After the company hired by my son's school botched his photos, we scheduled a free shooting with Brian's 'Picture Day Studio.' The results were AMAZING. The photographer was already capturing great moments before we even noticed he was shooting. This company is awful. We rescheduled my son's pictures because of COVID (as we were supposed to, on their website) and never received confirmation. The photographer's mask kept slipping down over his mouth, totally unsafe. We ordered and paid for prints/pictures but we never got them. When I contacted the company to ask what was going on, they never responded. read more

Pros: They did a great job on capturing my child's school picture; good quality; free class picture; Lisa went above and beyond to fix the issues with my order (after enough complaining) Cons: I did not receive my complete order; the first customer service rep I talked to was not very sensitive to the issue and would take days to respond; Empty promises from customer service rep; only 1 pose offered I was between 3 and 4 stars but at the end of the day the squeaky wheel gets the grease. For whatever reason, I was missing a few pictures from my order and was told to reach out to Picture Day directly. I explained to the rep that I needed them before Thanksgiving (which gave them 12 days) and he ensured would be "expedited." Fast forward 12 days--never happened! No follow-up from said rep. My husband called and after several attempts finally got in touch with Lisa. She was genuinely apologetic about the issues that we experienced and offered to overnight the pictures. On top of that, to fall in line with their satisfaction guarantee, she refunded a portion of the order which I did not expect! Overall, we are happy with the pictures and the care/attention that was given to us once we called. I would NOT suggest going through email to avoid the back & forth (8 emails in the chain). read more

Somehow, these guys managed to capture a perfect natural smile on my daughter's face...yay! That is no small feat and shows a photogs talent. If you can get them to smile for real, not the stiff smile for a picture smile or the I don't want to show my teeth smile and then manage to capture it with the camera, that's gold! My child's school has been using this company for a few years now & we couldn't be happier! It is not easy to capture a child smiling naturally, let alone 2 children. Since they also do sibling pics, we have been able to get pics of both my children together, which is really nice to give out to family. As far as school pics go, this company has provided the best experience! I love the pics so much that I plan on calling them for an appointment when I am ready to take family portraits. In addition, when some of our photo packages got misplaced at the school, they went out of their way to rectify the situation. The Picture Day folks could not be nicer! My children had had their head shots taken by Picture Day when they were preschoolers at LPP--well over a decade ago. Some of these pictures are the best shots I have of them at that age, and are framed around my house. Now my oldest is graduating from high school, and I wanted to include some of these photos in his senior yearbook ad. I only have hard copies, and long since lost most of the invoices, but I reached out to Picture Day in the hopes that they could unearth them and send me the digital copies. This was no easy task, but Lisa and Nathan were phenomenal--they went above and beyond to help me hunt down these photos from their archives, given very little information and with a time crunch during one of their busiest seasons. I could not be more grateful for their efforts and to finally have the digital copies of these treasures in my possession. Where do I even begin picture day photographers have to be super blind. This is the second time that they get a simple portrait done incorrectly. First time they sent me one proof of my daughters picture with her eyes half close, really you couldn't catch that her eyes where half closed? And you had some nerve to send me the proof like such! Second time my daughters sleeve is up and the other one is down, now call me crazy but as a photographer those are things you need to catch before embarrassing yourself and sending proofs, well at least a good photographer would see that! Clearly there are some real amateurs or lazy people who simply only care to get in and get out. As a parent you look forward to getting good pictures with this company you get nothing but pure disappointment. read more

I worked with Picture Day for our school's 2017-18 yearbook and we have had an incredible experience. The staff responds to questions almost immediately and the website, while a bit slow at times, has a lot of capabilities. There was a small glitch from the printer on our book, but the folks at Picture Day gave us very reasonable options, including an offer to re-print at no cost. In response to Brian's (from picture day) comment to my review. I know an email was sent to me before the session, I do say that in my review, the problem though is that you NEVER mention the $350 for the whole gallery. I just took a look at the email again, yes, affordable prints and products but nothing about the gallery price. What's so hard about saying in the price list, you will get x pictures for 350? Because all the prints and products are adicional. Plus, yes, you do put pressure on your customers because if you decide right away that you want the whole gallery it is 250, otherwise, 350 ( after you see them) or 100 per image which frankly seems ridiculous. I also see you are questioning my decision, yes, I did what any rational person who values their time ( we were invested at that point) would have done, getting the 250 value. Again, I would have liked to know all this in advance, the fact that I ended up getting the gallery does not mean I did not feel disappointed. Yo think you are off the hook because you offer a refund of the initial 50 dollars but time is also valuable and the whole situation was annoying. We have busy lives and transparency is highly valuable. You are the one running a business ergo it is your responsibility customers are clear about what they are getting into, if there is any doubt it is not on us, it is on you read more

What an incredible find this place is! I scheduled a last-minute sitting when my parents were in town for Thanksgiving, and ended up corralling 2 grandparents, 1 little girl, 2 parents and a DOG for a portrait. No problem, according to Brian at Picture Day. I was skeptical, the grandparents were nervous, the kid and dog were going nuts, but somehow the photos turned out FANTASTIC! Seriously, we all loved them so much we ordered way more than we planned. Couldn't help ourselves - they're absolutely priceless. Brian was funny, friendly, calm, goofy, accommodating - anything to put us all at ease and get the memorable shots.
