Beautiful arrangement to my brother and sister-in-law! Same day delivery and amazing customer service!

Buyer Beware. I ordered flowers for my son's girlfriend who lives out of state via DoorDash. I paid extra for a birthday balloon that was not included in the order. As I was not there to receive the item and didn't have a high resolution photo as proof, I was not able to submit for an item refund on DoorDash. I then called the florist directly who was rude and dismissive. They told me that they would not help me or make a refund for the missing item on the order- that I need to contact DoorDash if I had an issue with the order. When I tried to explain why I couldn't, because I didn't have a photo, again, dismissive. Oh well. As a result, I paid an up charge for absolutely nothing and have no way of getting a return for the missing item that they got paid for. I will not use this florist again, mostly because I was completely disappointed by their lack of customer service and frankly, their dismissive tone to a new customer who spent $126.43. While it wasn't cool paying six dollars for a balloon that wasn't delivered, it was the fact that this company was not only not apologetic about it, made no attempt to remedy it. I used them specifically as I wanted to support Local. Next time I will go through Hy-Vee. read more

First time buyer here. Ordered a designers choice bouquet and man it didn't disappoint. Not entirely sure why this place has bad reviews unless they ordered one of the cheapest tiers. You get what you pay for with flowers, but man this is way better than I expected. Nothing but good things to say about my first time ordering from here. Wife took floral classes back in the day and even she was blown away. Will be back for sure with every special occasion. read more

I used to believe Piccolo was the best in Omaha. They normally exceeded my expectations. But my recent experience is that they just don't care anymore. They have completely botched the past three orders and I do not plan to do business with them again. For an order two weeks ago the delivery person could not find my address. The 2nd order was to go to another city late last week. It was delivered to the wrong address. And now, despite several verbal instructions to the person at Piccolo, they tried twice and failed to deliver. I asked the order be left in my building vestibule but the delivery person must not have received the message. I think my expectations are just too high for the current Piccolo service level. read more

I've normally had good service from these guys. Recently I sent flowers for Valentine's Day. Some of the stems of the roses were broken. It's a busy day, I get that, but when calling to let Piccolo's know, they coped an attitude and said if we wanted them replaced we could come and deal with it ourselves. In a service industry like this I was kind of surprised by this. Update: 2/15/2019 I don't know why I selected Piccolos Florist for a Valentine's day bouquet of flowers for my wife. They ruined our wedding flowers several years ago. Nonetheless I gave them another chance. I ordered her Valentine's roses on January 30th for a February 14th delivery. Paid just under $100 and what do you know... They didn't deliver. This place is terrible-they don't come thru when you need them, no communication back to customers, just a pi$$ poor waste of a business. I have ordered delivery from Piccolo's Florist about four times now, and each time has been great! The overall quality of the flowers has been wonderful! They stay alive for weeks and always smell great. I have not had any issues while ordering online and ordering online has been easy. The price is definitely reasonable, especially for the quality of the flowers! I wish I could give negative stars! Piccolo's Florist is very unpredictable and unprofessional. Less than a week before my wedding, the stylist was changed on me and they did not communicate anything with me. Fast-forward to 6 months after my wedding, I received a letter explaining that I owe money for an unpaid bill, however, I had a receipt saying that the flowers were paid in full before my wedding date even happened. The manager was so hard to get ahold of, and when she finally found time to reach out she said it was taken care of... Well now four months later, I received another letter in the mail explaining I own even more money... It has almost been a whole year and they cannot get their side handled. When I called to fix this again the manager was no where to be found and the sales rep laughed at my inconvenience over the phone. This company is a waste of time and money. Piccolo's Florist is a must stop in Omaha when I need flowers. Not only do I enjoy the arrangements that they send out for my wife, but I enjoy the staff very well. The manager Frank Piccolo is just so nice to work with. I always make sure to say hello to him if I stop in. The product is always well prepared and lasts for over 7 days. I have never been let down at Piccolo's. In 2012 Frank Piccolo did my wife and I's wedding. Needless to say I was more than pleased. "Tony, I regret to inform you that all of our lilies and orchids came in this week damaged due to the heat. Unfortunately we will be unable to make a "Napa Valley" for Barbara. I have made something bright and cheery for a birthday and upgraded it for the inconvenience. It is still very early in your state so I did not want to call, but wanted your mother to have something beautiful for her special day. So disappointing during such a difficult time. I ordered flowers on a Friday to be delivered on Saturday to the family after the loss of a loved one. The flowers were not delivered and I was not notified of the change. I called the next morning and was assured the delivery would go out that day. It did - but not what I ordered. I ordered a simple elegant arrangement - the larger version of one of their pre-specified floral arrangements - this was not even an arrangement they had to "wing it" on - it was from their online options! What was delivered was a plant - A PLANT!! I understand the need at times for a similar substitution - but a plant does not replace the arrangement I ordered - not even close. I will be calling tomorrow to see how they will correct the problem. read more

I ordered flowers online for a friend that is having a hard time, for pick up the same day. Imagine my surprise when I show up to pick up my bouquet and the doors are locked and all the lights are off. I called the number and someone actually answered. Turns out I ordered the flowers for the wrong day. The manager came out to talk to me and made the arrangement on the spot. Everyone I spoke to was super friendly and helpful. I was really appreciative that they went out of their way (after hours!) to make sure I could make a good friend smile. I used to love Piccolo's florist. I believed them to be the best in Omaha, I have had great service with them in the past, but this past week I ordered a "Designer's choice green plant" for a hospitalized family friend and though the delivery was completed on the same day as ordering, the product delivered was not up to my expectations. I chose a Deluxe plant ($20 more than Standard) trying to guarantee a good result, but to no avail. The plant delivered was large and healthy, but so extremely blah, I was hoping to bring a little joy to our friend, but it was just a plant with no foil or ribbon, just a blah plant, delivered in a blah black plastic pot. I don't know who they have as "designers" over there now, but it was not "designed" in any way. It was very disappointing for the money I paid to end up with this result. I'm sad to say, I will not be using Piccolo's for my long-distance flower ordering any more in the future. read more

Ordered a casket spray a few days ago. I was assured it would be on time. I stressed that there was only a morning viewing followed by a service and burial. The arrangement arrived AFTER the viewing and while the service was going on. It was left by the door 20 feet from the casket. When the viewing started and the arrangement hadn't arrived I called Piccollo's and was put on hold for 10 minutes. I hung up and called back and someone else answered. They knew nothing about it and said she would take my number and have the owner call me. I hung up and went back to talking with other mourners. I see the owner sometimes refunds money and gets reviews changed. I don't want my $285 back- I want to warn people not to risk screwing up a one time deal. I worked with Jessica Pitt at Piccolo's for my wedding and I can't say enough good things about her and the work she did. She did our centerpieces, bouquets, and built an arch for our ceremony and everything was absolutely breathtaking. We used Piccolos for our wedding after searching at numerous florist shops. Their samples were beautiful and Frank was super easy to work with. We supplied them with our center piece jars and day filled them with flowers and place them at our venue. Our flowers were delivered on time and everything looked beautiful. The only thing I will say is that my actual bridal bouquets looked nothing like the picture I had provided to Jessica whom I was told would be working on it. My wedding bouquet had white roses when the only thing white in my bouquet should have been baby's breath. That was a big let down. I did try to reach out to her in an email letting her know about the problem and never received anything back.
