not have a sufficient track record for BBB to rate it." --pasted directly from BBB website). I found this business on Groupon, but called Photo Booth Bookings directly to make sure they had availability for my mom's party before purchasing the Groupon. However, they convinced me to book directly with them and they would match the same price on Groupon, if not better. I fell for it and booked it right away. I never expected this would happen since my invoices were emailed to me on time and even a reminder for the event a week before. I was completely shocked when they failed to come through. I was panicking on the day of my mom's event, called them for probably a total of 20 times. Their website advertises their phone hours from 7-11pm, but no one answered my call. I called all day Sunday and blocked my phone number and still no answer. On Monday after calling a few more times, someone finally picked up. The person who picked up sounded like he was taking the call from his house and just woke up. I explained to him my frustration and demanded my money back, and he said he didn't have access of anything. I gave him until 1pm to call me and refund my money, and even after promising to call back he never did. I called back 10 minutes after 1 and his excuse was that their phonelines were crazy busy... WTH?!?! At this point, you didn't show up to my event... the least you can do is prioritize me now!!! It's a mystery to me how this business is still up and running. Here is the mission statement they advertise on their website. Every little bit of it is a big fat lie: "PHOTO BOOTH BOOKINGS specializes in photo booth and event services. Yes, they are cheaper than others, but CHEAPER leaves you with nothing but an invoice and a no-show. Pay the extra money for someone who you can trust and save yourself all the trouble.
