So disappointed in this place. Went to see a friends band for a special event and I prepaid online for 4 people and a table as a surprise and my daughter did the same (paid for 4 tix and a table) also as a nice surprise. Tried to tell the person at the door and was told to call the manager. Called manager multiple times and then asked to speak with someone else. Long story longer -- never heard back. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Had to ask the ppl sitting at our "reserved" table to move and they ran to management to complain. Our "other" table was also full of ppl. Waitress never acknowledged us but served other tables. Won't be back and telling everyone about our experience. read more

Cheers, Northglenn. Wow! Where do I start? The cover charge was much too high for the quality of the 2 bands that I saw ($15.00/person). The venue sound level was much too loud for the amount of people (maybe 30) in attendance on 7-18-26. A professional sound technician would have known this! I had to put in ear plugs just to survive it! The price for a beer in a plastic cup was much too high! The beer was not as cold as it should have been! It should be between 36 - 38 degrees Fahrenheit. Is there a problem with the cooler? The bar was not well stocked! The table that we sat at was sticky! No one cares enough to clean things up? We sat at that table for several hours and no one stopped by to ask if we would like anything from the bar, so we had to get our drinks ourselves. I did see at least two waitresses serving tables close to the dance floor! Were we not important enough to have a waitress? I witnessed door men/women allowing their friends into the bar without charging them a cover! No, they didn't have wristbands. That's fair ... right? I witnessed bar staff drinking ... probably not a good business practice! The men's room clearly hasn't been THOROUGHLY cleaned in some time as the smell of urine was intense!!! The general cleanliness of the venue was lacking and if it is this bad at front of house, how bad is it in the kitchen? I like to add any positives that I see when giving a review ... just to be fair. The facility has been upgraded over the years with relocation of the sound booth, a MUCH better sound system, new stage lighting and new seating where the old sound booth used to be. With that said, Rob and Lori should reconsider the current state of their business! I remember Friday and Saturday nights at Cheers when it was standing room only, GREAT music and smiling faces!!!! Different bartenders charge you different prices for the same thing. They scam you so watch out if you come here! It's also pretty dirty but that's to be expected at a place like this. read more

Weird place, seemed like everyone was drunk and there was a lot going on. Pool and darts and cheap drinks. People repeatedly came right up and talked to us as if they all knew our name (it is Cheers, after all). That said, the drunk guy next to us got belligerent with my buddy (who was maybe 3X his size so no worries) and the bartendress gave me a dirty glass. Was extra weird because I had ordered their fanciest whiskey (nothing special, their selection is terrible). Either way, not my kind of place but not boring either. There was even some sort of police incident, a cop was talking to a car outside and then some people inside the bar (in a backroom) for awhile, then left in a hurry. Dive bar. read more

Been going to this bar almost every day for almost 2 years . I love playing free bar poker here. I win cash and bar tabs weekly. People are friendly and the atmosphere is laid back. The jukebox can occasionally be loud. Big deal. The food is decent bar food like chicken wings and Philly cheesesteaks. If you don't like this bar or have problems with anyone in there , it's probably because you are a jerk with personal problems or are too much of a snob to enjoy this fun dive bar. :) read more

Been here on multiple occasions. This bar will charge $5-15 for a cover charge. I think it's the door guy that may make his own charge. Definitely not worth it. It's a dive which is great but not with a cover charge. read more

I was somewhat apprehensive about coming here after reading some previous reviews, but a friend's band was playing, so I made the trek. I LOVED this place! The stage advertises Fireball :) The sound guy was great. The bartenders and bouncer were quite cheerful, even though one may or may not be a vampire. The house tequila wasn't bad, although I do wonder if perhaps they water the booze. The drinks (tequila on the rocks) were pretty small, although not a bad thing since I had to drive home. I was surprised that I wasn't the slightest bit buzzed after I switched to a different tequila, even before I drank two glasses of water. I had a great time. I love dive bars, and this is a fun one :) I'll look forward to going back if my friend's band plays there again. read more

Love this bar. Many high caliber bands, mostly heavy metal and heavy metal tribute bands play music here on weekends. They have a great sound setup and a phenomenal light show during performances. The bartenders and bouncers have always been very friendly to me. I'm personally glad there's a place I can see good rock music acts so close to home here in Northglenn. read more

During the past few years the bar has held the annual battle of the bands that has surpassed in my opinion the best battles that radio station kbpi held up until the day they crowned their final winner in Lola Black. read more

Probably my favorite bar in Adams County. The owner is constantly improving the place as it is far better than the bars that resided there before. Dart leagues, and amazing food including 5 star fish n chips. I would only give it 4 stars instead of 5 because I assume not everyone likes loud/heavy music, and that is what happens there every weekend. If you do like that sort of thing, including supporting the local scene, this is the place. Rude bartenders. I couldn't pay my tab so when I asked if I could leave my card and ID there while I go get some more money they threatened to call the police. My friend finally agreed to pay but even after that they kicked us out! Will not be returning. Plus, there were pool balls missing. read more

This is a fun local dive bar that has a great owner and a string of lousy sound guys. I've seen vocal bands with way too much instrumentation in the mix, and instrumental bands with microphone cables inexplicably strung out across the stage like an overly-amorous octopus. The food is pretty decent for bar food, and the menu has some good options on it. They're also always running one drink special or another, so it's worth it to ask your bartender what's up. They have darts and pool tables and all the other bar staples (i.e., Golden Tee), and a decent stage for bands to have problems with the sound guy on. The last time I was there, there were three bands with an organizer that was MCing the event and the sound guy is apparently so enamored with his own voice that he decided to MC the whole thing, too (or at least try). So, to summate, good food, great owner, decent staff. Great bar. Decent venue if they could get a sound guy that was worth the air time he takes up during sound checks muttering and joking to nobody in particular. read more

Awful, awful, awful. I will never go back here. Place looks dumpy inside...and it is dumpy. Service was VERY slow...she was too busy talking with her regulars, and then to get flat beer. The beer was horrible...no bubbles...just plain flat. Went to listen to a band and left after one flat beer. Just horrible. read more

Went here to enjoy my birthday celebration a few Saturday nights ago. A friend of a friend owns the bar and another friend told me the bands are great. Didn't eat anything but the band was fantastic, they did have a bathroom malfunction but not the first bar I have went to that didn't happen to. Heard the baked potato bar during the Bronco game was great. All in all, is kind of a "divish" place but will go back. read more

A spacious bar with Pool tables, and a row of professional looking dart boards. I even saw some card tables. This bar has a great vibe, and on the night we were there, great music. The Fish and chips my husband and I ate were delicious, and as good as GBs Fish and Chips. The Manager (Rob or Bob?) seems a very friendly guy. All in all a great night out, and the next time we are in the Thornton area we will drop in for a drink or two, and of course the fish and chips lol read more

Last night we went here for a local show and instead of having a great time it ended in an awful experience. The sound guy was very unprofessional and rude and actually kicked a band off stage for sound checking during his dj time. I have never seen someone literally scream and swear at a band for sound checking and in front of customers as well. All I have to say is, very rude staff. Disrespectful. We will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone. read more

So most of these reviews are old. This bar actually got 30% better in the past yr or so. I only go there about 4 times a yr though. I usually have a good time. I have never had a bad experience in any way. The bands are better than my local bars. I don't eat there. I like the light show a lot. Sound is usually good to average. It's more of a rock club on weekends than a dive bar. I would recommend it for a show. read more
