What a phenomenally terrible agency. The direct contact folks (nurse, aides) were exceptional in…read morespite of having to work for dangerously incompetent superiors. Patient was erroneously discharged from nursing and home health aide services due to an error in paperwork. Patient is physically limited and asa a result isolated from community. Apart from medical care, patient was also provided with supportive kindness from staff, patient came to see these people as friends. However, the office child felt the punitive approach was best, and rather than admit they had made a mistake, the screwed over patient instead. This is how their priorities work. If you love your family, you should not trust their care to this agency.

Shamrock Homecare should be shut down. I have had to file a formal complaint with the BBB and I learned about further lies after filing the complaint. If you were asked by a patient with recent back surgery to call first before coming over so the dogs could be closed in a room, would you expect a call? Or would you expect someone banging on the door getting dogs worked up while patient can barely move to put them away? If you were told then that a dog friendly nurse would come, would you expect to hear from the company to make arrangements? Shamrock did none of these things nor did they notify the surgeon that they weren't caring for his patient as arranged. It was after the surgeon called them that he was told the lie that the dogs tried to attack the nurse. Neither dog has ever bitten anyone but if the nurse is scared of dogs, she could have followed instructions to call first. Shut down this company.

i am so disappointed in the care that my dad was given during his "rehab" after leaving griffin…read morehospital. the hospital tells the family that your loved one needs to go to rehab so they can receive physical therapy and other services before returning back home. My dad was there during end of Covid so he was put into a room at end of hallway (away from everyone else and only had minimal interaction w/cna's etc) his meals were brought to that room and he was basically secluded and alone for 14 long days!! when my dad was admitted to BW he had onset dementia but I can tell you without a doubt that after his 30 days at BW he was never the same. they did so much irreparable damage that took so much from my dad and our family. IF I wuld have known, I wuld have demanded that he comes directly home. I could have given him 100% more PT and tlc for sure. it's a shame that the hospitals make their money from us and then make people go to nursing homes for so called "rehab" just so they can also benefit financially. it's disgusting for sure!! I'm sorry to my dad because he deserved so much more. my advice to anyone in similar situation to bypass BW or any other "rehab". by the way, their PT (it he had it at all) was 30 mins or less 5 days/week.its all about money and that's it!!!

I have had to reach out to State my grievances about the staff on multiple occasions. When it comes to the lack of communication the verbal miss treatment, and Unprofessional behavior Encountered. It should not have to be taken to extremes of legal action on behalf of the patient for the Stratford VNA takes patient grievances into account. The dismissal by the Stratford VNA of the grievances against its staff member Is a direct cause of the patient development delay of health care. Which directly impacts the crucial developmental process of the patient. Although I do appreciate the preservation attempt made on behalf of the Stratford VNA liaison to protect them from litigation. they are still falling short, I had made it clear to all three of the Therapist that I wanted 3 times a week up to patient discharge. The only therapist I do not wish to continue would be PT therapist Christine, due to the fact of her unprofessional, disrespectful behavior, and lack of the patient continuous care and her negligence! I would urge anyone who was thinking of working with the Stratford VNA to think twice. Going through health issues are strenuous enough don't add to them!

On top of that, I feel like the nurse suggested that my loved one take too much morphine. My loved one passed away in the early morning hours on a Sunday, so maybe you'd have more luck on a weekday, but it was like pulling teeth to even get a nurse to come visit on that Saturday. I feel like our family was left to fend for ourselves and the whole experience left me traumatized. I can only hope that my loved one was at peace and felt no pain. I recommend hiring any other hospice to avoid running the same problems.
