It took me more than 8 hours to look at all of them. So many of the photos are breathtakingly beautiful. The photos Laura took beforehand came out really well. The shots she found around the Palmer House looked just great. I can't even believe some of them are me :). And the shots of Alex, I've decided to frame and display prominently on my office desk. He's lookin' sharp! The photos of the ceremony really capture the size of the Shedd Aquarium and the dreaminess of having a wedding ceremony at an unconventional location like the dolphin tank at the Shedd. The entire ceremony and reception took place at night, but both Laura and Erchel worked well with the low lighting. Favs: Laura nailed a shot of Alex's reaction to my surprise wedding gift. I got his favorite band to record a DVD of his favorite song as our first dance. She captured THE moment where Alex realized what was going and smiled, pointed, and blurted out at me "You're very sneaky!" Erchel captured some EPIC shots from the dance floor, including one of me and Alex singing Journey like we were at a karaoke bar. In short, I got everything I asked for and I'm a really happy kid.

I really liked what I saw and contacted Laura. Unfortunately, she was booked, but one of the other photographers with her team, Charis, was available. Laura sent me over a sample of a wedding she shot and it was gorgeous! I booked Charis and I sent her images of what I wanted our wedding to look like and Charis did it perfectly!!!
