Great company, Great value!…read more Chris, The Owner, personally came to our house. He was extremely personable and knowledgeable. He wrote our comprehensive estimate for pull-outs in all our kitchen cabinets as well as for our master bathroom vanities and our lower stop-n-drop cabinet. Scheduling was immediate; Steve, our installer did a fantastic job, including a challenging task of repairing the damaged metal track on one of our existing deep utility drawers, which we really needed and appreciated. Subsequently, we added another 9 feet of cabinetry in our kitchen, and of course we again hired Shelf Theory to not only add pull-outs to the new cabinets but also to convert all the existing doors and drawers to soft-close. We wanted to convert 1/2 of the new lower pantry-size cabinet to a "Utility" for storing our step ladder, and we knew that Chris would know just what to do. In fact, I insisted that Chris himself would handle this request, and he did not disappoint. Along with his trusty assistant, Craig, they expertly accomplished the modification as well as the complete conversion to soft-close in record time. We were amazed at how quickly they accomplished this work and how meticulously they were in precisely adjusting the tension for each soft-close. We could not be happier with the quality, value and superb workmanship we received from Chris and his team at Shelf Theory. And thank you very much for the Veteran discount, Chris. It appears your memory of the chain of events is skewed, nothing on our part was fabricated attached to this review is a copy of those text messages from you dated 8/2021 to validate the accuracy of my initial review. There was no quote issued, no customer transparency, no continuous updates or communication unless I generated the inquiry, and there wasn't a team as you mentioned it was you alone that I dealt with and no one else. You never said, on any occasion anything about a team and being booked out to September 2021; you lead us along for 5 weeks you never communicated a staffing shortage or covid-19 as a "secret reason", now it is being used as an excuse in your rebuttal nearly 2 years later! Yes, I did purchase the fixtures only to expedite the guest bath remodel which worked out with the other contractor that completed the remodel. We never had a specific start date with your company since I could not get you/Millennium Designs, Inc. to quote the job we were flexible and open to dates if needed. In conclusion, I fired you due to your constant delays and procrastination since you could not generate a customer job quote in 5 weeks. The facts remain as mentioned in my review nearly 2 years ago (21 months). There was no fabrication of events on our part only facts and timelines. There is more fabrication and lack of transparency on your part and it is apparent you take no professional responsibility for your actions. You then blame the customer and make false accusations on their behalf when you actually made false/failed promises to deliver us a quote after 5 weeks of waiting patiently, just do your job and follow through which never happened. Don't tell me what my experience was it was duly noted in my initial review of 8/2021 and is an accurate representation of the bad experience we had with Millennium Designs, Inc. Customers beware this could happen to you. Take this review as constructive feedback and grow from it.

I was excited about the grill/pergola combo that we picked out and was set up for an install date…read moreof 9/16. The grill showed up and I was told that the pergola would be in the next day or 2. I was originally told that the install for everything was 1 day. After a week on the day the pergola was supposed to get built the installer was no call no show. He showed up the next day to pour concrete (this was also never explained so new to us) then has not been back since. No communication and I'm still left waiting and wondering when this gets done. The sales people blame the installers and the installers blame the sales people. Jesse flat out lied about what will happen next. would not recommend to this company at all. Hard pass and totally a joke! Help?? My job is still not finished 2 weeks later!

My experience with Lawrence and Victor prior to installation was great. They made a lot of promises…read moreand guarantees about things we wanted and made us feel confident in their abilities despite less than perfect reviews (blamed on previous employees). We picked out slabs and asked to see templates of the slabs before they were finalized and cut (we never received pictures or any correspondence about what pieces were coming from where). We were told all of our counters would be once piece and that the grain of the stone would flow from our bar down to the slab where the sink is (a peninsula). Come install day and 4 or 5 people came in and did quick work of getting the old counters out and the new ones in, took them less than 5 hours (kitchen and two bathrooms). Unfortunately the speed shows in the quality of work. First and foremost we have a ugly seam (made of two different pieces of the slab which don't match) right in the middle of our peninsula. The seam doesn't even come to the middle of the corner that they decided to put it on. We had drywall which needed to be repaired in the kitchen and one bathroom because they couldn't take two seconds to score the paint to keep it from peeling up. Our sink was set on top of two 2x4s and simply caulked into place which failed about 30 minutes after they left. This poor work was blamed on a new crew. Victor was initially great about sending someone over to fix small issues (the sink, faucet hole was in the wrong place, seam which shouldn't be there was rough), but after they received final payment for the job Victor started blowing off my texts saying he was working on the issues, which we still have almost a month later(they promised us a cutting board from one of our 4 sink cutouts, our backspash doesn't line up (or match for that matter)). In the end we just have to settle with a less than average (5k+) granite install and I've spent probably 4 hours fixing drywal and paint damage. We now get to spend more money removing their poorly installed backsplash and replace it with tile.
