Owner Ray Baca, has created a dream space for any event planner. The walls are original historic brick, and the furnishing is clean and modern. My favorite feature is the raw feel; this space can easily be outfitted to fit any event. The venue is also unique because of the kitchen and easy setup space for catering. You will not find another venue of this caliber with this unique setup anywhere is downtown Wilmington. The central location is also wonderful if the weddings located in downtown Wilmington. I am using this venue to host a business owner's info session. Mr. Baca has been a pleasure to work with and I hope to host other events here in the future. They have made a good start, but need many more restaurants. We saw the backs of restaurants with the entrances on Front Street. The sights were too industrialized for me. The actual boardwalk itself needed repair in places. There were a lot of cranes and building going on. I hope that this is the start of new improvements so that next time I won't be disappointed. We walked about a mile of the two miles. Sights included the battleship, the bridge, hotels and some boats going by. There weren't very many people. I think we only passed two others during our whole walk. One we left the riverfront area and went on to Front Street we saw more action, restaurants and shops. I wish there were a more secluded area we could choose to sit in to hear each other.
