While at a tournament, i heard hussman get asked by a mom 'the team keeps losing. what's going on w the team?' He pointed his finger at the players and listed their faults. It was shameful. Fyi, there's really no speak on college stuff. The college that they hv any connection to is the director's former college. You should call and ask and decide for yourself/kid. In the end, what's important is that they stretch the players. I'm not concerned about falling into line and hv the facade that everything's okay. Sportime volleyball needs to do better.

I called the front desk and the staff were able to fit me in for a time slot that had openings. It's been a hot minute since I've been on Long Island; I had forgotten how deep Melville actually was...lol Literally on the border of Nassau and Suffolk. This location had a large parking lot that was shared with the other businesses adjacent. Inside, the courts feel pretty big, with plenty of room on the sides and back to maneuver and run for difficult shots. Court surfaces are smooth and well maintained and the facilities are very clean. Ceiling height was adequate for most lobs to be successful. People I played with were mostly friendly and competitive. One thing I was not expecting was how old the demographic here is; my estimate, the average age in that time slot I played in was 55-60. Nevertheless, this was a nice facility to play at. I don't know if I'll ever go back though because it's so far out of the way coming from Queens.

Tommy Lasorda was and still is my favorite skipper of all time. He was old school and would throw tantrums at the umpires and opposing players too! His rants are classics. I want to give a shout out to Mike, the assistant director of this facility. I met Mike in the parking lot when I stopped by to check out the facility. Mike explained to me the history of this ballpark and how Tommy was associated. It's also cool to know that Mike Piazza is involved in the activities here. Piazza was a fan favorites during days as a Dodger and also as a Met. Director Mike invited me to walk around the facility even though it's off season. I would love to come back and check out the tournaments that are played here during baseball season.

Not only was he bullied , but others were as well. Due to this, my grandson did not want to return on Friday. We received a "sorry" and were told that the team had been spoken to about this. I see that one of their "rules" is no bullying. That's great, but obviously since this did not stop after one day, that there was little or no enforcement.

We know which are the good courts and which courts have some hiccups, we come here so often know where the dead spots are on certain courts but with all that the prices at night for private courts cant be beat. One of my friends had a bad experience recently and I'm glad the owners took her experience into consideration and addressed the issue pertaining that specific employee. (if you scroll through all the bad reviews on google, its always about that one specific employee.) This place has become so popular that it is always booked out 2 weeks in advance. Looking forward to seeing how this place continues to grow and improve. Love the majority of the courts here especially their newer ones court 11&12. It has a little more privacy and prevents balls from flying all over into other peoples courts and vice versa. Some courts especially court 2 is less desirable in my opinion, it's dark and hard to focus or see the ball. Some courts do have water dripping from ceiling during rainy/ snowy days but it's not significant enough to become a hazard. Appreciate that they now have 24 hour options available. All of their staff are amazing except the one senile old guy, he's just miserable. (IYKYK) We come here regularly and seeing him just ruins your day/mood. Overall good courts with no dead bounces, adequate overhead space and lighting and clean bathrooms. There's parking to the side of the building (across the street) and in the back, however on snowy days it is a dangerous trek.

They have open play that you can sign up for based on skill level as well as court rentals. Went to a social open play where 20 people split 4 pickleball courts and the games went smoothly and there was not a lot of down time between games. Open play was a little confusing at first but people there will let you know how the randomized teaming-up works so it prevents a "dominant team" from playing together the whole time. In addition to the facility having everything you would want in terms of pickleball courts, what makes the open plays really fun is the crowd. Everyone was really friendly and there was no negative body language no matter what the score is, who your partner was, or who the opponents were. Everyone was there to play some pickleball and have a good time.

The indoor was drained twice for repairs in less than 3 months. Pool hours were cut to 12-4! Even on weekends! We couldn't enjoy the pool after work. Towels were limited to one per person and asking for an extra towel literally got you yelled at. Chairs haven't been cleaned in years so I'm covering my chair! I was told by one of the kids that guards there that they blamed it on maintenance but they didn't want to hire! They were always short staffed but didn't want to pay people. Overall this club has taken a nose dive and put profit over quality. We pay a lot to be members with no regard. The other locations are much better. Stay away from this one!
