I love to dance and I had begun to dance again to lose weight but my knees were screaming. In the beginning I was very frustrated. I've had knee issues forever. I was born with hypermobile knee caps and they are too high up. I cried because the straight leg raises hurt a lot. Now I can do a lot more before pain starts. I can tighten my quads now without having to hold my knee caps (to prevent them displacing). Now I can walk faster and longer without stopping all the time. I feel stronger. Right now I'm working with Arielle, who is absolutely one of the best in terms of telling you what's going on with your injury & why certain movements will help/hurt. I've been gaslit a LOT by doctors so I'm always on edge but I've never felt anything but compassion from the team here. I'm also a big fan of the new compression leg thing! The space is huge and they're super good about cleaning equipment!
