She emailed right away and we were able to talk through email, texting and a quick phone call. What I loved about Erica was her fast communication through email/texting. At the time that I found Erica I was in California and I had my (now fiancé) speak to Erica a few times because of our time difference. Erica and Tony kept in touch with planning our session which made it super easy for me to just focus on outfits. Lol! I let her know I was looking for maternity & outdoor photoshoot. She exceeded my expectations. We confirmed date and time then she let me know the location few days closer to our photoshoot date. A friend recommended her to me for boudoir photos and I contacted her and was able to book within a few weeks (though I believe she typically books further out). She answered all of my questions beforehand, gave me her cell phone number, reassured me, and gave me tips for the day of. Her studio is absolutely beautiful and very private. She and her makeup artist Destiny were there to greet me and they immediately made me feel extremely comfortable. Destiny did my makeup while LeZandra and I chatted about what types of images I liked and what I wanted out of my photo shoot. I brought some of my own outfits but she has a whole closet of beautiful lingerie and shoes to choose from as well. LeZandra guided me through poses and made me feel super comfortable but like an absolute supermodel at the same time. She was very encouraging and showed me images along the way to make sure I liked the direction she was going in. We ended up taking a little longer than her usual sessions because she was so easy to talk to and felt like an old friend by the end of our session. She saved the day for my small, elegant beach elopement…read more I had been speaking to photographers for months and couldn't find anyone that I liked their work enough to hire who was available with less than a year's notice. In comes Melanie, who I happened to find by accident through a Yelp promo email. She had another shoot earlier in the day, but bc we were doing a later beach elopement ceremony and reception, she could do it! Signing the contract and working out all the details online and via email was easy. She sent me some paperwork to give her details and then we had a phone conversation to discuss and get to know one another. On the day of - she texted me, showed up exactly on time, and was a dream to work with. So friendly, so kind, so helpful. She went above and beyond for me and my family and was so easygoing. She posed us wonderfully and rolled with the punches when a few things didn't go as planned (it's a wedding, it's going to happen!). Absolutely professional. The photos we've been given so far as a preview are stunning and I can't wait to see the others. Everyone raved about how kind she was and how much they liked our photographer afterwards, and when we've sent a few photos, they've all been blown away. My maternity pictures are STUNNING and I've never felt more beautiful or loved my body as much as I did then and it was my third pregnancy!
