I chose Sports Rehab & Physical Therapy based on the reviews I read. I could not have done better. From the first visit to the last (16 total) they placed my needs first. The scar tissue was massaged every time I went in. She also extended the arm to new ranges after I completed therapy each visit. My Dr. was thrilled with the progress and said he had not had anyone gain as much mobility in such a short amount of time. Five stars isn't really enough. They rock!!!

When asking about pain medication, was told that the only medicine they could prescribe me was Tylenol 4 and hydrocodone. I can't take either of these meds because I'm allergic to codine. Upon telling the nurse and doctor this, I was told that if I needed anything other than those 2 medications, that I'd have to go to a pain management clinic. WTF??!! Hello.. you're my doctor!!!! You can prescribe many different types of medicines for pain! Why would you even want to prescribe a medicine to me that I can't take???? Totally unprofessional office staff! So, so, so, so rude!!!!!! Will never go back to this location again! Doctor has totally no compassion to the wants and needs of his patients. Telling someone to go to a pain management clinic because you don't believe in prescribing anything other than 2 medications.... TOTAL JOKE!!! Go to Dr. Angel Lopez instead... I had been having this painful neck & shoulder issue with limited range of motion for quite awhile, thinking it was just overuse & would eventually resolve--WRONG!! I was to leave on a cruise vacation the following week & was really seeking relief beyond the usual meds & long-term physical therapy sessions that I had no time for. Dr Proctor was very kind, professional & thorough in his assessment. He did some sort of maneuver/readjustment that realigned my vertebrae. I was very sore the next morning as he warned me I would be. But the excruciating nerve-like pain was somewhat lessened & I was very pleased with the outcome of my visit. I made 2 additional appts with the same result & was astonished to see that the excruciating pain had almost disappeared after my 3rd visit. Dr Parker is extremely professional and yet compassionate and very thorough. she uses a technique called ART (No snap, crackle, pop) and gently manipulates the tissue and muscles in a specific way to rebalance the muscles and joints. In my instance, I wound up needing joint replacement eventually, but EVERY visit brought some relief and then she would demonstrate and teach stretches AND tape the area to support it and prolong the benefit. She also does cranio sacral release and a lot of work on babies and children. Everyone seems to leave with a big smile and I know I certainly did! I was referred to her by my yoga teacher and my local pharmacist. The pharmacist had a college daughter w chronic knee pain that resolved after a few treatments. This woman has a gift!
