Plenty of parking available, lovely landscaping and accent touches at every turn. Buie Barn owners provide a list of suggested caterers, photographers, florist, etc, but merely as a helpful guide. Additionally, the bridal party was able to get ready in their spacious guest house equipped with a full kitchen, full bath ( with towels, soaps, wash clothes, personal care items) one half bath, loft area and plenty of seating. The lobby area was decorated well for Christmas, but is very dark and dreary. Reception is always welcoming you when you walk in and often times people were there to open the door for you. There is a restaurant (Ocean 80) right in the lobby and the swimming pool is right outside the restaurant. We didn't use either one, but they both looked nice. We had an ocean view room on the top floor and the view was awesome. The room was very nice, with a king size bed, a nice separate living area, a large shower with the best water pressure (opposed to the sinks which barely had any), and a balcony with comfortable chairs look right at the pool, the dunes and lastly the ocean. Super nice!!!!! The staff is always friendly, and the person that helped get our beach chairs and umbrella was extremely nice. My biggest issue is COVID related. No staff are wearing masks, or even having plexi glass in front of check in. People pile into elevators with you, when common sense tells you it's not a good idea. I am sick of wearing masks too, but also want to keep myself protected as well as not spread something I may have and am not even aware. So frustrating.

My husband and I didn't really have any idea what we wanted to serve at our wedding, but Sara helped us put together an amazing menu! We received compliments on the food all night long, both nights. We had tomato chicken and pulled pork for our rehearsal, and crab cakes, beef tenderloin, and breaded chicken for our reception.
