Just as others have mentioned, Christian never delivered on our agreed-upon contract, and I spent 2+ years chasing him without ever receiving my album or getting any reasonable explanation. The last communication I received was over 1 year ago, which claimed (just as multiple earlier emails had) that my album was just in the mail and should arrive shortly. Of course, it never did.

We strongly recommend NOT working with Christian Pleva. We had contracted Christian Pleva Images in summer 2018 to be the photographer for our wedding in October 2019. We also used Christian to take engagement photos for us in November 2018. Our initial meeting was to take our engagement photos, which we were arranging to fly from Texas to Boston to accomplish. Trying to confirm this appointment and meeting took much longer than we anticipated or appreciated, especially considering we were traveling such a long distance and weren't planning on traveling back to New England again that year. Christian eventually got in touch with us and explained that he had been in Seattle on a family trip looking at colleges for his son, which is more than reasonable and acceptable. What isn't reasonable or acceptable is the continued difficulty and frustration that we felt and endured in trying to communicate with Christian after the wedding was over and we were waiting for the deliverables from Christian's work. The package we selected and paid for in-full included 8 hours of his service at our wedding, as well as the editing of photographs taken and a full physical wedding album. The layout for this album was to be prepared by Christian, sent to us for approval, then sent for production and delivered to us after the wedding. The estimated amount of time given to us by Christian for receipt of the completed album was approximately 90 days after we received the edited digital photos, which were said to be delivered to us within a month. We did not receive our edited digital photos from Christian until late February 2020, 4 and a half months after the wedding, and have not received our album to date (August 2020). In most communication with Christian this year we have received no response, and when we do hear back he only offers apologies for the delay and a general promise that what we're waiting for will be ready soon. We have reached out to Christian many times to resolve this matter. In our most recent communication (sent via both text message and email) we gave Christian a deadline to complete the layout of the album (which we were awaiting to approve for production), and failing that we were seeking a refund for the portion of our payment associated with the album. This deadline has come and gone, and we now are only interested in receiving a refund from Christian for lack of delivery on a promised product.
