As a web designer, I see a lot of stock photos on people's websites, and didn't want the same feel for our company website. Knowing this, we hired Marc-Gregor to create a consistent and appealing series of photographs that set us apart from so many others out there. He took an incredible amount of care in crafting the philosophy behind the photographs, and a tireless perfectionism in the field in order to get the photos just right. After being so impressed with how the photos came out for our website, I hired him to take some family photos as a Christmas gift. We got the whole family together one afternoon, trekking around Ann Arbor and getting a number of creative and fun pictures of the family. Throughout the experience, Marc-Gregor's professionalism was top-notch while maintaining an easy-going and personable attitude that made the whole experience a great one (even though it was quite cold!). In many ways, Marc-Gregor convinced me of the true value of quality photography. Prior to my experience with him, I had relegated photography as something that happened in art galleries and senior pictures, but had little place in the office or casual family events. After seeing the end results of working with Marc-Gregor, I've been convinced of the practical importance of photography, and will hold all others to the high bar that Marc-Gregor has set.

We had a horrible experience with Rawlinson Photography. They sent a $100 credit via email, but on…read morethe day of our wedding, he asked for the $100 back. He threatened me that if I didn't give him the $100 back (claiming it was an administrative mistake), he would leave our wedding. It was so stressful.... He was very rude, unwilling to go over any details, and not very organized. When we received our wedding photos via mail (flash drive), he sent the wrong event photos (NOT OUR WEDDING). He then insisted that I had to physically drop off the flash drive at his location and pick up ours. When we received our photos, the lighting was bad, and the photos were awkward, candid shots. He did not take the time to make sure we looked good in them, which was disappointing. Additionally, none of the photos were edited or polished. It was like he just showed up, started snapping photos like a child with no care or professionalism, and then just downloaded them to give them to us directly. We had to edit our own photos, because he said we would have to pay an additional $1000 to get any edits. Also, our package included a final print, which he did not honor, so I had to go elsewhere to get a professional print of a photo of my husband and me (after we edited ourselves). Just overall very disappointed, would never recommend, not even for my worst enemy. -Bryana & D

Our photographer Jeff showed up early which was great and immediately got to work setting things up. He was personable, instructional in staging photos, efficient and I truly cannot wait to see the shots he captured. Our videographer was not who we originally were assigned but Emory showed up and again was personable, helped walk us through some great moments to capture and was so passionate about video that he was hyping us up all day. The few clips he showed a couple of the bridesmaids made them so excited for us to see. Evan was our dj and played each song as we planned. The music was up beat and fun and when there was a song I wasn't super fond of we made eye contact and he mixed into something else. The photobooth was fun and the attendant was so kind. We also did uplighting and cold sparks. The pictures people took of us and sent show people with shocked excited faces when those went off, which was just a fun addition. Our communication was challenging. There was a lot of phone tag and I felt that I had to followup a few times too many. I didn't know what to expect the day of. On the day of the wedding, our venue created some challenges but Donna cruised through them and managed to pull everything together seamlessly to me and my guests.
