If you love Salty Turtle, you'll love The Cove even more!…read more The Cove is a cocktail bar/event space that is owned by Salty Turtle. They carry a few of their beers to serve as well as wine and liquor. Ever wish you were having a cocktail at Salty Turtle while your partner was enjoying a beer? Well now you can! Hit up the cove and you can have the best of both worlds with no one compromising. The Cove is a "club" so you'll need to sign up for a membership at the bar before you can enjoy some drinks, but don't worry it's free to join! We enjoy coming here on Wednesday nights to play trivia with friends that is hosted by Meeser Eddie. My favorite drink to sip on when coming here is probably the spicy margarita. It's not on the printed menu, but you ask and your wish shall be granted! On Wednesdays they also offer $15 bottles of Prosecco. Yes you read that right $15 for a BOTTLE of Prosecco. Nothing beats coming to play trivia with friends and sharing a great bottle together. The staff here is always so friendly, it's clean, the service is fast & the cove itself provides excellent vibes. We love the cove & salty turtle so the hardest decision is usually choosing which one to go to... and sometimes we just hit up both!!

Which it is but it is also open a few days a week, one of which being on Wednesday nights at 6:00pm for trivia. The place is smaller but very cozy. The decor inside is super cute and the drinks are great. We got a tequila drink that looked beautiful and tasted very good. They also have beer and wine. Super cool place to check out and really excited for an upcoming event I am going to at their location too!

My girls and I felt pampered and relaxed in our separate and spacious area :) My wedding ceremony was supposed to be outside by the pond in the beautiful green pasture, bright white fences and the covered bridge in the background- I was so excited about it! Due to weather we had to move the ceremony inside the barn. The main 'barn' space was easy to transform from a structured ceremony space to a relaxed and open reception party. Michelle Cornell was an amazing wedding coordinator- organized and kept everything on schedule and I didn't have to worry about anything on my special day! Hal was an entertaining and engaging MC- we got so many comments from our guests about how beautiful and fun our event was!

The lush greenery and natural surroundings provide a tranquil and romantic setting that is perfect for exchanging vows and celebrating with loved ones. One of the standout features of this venue is the magnificent barn that has been transformed into a luxurious and chic space. The interior is beautifully designed with rustic wooden beams and elegant lighting, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The barn has ample space to accommodate a large number of guests and offers a flexible layout to suit any wedding theme or style. In addition to the barn, the property offers numerous outdoor spaces to host different parts of the wedding day, such as a waterfront ceremony, cocktail hour on the expansive lawn, and dinner under the stars.

We ordered the Topsail Punch, but it honestly just tasted like colored water--not enjoyable at all. We decided to stick with appetizers after realizing the menu was completely different (and much more limited) than what we saw online. First, they stopped serving hushpuppies! WHAT. And the menu overall has changed and is just much more limited. Not many healthful options either. I ended up doing the steam pot, which was pretty good overall, but man the service was SO SLOW. The parking situation also makes no sense, it's like they don't want business unless you're staying in the hotel now, even though it wasn't very busy up there so that can't be the case. There are now signs everywhere saying you'll get towed without a Regis permit. I had parked in the main lot many times to come here, so I took a chance and asked the hostess (who was decked out in full goth gear and hair covering her entire face like a shih tzu so you couldn't tell if she was even paying attention to you) how to make sure I wouldn't be towed. She acted like she had no idea what I was talking about and shrugged and walked away. Very rude. Luckily, I didn't get towed, but would it be that hard for them to have a parking section marked for restaurant patrons or something?

The real joy was the country store that Heather Burke has put together. Everything is so tastefully assembled, homemade, and delicious. They have home brewed beer (and lots of craft selections) fresh baked cakes and pastries (including gluten free), sandwiches, salads, ice cream and a super quaint gift store. We sat in the luncheon area inside, but there were picnic tables outside as well. We missed the bluegrass festival but if we can we'd love to make the Octoberfest. I highly recommend this place for those looking for a farm to table meal, good beer, or tasteful country store excursion.

Locals will remember this location as the former Crooked Lotus, but is now a comfy, cozy adjustment into a well stocked cocktail bar. The staff is great (ask for Sara) and the menu is a simple, yet creative blend of simple favorites and original recipes. The ambience is a soft, warm setting with a random but fun mix of playlist music and live performances. Check the placard on stage for the schedule. The liquor selection isn't the world's biggest, but it is stocked with some good, above average choices that non-beginners will appreciate. There is also a good selection of wine, as well as some limited tap options (call ahead to confirm taps are flowing. Seasonal traffic impacts the flow). Whether it's a private affair, celebration of sorts, one-on-one meetings, or catching a breath after a long stretch, Centerfire is a must stop for anyone. The prices are reasonable and the quality stands above the local average of the area. Enjoy!
