The management is on point and know all the kids names. My daughter's teacher, Miss Jennifer, is the best teacher I ever experienced. She is warm, artistically brilliant, in tune with the students, patient and kind! She genuinely treats the children as her own. I put my daughter in school full time at age 2 after our childcare situation changed. The school exceeded my expectations! My daughter knows colors, ABC's, can count to 10 in spanish, etc. I am so thrilled! My only regret is not sending my kindergarten aged son here! I LOVE this school! Update: I also forgot to add how wonderful and nurturing the class helpers and before/after care teachers are. The ones I have encountered are seasoned professionals and sweet! Among my favorites are Miss Terry, Miss Randi, and Miss Amanda. They are all unshakable and knowledgeable when it came to my clingy daughter crying often at drop off! Currently he's 2 and a half so he's in the two year old program. I was nervous when we first registered him because he wasn't separated from anyone besides his family care-givers and I was nervous about how he was going to handle school. At first he was nervous but now that he realizes he'll be picked up he seems to be okay about going. The staff I have dealt with when I drop him off seem to be very nice. Miss Lisa seems to be an awesome teacher. I am nervous because our son has been pushing some of the kids in the class and even though this is normal toddler behavior we are trying to nip it in the but and discourage it. I'm just scared he might get kicked out of the school for it if it's ongoing but we'll see what happens. In short I'm impressed with this school so far, I hope my two year old does not get kicked out so that he may continue his pre-school years at Miss Midgie's.

This means some children become left unattended for hours. This isn't a temporary problem, it is a repeating pattern showing a clear inability to manage the facility. Some of the teachers are lovely and do a great job of caring for the children. But the upper management is pure degeneracy and interferes with the teacher's abilities to do their job. It is a shame that a few people can cause such a downfall in the care that the facility provides the children. There is no shortage of childcare in the area, please look in a different direction if you are considering childcare.

Childtime has cameras and while I'm at work I can log in and see exactly what my baby is doing. She is a toddler, but her days are structured with activities geared to develop her skills socially and physically. So far all is well and my heart is at ease. (Summer 2016) Conveniently, while walking I stumbled upon the window of this Spanish school, the owner had been inside as she was setting the school up. (She was new to the strip of Smithtown) I requested a card and some information. I took a chance by signing my Oldest son up (3 years old)- he is extremely shy, and does not take to many places very easily. I expected him to resist the school (especially because he is shy - young and learning social cues- now throwing in a a second language/ culture) My son took very well. The teacher (also the owner) is more than just a teacher, she truly loves these kids. I am the creep that walked by the school at all random times to check in on my son. I feel safe leaving my son with her. In addition my son comes home with all sorts of information on culture and language. She makes learning less of a chore and more of a game. My oldest son loves it so much that now I send my youngest son (just turned two) and he is thrilled. I can't say enough good things about this school, the teacher & the environment. Parking can stink at times because it's in town, but it's close enough to a corner making parking lots a lot more available for a short little walk. The price is well worth the experience for these children& the owner is more than willing to help you work within your budget- although this is her job you can tell that this is also her dream and passion. She isn't in it for the money.-- and that's a hard thing to find
