They don't stock many of the stone products and each time you order, they have to check the latest…read moreprices and it can be weeks for delivery. i had to put in two orders for cultured stone within a few months and one delivery was within 2 weeks, the second was 3+ weeks and there was a 30 cent per sq foot fee added for the higher costs of shipping when clearly gas prices were down, not up. I would not have been as bothered by this if the shipping was expedited, but the manufacturer was clearly waiting to fill a truck before shipping the material anyway. GTS seems a small player and apparently does not have the clout with manufacturers to counter this behavior. in general from a customer service perspective, during all of this they underwhelmed with a lack of call backs and follow up, All this said, if they are the only local supplier of a particular manufacturer's product, and that's the one you like, you have to deal with it.

Deceptive return policy. Tried to return 5 Gallon paver sealer yesterday. We were at the end of the project and needed a few pieces of metal roofing asap to avoid liquidated damages. ABC assured me we can get it by a certain date. They tried to expedite. They understood the severity. I gave the manager my CC info as he asked and said he would charge the card later (I told him he can now, but he said it's fine... later). I had drove there to give them the card info in the first place along with the tax-exempt cert. I checked in the following week, two days prior to when I should receive it. They said "oh, we never charged your card", we'll order it when you give us the card payment again. It was like no big deal to them even when I explained how bad this is...., even though they understood when I initially ordered. They didn't check in... to tell me they misplace my CC info. It was a good thing I checked in and called them when I did. No, sorry..., nothing... Now, I pay twice the orders cost per day in liquidated damages till I get it installed. Very bad experience...
