Based on positive reviews, I decided to see Mira for leg pain. I'm not sure if anyone really knew what was causing the amount of pain I was experiencing. My GP certainly had no idea and no plan beyond anti-inflammatory medication and pain killers. Mira quickly found tight joints and worked at releasing the tight muscles/fascia/tendons/joints. This helped immensely to decrease pain and loosen my legs. Unfortunately I required treatment for much longer than anticipated, but each session was helpful. Mira has the ability to explain what's happening and why concisely in layman's terms. She never talked "down" to me. She was encouraging without scolding even when I didn't find the time to do exercises daily or forgot some of them. I received a review of how to do them without making me feel incompetent. I'm a Prostate Cancer survivor who underwent a radical robotic Prostectomy. As a result of this surgery the sphincter muscle from the bladder had been removed. Consequently I'm Incontinent. As I'm unwilling to undergo further surgeries for a urination prosthetic, I'm strengthening my pelvic floor muscle. The strengthening of my pelvic floor muscle over the last few months has had positive effects and improved my recovery continuing incontinence. Mira is an excellent Physiotherapist and she is open and well experienced in her field of expertise. She is willing to work with men who have an extremely embarrassing condition. She is also willing to learn other techniques which will assist my recovery. Through ongoing physiotherapy, I believe I'll get continuing improvements for my condition. read more

In Fall 2015 I was competing in a 30+ hour adventure race when both my knees started to cause me excruciating pain. Even resting a month after the race I couldn't jog without pain in my knees. It was at that moment I knew I needed some help and that my standard routine of stretching and rolling out wasn't enough. A friend recommended Dr. Yee for his active release therapy and other expertise. I've visited Dr.Yee for about 5 months now (when I'm able to) and have seen major improvements. Mira Jindani is a life saver! The location of her practice is great - it's in the Roots on Whyte building. Every time I've been there the clinic has been organized, clean and professional from the front desk to the private treatment room. I very much appreciate Miras dedication to the profession - she stays up to date with the current research and her care doesn't stop at the clinic! She's often keeping me updated through email on new exercises and stretches to do that she finds on her constant study. Myra is the physical therapist you want to meet. I have been struggling with back and leg pain. She has helped me very much and my life is changing because of Mira. I have met a couple of physical therapists in this city in the past. Each time they would spend less than 5 minutes with me because they are handling 10 patients at a time. I gave up on physical therapy until I met Mira. Dr. Yee has helped me get more mobile again. Without the joint pain in my hips I feel so much younger and healthier with a renewed sense of hope for a fitter and leaner body. I was very happy with the treatment I received from Mira. When I started treatment, I had a painful foot and shoulder. Mira used a wide range of techniques on each (e.g., massage, ultrasound, and IMS) and took the time to really get to the root of each problem. This clinic is just a fantastic neighbourhood spot. That it's in the Roots on Whyte building (I'm a BIG fan!) only makes it that much better and central.
