As a Christmas gift, I took my husband here on a Sunday morning to participate in the ladder Open Play competition ($20) while I hung around and watched with our infant. We all had a fun time! My husband really enjoyed the level of competition and sportsmanship. On the sidelines, everyone was friendly and there was ample space for my baby and I to spread out, play with toys, keep our stroller undisturbed, and walk around if she was fussy. Bathrooms were spacious enough to bring the stroller in one stall with me and there was a changing table. Loved how family friendly it was! My only qualms are 1) the website is not very clear on directions to participate in any competition format. I got the scoop when I called so it was fine, but wording could be better and 2) I'm not sure "food" should be in the name here as I don't think any was for sale besides chips. Totally fine to be a pickleball joint with a bar, just felt a little misleading with the name. All's to say, we will absolutely be back! read more

Pickleball is a new fad sport that is sweeping the nation and I decided to check it out. Think of a cross between tennis, badminton and ping pong. I went for a special introductory event and the instructors were very patient and informative. This building, that used to house an appliance store, now houses 8 full size courts plus a bar that also serves bar type food. Good way to try out something new. read more

Pickleball beginner and really loving it so we've tried to search out indoor courts during cold weather. This one has plenty of courts, at 7pm on a Saturday it was full and luckily we had already made a reservation. I would recommend making one if it's during a busy time as it seems to get crowded. The bar is nice although you can only have food and drinks by the table which makes sense as you don't want to spill on the court. I appreciate that they require vaccinations and support them keeping everyone safe. The fees are moderate, I don't really have anything to compare them to but they're reasonable for a group of 4. The only thing that I want to comment on and I'm not sure if my eyes were just sensitive but the lighting in there is very bright. Like almost can't see the ball if it gets hit up towards the lights, not sure if anyone else shares that opinion though. Fun indoor pickleball courts overall! read more

This place is SO FUN & inviting! Even if you've never played, they offer Intro class & a separate Skills class for only $25 (Two for one). Open play during the week is only $10. Much cheaper than a gym, you burn some calories and meet fun people. Lots of ways for beginners to get involved, make friends, have a cocktail and even watch a big sporting event on one of their many big screens. New management there has made all the difference! read more

Great indoor alternative for pickleball but too expensive for both the pickleball and the bar. Will not return. Found a cheaper alternative.

I only have two critiques. 1. The lights were a bit much when trying to look up for a flying neon ball but oh well 2. I am simply confused as to why this place has the term "food pub" in its name when they very much do not serve food. Maybe it's coming eventually? I don't know. My friends and I had a blast playing during the $5 promo late weeknight deal, had some beers and ordered in pizza, and even played some cornhole while we waited. The bartender and sole worker was super nice and cool. And he played some good music (assuming it was his). I'm sure I'll be back. Now I know to BYOS (bring your own snack). read more

This place has much potential but several things are ran very poorly. We do enjoy coming here when it's too hot/cold to play outside. Frankly this is the only indoor option to play Pickleball so we feel like it's our only choice. My husband and brother played a league here for $150/ person for 6 weeks - with "playoffs" At the end. Online it says playoffs were best 2 Out of 3 matches. They showed up to playoffs and the said oh never mind you only get to play for 18 minutes if you lose your done. The whole league was very poorly ran. My husband and brother we scheduled to play at the same time on two courts every single week. And the scores from their matches we completely wrong online. They won every match and online it said they lost most of them. We asked several times and multiple people for this to be fixed, as this would affect who they play in playoffs. Each time they blew it off acting like they didn't know how to change it or care to fix it. For how much money the league was you would think calls would be supplied but you had to bring your own. Courts are not well maintained. Very dirty/dusty. read more

YOU CANNOT CANCEL OR CHANGE A RESERVATION. I went to play P.B. here twice and made reservations for a court but then realized I had a conflict. As far as they are concerned - too bad for me. Don't ever think you can change a reservation because you can't. I could not change/cancel the reservation (5 days in advance) on their website, I could not change/cancel the reservation by phone - no answer and no one ever called back. I did finally speak to an employee at the front desk - guess what even they cannot change or cancel a reservation. OH, and you have to pay in advance, so they just stole $40 from me. I spent 45 minutes trying to solve this - I waited hours for someone to call back = NOTHING. So, unless you are absolutely sure DON'T MAKE A RESERVATION HERE. read more

Visiting from Austin with my grown kids, I booked a court easily online. We played, had mixed drinks with the salads we'd packed, and I even picked up a private lesson. I saw Andrew giving a free beginner lesson & asked him if he had time for a private lesson after. He fixed my serve in the first 10 min, perfected my grip, volleys, and dinks. My kids played ping ping during my lesson. Free ice water & coffee. I can't imagine a better experience. read more

First time playing here. Easy sign up process - and Stephane gladly answered all of our newbie question, thanks. The courts and net were in great shape. Our group really enjoyed our two hours of play. The only small negative was how loud it got with players on both side of us. We'll definitely be back. I tried to work with the owner of this establishment for months-rather than 'air my grievances' via a review. Once you meet Sam, you'll understand why this review is 2 stars. He is a pickleball player first. That man loves the damn game. His business practices are secondary to his love of the game. Back story: A small group of friends started going to the pub in September 2022. There were six to 12 of us who would rent court #1 for two hours every Sunday. While there we would frequent the bar and generally have a super time. The bartender, Geronimo, was super fun and friendly! HE WOULD GET A 5/5 REVIEW!! When asked, our party would join the drop in players to fill a court. If a court was empty, with permission (!), we would play on an open court. In May, the owner made an off-handed remark to our party because we were playing (with permission!) on an empty court. He said we were "stealing." The next week, I spoke with Sam and we came to a friendly agreement: even though he preferred large groups to rent multiple courts, our group could continue to rent one court. He apologized for making a comment to us. We moved forward. Until 6/25/23 - he came to our group and said, "you brought your peanut gallery" to me as he was inviting us to join his open play courts. To add to that, the bar manager informed me that the scheduling and premier member practices that we have used, since September, were incorrectly applied - due to lack of employee training. Our group that plays regularly really liked the set up at Pickleball food pub for the indoor play but didn't like how things wasn't swept or vacuumed up on the courts and off. Especially on the courts. Seeing all the dust balls rolling around on the court . Some of our balls coming up with dust balls all over them. One of our friends fell and landing on the court she was covered with dirt and dust balls. Maybe if the staff and or owners took the time to sweep and vacuum up all the crumbs and dust balls all over the place this would feel a better experience. read more

Terrible service, would not let me book 2 courts for 15 people. Owner wanted me to book at least 4. After trying to explain that I only needed two courts and that my group would rotate in and out, the owner was completely unreasonable and would only allow me to book 4. This place is great! Court prices are affordable and it's easy to make reservations. The staff is friendly and they have equipment to rent if you don't own paddles. The owner gave my boyfriend and I some on the fly lessons. I am hooked and looking forward to coming back. read more

It started out pretty good but has really gone downhill. Very dingy, dirty tables, dust bunnies everywhere. Last week Andrew was vacuuming the court next to ours so I asked him if he could do ours next -- the entire net area was full of dirt. He was very rude, just said No I'm busy here and proceeded to vacuum under the picnic tables instead. Then he put the vacuum away and started playing pball! Also they have almost doubled the price for next year. No longer worth buying a membership. read more

Played here yesterday for the first time. The facility is set up very nice. Considering the price it needs to be CLEANER! Lots of dust everywhere & just didn't appear to be clean.
