Audiences love interacting with the characters and trying to figure out who dunnit! I found this winery by chance. I was going to a tea party at a nearby lavender farm and drove by…read morethe winery and gave it a look. The property was beautiful. As I drove down the driveway toward the tasting room, I took in all of the gardens and the grapes that were growing. When I got there I walked along a path that was lined with greenery and flowers. When I got inside, I was greeted by the owner Tony. Tony was lovely and so helpful, he explained the different wines, and they were clearly marked for sweetness level or for how dry they were on the sheet where you chose your samples. I did choose four samples to try, and I really liked one of them. I am more of a sweet wine gal, and I have been trying to branch out a little bit, but I'm just not there yet. And talking to Tony I found out that his son is also in the wine business and he is in the wine business in California. Tony also sources some of his grapes from California. I also found out that he has three Airbnb's on this property one is over the tasting room and then two are at the front of the property. It was so beautiful there and I ended up bringing a couple of bottles of wine home. I also ate my lunch there, but they do not have a food license so I picked some local cheese that they had in a refrigerator and some summer sausage from a sausage maker in Cincinnati and he handed me a knife and cutting board so I made my own charcuterie and it worked out perfectly. There were so many lovely places to sit outside and have my lunch but it was about 90° and not much breeze so I ended up staying in. If I am ever in this part of Kentucky again, I will stop for another late lunch and wine tasting! Kudos to Tony he did a wonderful job.

The theater is not very large, but it is always entertaining to visit whatever show they are presenting, especially plays that feature locals. I've been to it several times and always enjoy myself. They always offer seasonal shows for the holidays, and serve as a venue for "The Shows of Second Saturday" each month, which is a series of concerts featuring a variety of music styles. They occasionally use the theater to show old movies as well. If you happen to be in town when the theater is presenting something, it is well worth a visit.

We approached the amphitheater area and encountered many food vendors as well as merch shops. Restrooms were a 6/10 for being fairly well maintained and stocked; however, one of the four stalls in the ladies room was out of order. There is also a family restroom available around the corner of the building that is a little known secret option (brief to no wait). Ampitheater is multi-tiered grass and walkway levels with great sight lines to the stage. Wide aisles with some steps to navigate to reach the lower levels. Handicap accessible top row. We found seating about 7 rows up from the stage and pleased with sound system and views. Easy to navigate to the stage area to dance. We exited midway through the last song in the final set and had no issues getting out of the parking lot. Walkways are well lit. It's about 2 miles long and you tune into their radio station. The lights, mostly, go with the music. A lot of areas were lackluster compare to the 'better' parts. You turn your lights off and drive through and enjoy the music and lights. Some areas were extremely awesome! Some pictures attached but don't do it justice with the moving lights and music. It's awesome that they are out here on the holidays working for us to enjoy the show. Much love for them on that! Docked a star because I think some areas could have had some better upkeep. (Lights torn down here and there) Some areas were understandably 'fillers' and some parts didn't make a ton of sense... But overall was really awesome.
