My reward for hitting my Weight Watchers goal of 40 pounds down was a new pair of walking shoes because success begets success - and let the party continue! I first looked at the clearance rack. Sadly, the selection was pretty picked over. So I went to look at New Balance, a brand I consider tried and true. A really knowledgeable salesman explained the features and benefits of four different levels of shoes. I didn't buy by price, I bought on benefit and am really happy with my selection. It's so comfortable and supportive. The salesman measured my feet and - whoops - I've been buying too small shoes for a while.
