Who showed up to our wedding day was a woman with a very poor attitude, which was noted by our vendors as well as our wedding party. Jill's photos are nice, but nothing spectacular. She provided the same photo with many different filters which felt like a waste. Many of our photos with family members look very awkward due to placement, and large amounts of space between people. Jill always seemed to have something going on, which she absolutely brought with her to work. Rather unfortunate as someone who promises to capture the best day of your life, while radiating negativity and a piss poor mood. I was unfortunately pressured by Jill to write a stellar review prior to receiving our photos. She made me feel terrible stating that her business was in need of reviews as business had been slow. Super unprofessional, and makes you wonder how many of the 4-5 star reviews are actually accurate. Given that she still had ALL of our wedding photos, I felt that I had no choice. I tried to side step and wait until we had our actual photos but she basically harassed us and guilted us in to it. Jill should probably consider photographing something besides weddings, perhaps nature or animals. Feel free to roll the dice and give her a try, but hiring Jill as our photographer was single handedly the worst decision we made regarding our wedding. Heather Nicole met and exceeded all the expectations we had for a photographer on our wedding day. Let's start with the worry of whether or not we were going to click with our photographer. Especially for a wedding, your photographer and you as a couple have to click. They have to listen to what you want, write it down/remember, keep in touch throughout the planning process, get what your vision is, be able to make suggestions that go with that vision and make you feel like they'll get all the photos you want so that on your wedding day you don't even have to think about it. Heather Nicole definitely did that for us. After the initial email with her when we hadn't even officially hired her yet I could tell getting along with her and trusting her to do what we wanted would be a breeze. Heather is so sweet and personable and honest, I don't see how anyone could not get along with her. Once you work with her, you feel like you've known her forever and it's like working with an old friend. During all the emails and phone correspondence that we had you could tell that, even though she does this every day, she is genuinely happy for each couple individually and connects with each couple differently. She never made me feel like we were just another client. I remember one phone call in particular how excited she was for the surprises I had planned for my husband and wanted her to get good photos of. Again, it felt like I was talking to a friend about it. My husband and I were thrilled with all of our pictures, both our engagement and wedding photos.
