Pick-n-Pull is a junk yard so don't expect much other than a decent price on parts for a used car. Most of the cars are American, Chevy, GM, Buick, Ford, Dodge, Chrysler, etc. so don't expect to find parts for a European car very often. The website is pretty good and usually accurate in terms of locating a year, make, model and location of a vehicle so check it out before going www.PicknPull.com so you don't waste a trip. Just because the website says there is a vehicle there does not mean it will have the part you need, it's a gamble sometimes but you can save some money over Dealer prices for parts. It costs $2 to get in and you have to sign away all rights in case you hurt yourself which is normal. All vehicles are in the air sitting on rims which makes it easy to get at parts. The junk yard smells of oil and is dirty so dress accordingly and bring your own tools. They purchased another junk yard one exit North of Truman Road so if you don't find the part you need here just ask them for directions to the other one and drive 5 minutes North to check out the other location. There are NO Refunds, if you have a receipt and the part is marked you can exchange a part within a week so be careful you get the right part the first time!

Customer service sucks. You must wait inline for the cashier to finish with a departing customer just to get in. Always ALWAYS understaffed.

Bought 2 others for $6 to $7.00 each. Today 5/22/24 the manger with the pink or purple hair didn't even know what I had and made up a part which she call tyrod ends. Wanted to change me $38.00. I can get 4 brand new ones for $40.00 see picture. All 3 pick n pulls in Kansas City. The staff give deals to some. Others they make up prices for. If you don't know the freaking part, look it up. I passed on some shocks because the KCK store wanted to charge way too much for "USED" shocks. $125.00 for 2. I bought brand new ones for under $99.00. If I were you, don't waste your time with pick n pull, either of the 3 yards I'm Kansas City. I'm a tool kit member. I rarely get anything for a discount being a tool kit member. If you have to return something. You don't get your money back. They only give you store credit.and when you go in and don't have your recipe. NONE of the staff will look your purchase up on your membership because they are simply LAZY and smart a** with you the customer. Some even think it's funny when the customer gets pissed by the way they take advantage of " The Customer". So Pick n pull you lost a long time customer due to your RUDE staff and your outrageous prices on used parts.

I'm sure the staff deals with a difficult crowd so they are sticklers. The rules are pretty basic. If you want to exchange your part, not return, you have to have your receipt. Subject: Urgent Complaint Regarding Vehicle Purchase and Service Issues:To Whom It May Concerns…read more I am writing to formally address serious concerns regarding two vehicles I purchased from your business in February 2026. On February 13, 2026, I purchased my first vehicle for $5,500. During this transaction, I asked the salesperson, Scott, if there were any additional vehicles available, as I was also looking for a car for my daughter. Scott indicated that he would assist in finding another vehicle once I returned the first car for inspection the following day. After the inspection, Scott presented a Hyundai Elantra, which appeared to drive well at the time of purchase. However, approximately 30 days later, the engine failed completely, requiring the vehicle to be towed. Since April 6, 2026, I have been waiting for a replacement vehicle as previously discussed. Today, when I followed up, I spoke with Justin and was told to "get over it," and was also informed that the vehicle allegedly had over 3,000 additional miles in less than a month after purchase. I find this response unacceptable and dismissive given that I paid approximately $10,000 total for both vehicles. At this point, I am requesting a prompt resolution, either in the form of a suitable replacement vehicle or another appropriate remedy. I expect this matter to be taken seriously and addressed in a professional manner. Sincerely, Valerie Watson
