Indeed, Dr. Briseno spends a lot of time with his patients, however, much of that time is spent on him typing and talking into his little recorder, or taking a call from "his neighbor", or discussing his military service. Had he given our concerns a minute of attention, he might have discovered that my husband was indeed very ill. The fact that many reviewers comment on Dr. B's military service and the amount of time he spends with patients explains why he didn't have time when it was my husband's turn to see him.

He personally calls you on the phone if labs or tests come back with something he needs to discuss immediately instead of having a nurse call you to setup up another appointment. I was left at the door by the medical assistant who ignored my request for help, which left me feeling dizzy and vulnerable due to my health conditions. She was very rude turning her back on me when I was speaking and then walking away. I was left at the door not knowing what to do. The doctor wrongly accused me of rudeness without seeking my side of the story, instead choosing to berate me for something I did not do. I was not rude to anyone. Despite my attempts to communicate my needs, the medical staff showed no concern for my well-being, treating me as less important than themselves. The doctor ridiculed and belittled me in a fit of anger unable to control himself. I was unable to discuss some of the heart issues concerning me. This experience has led to a profound fear of healthcare, as the doctor's angry outburst and unfounded accusations caused me psychological harm. When going for care I never anticipated to be an mistreated. I feel betrayed by a system I once respected. In my opinion the doctor violated his duty to care for an elderly disabled person like me. She has a contract with Florida Blue and should honor my insurance, per FB. However at the first of the year Olga changes her status to only accepting existing patients and since my insurance policy changed she is able to classify me as a new patient & drop me. She only doesn't accept new patients during the first of every year coincidentally. Unfortunately per FB she may get away with this unethical practice, they are looking into further. I don't mind leaving Olga & planned on leaving soon, as I found her unprofessional, not interested in patient care & was always 1-2 hrs late. The first visit she demanded payment up front & over charged me $389. It took several calls & a month to get my $ back. I was forced to cancel all future appointments with Olga but I needed a referral & her office would not provide one even after FB contacted her office twice & did not understand the refusal for a referral. Save yourself from this doctor, she's awful.
