The staff are really friendly and helpful when you need them. On my last visit though, not a single staff member approached me or even acknowledged my existence. They were very busy though so I wasn't too put out by this. It just would've been nice to have someone around who could've directed me to the right shelf to find what I needed instead of having to wander around the whole pharmacy to find one thing.

The generic variety of the antibiotics they sell represents great value for money unlike some generic medicines you can buy at some other pharmacies that dissolve into your mouth before you even have a chance to swallow them; kind of giving you that murky, yucky feeling in your mouth. A chemist isn't a place you would want to frequent too frequently; however if I ever needed to go to the chemist again - for heavens sake not too soon if at all; this establishment would be my next destination without re-thinking my decision. You want confidence in pharmacies as they contribute to your recovery from a major or minor illness to some degree; and you want trust as well as you are handing over your private details to them in order to get your medicine dispensed. Additionally, it's located at a convenient and central location - Melbourne Central, which makes for needing to go to the chemist not a massive chore, but a day out instead. Customer Service: The staff is here is AMAZINGLY friendly. I spoke with a chemist regarding my issues and she was so helpful with recommending to me what I needed, especially since I was feeling pretty clueless. She explained to me the product and was happy to answer all of my questions. Not to mention Priceline's affordability, combined with the great staff makes for a great shopping experience! -1000 What I'm about to write is an extremely fair review…read morebased off the past two years or me and my families experiences. 1) I will start by pointing out that not all the front counter Ladies are terrible. Some of them are very nice and welcoming. I will clarify that maybe 4 out of 10 for example. 2) the rest of the front counter staff are absolutely rude, arrogant and very unwelcoming. They make you feel like you are just a number inconveniencing them. 3) I dislike the whole layout of the store. It's annoying, nothing is ever displayed properly for customers to see. There is minimal stock with no additional cheaper options to choose from. 4)The most overpriced Pharmacy I have ever been too. Just because it is Port Melbourne it does NOT give you the right to overcharge customers. I'm not going to compare your prices to Chemist Warehouse, because to be fair they buy in massive quantities so that's why they are so incredibly cheap, however compared to other corporate run or Local family run Pharmacies you are very overpriced. If someone doesn't have a Concession card then God help you. In 45 Years I have never seen a Chemist so expensive. 5) The Pharmacists. I am in my rights to say this. Your Pharmacists are the most uptight, arrogant, unwelcoming, rude, narcissistic group of people I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. Every single one of them are absolutely horrible and not even 1 percent nice. They all act above you like you are a peasant. Specifically the young Chinese female Pharmacist and the really really Old decrepit Pharmacist the one that walks around all superior and boss like and thinks she owns the place. (Apologies for sounding rude, but I have no nicer ways to describe them unfortunately), but yes. They are absolutely horrible and they should be pulled up for their actions immediately. If I owned a pharmacy I would not let them within 500kms of my establishment. 6) Not only is the Customer Service terrible, but the timing. Every single time you want to get a prescription for a family member or over the counter medications you have to wait minimum 20-25 minutes. Busy or not prescriptions do NOT take that long to dispense, but I suspect you take your time so that people stay in your store to and when they get restless enough they start browsing through your store to buy more things they don't need. What makes it so unbelievable is that there are almost 10 people working in a very small Pharmacy with almost 5 computers between them and they still can't dispense in a timely manner. Instead they all huddle up in a group and gossip and laugh whilst we are all standing there waiting. To the Owner. Please don't waste your time researching my family name so you can respond to me like you have most of your other reviews claiming that "I can't seem to find records of us dispensing your scripts" I have prescriptions dispensed for 5 of my family members and I personally get OTC medications. Just because my name won't come up in your system does not mean I did not attend your pharmacy and make this review up, because I assure you it is very real. We as customers have every right to make a complaint and leave a review, but instead you try to dismiss their reviews by saying that and finding it "weird" in your condescending tone. I will not allow you to belittle me and my review. This review isn't going anywhere. People must know of my experiences. They have a right. I will be making official complaints to the correct authorities regarding the conduct of your pharmacists and advising of the overcharging of Prescriptions non PBS and OTC, because it is absolutely ridiculous and am aware there is a law to how much you can legally charge for something like this.
