The office is nice, the staff is great and the nurse practitioner Michelle is the best. I've seen her several times, took my teen daughter that loves her and my husband has been here too. Seen by Dr Miller. This is a great practice. Pat is a sweetheart. The front office has a kids table with puzzles and water fountain.

Dr. D was a godsend time and again. His office sent all records to a larger office with multiple doctors. Each time I went I got a different doctor and staff. Nobody knew us or my son's history. It sucked. Last year we moved to Orlando and luckily found our second "Dr. D". I prefer the independent offices as they get to know their patients. My son is now 16 and doesn't need a doctor as much. Hunters Creek Pediatrics fit me in within a few days. We got to the office early to make sure paperwork was completed but they were out to lunch and closed till out appointment time. We went in as soon as they opened and waited for 20 minutes when I finally asked if something was wrong. The receptionist told me they didn't have our previous history from the other doctor yet. I wish I had asked sooner because I had copies of everything. (They probably wish I had asked sooner as well). Once we got in a room the wait wasn't to long. We saw the NP and she was really amazing. this was the most complete physical my kids have ever had done and I was actually happy that Florida made me do this all over again. They didn't short cut it knowing my kids had just done this. She checked everything, asked tons of questions and it was really a good visit. We were given referrals to specialists that my kids will need here and they filled out all of the forms Florida requires for kids to enter school. I have not been back to the office so this is based on one visit with healthy children but I was happy with the visit and thrilled with the level of care. I like the laid back atmosphere and can see that this is a calming factor for little ones. The office was professional in nature to parents.

He is insured under my United Oxford's plan but I did not have his actual insurance card on me. I have my insurance card and a print of my son's insurance card on my phone. Despite my offer to request Oxford to email 'Family Medical Clinic' my son's insurance card, the secretary denied to service my son. I asked to speak to a doctor because it was incomprehensible and a medical assistant said a bullshit ' the secretary cannot work without the actual insurance card'. Both minions just stood there shook their heads. It seems that this place is money hungry, run by stubborn and greedy owners.Family Medical Clinic has zero understanding of the medical business and the 'family' in its name is a gimmick. Save yourself time, efforts and frustrations, go to CareSpot ( 5min. drive away). CareSpot was really nice and called Oxford to verify my son's coverage and the NP checked my son 5 min later.
