The gelato dipped in chocolate wasn't bad. The pistachio didn't taste anything like pistachio. And then we got the cookie butter frappe. Tasted nothing like cookie butter and more like burnt coffee with no sweet taste. No whipped cream and looked nothing like the photo. Not sure if the worker was stressed out because there were a lot of people right before us. Or he genuinely didn't know how to make the drink. Cannot recommended this place enough!! Gelato is authentic and AMAZING. Tried the panini #2 and will be back as often as possible to have it again. Local owners, family business, and just the happiest foodie experience. This family owned business is a hidden gem in Del Rio! Being military around here, not a lot of mil members know about places like this. The husband owns a barbershop right next door and the wife owns the gelato store. They're known for their gelato (obviously) AND panini sandwiches (Highly recommend). I wish they werent so tucked into Del Rio and away from Veterans Blvd bc if they were on the main road, I'm sure a lot of people would go here!
