Very unprofessional work. The owner, Larry, showed no interest in rectifying the situation, in fact, yelled at me that he couldn't do a better job on it. I had to tell him to stop yelling. A staff member stepped forward and said she would make it right and ended up doing a good job on the framing and handled it very professionally. The owner, Larry, continued to be rude, insulting and totally disrespectful when I picked up the corrected frame because he was so upset about having to fix his shoddy work. Pretty shocking behavior to say the least. The owner does not deserve to have your business when they behave so unprofessionally as well as provide such a inferior product and act as though that should be acceptable. It is not. I will be telling my friends and neighbors about my experience and suggest they not take their framing needs here.

I came here to get my artwork framed. However, I was told the canvas dimensions were off by…read moremillimeters and that it would look off if we framed it. I originally was looking for a floating frame so we didn't cover up any of the artwork and he explained how that would look bad because the canvas isn't even. He suggested we nail some wood to the sides of the painting. Mind you this piece of art is 4 grand. I agreed a normal frame would work as well but then he proceeded to say the canvas was too thick and wouldn't cover the sides while offering no other solution. I'm not sure of the name of the person I spoke with but he came off as condescending and was not helpful in figuring out a solution. I ended up taking my artwork to cjframers in Lake Zurich. They were amazing to work with and had a wide array of framing options. They helped me find a perfect frame that fit beautifully. They had plenty of solutions and were able to add a backing to completely cover the sides that the frame didn't reach.

Overall, they're decent, but the last cut to length…read moreframe ordered did not line up very well when assembled leaving visible raised edges at the corners of the frame. I get that some of this is probably assembly technique, but it isn't as easy as advertised. The finish of the moulding also rubs off amazingly easily. Very expensive prices for low quality plastic coated "wood" (sawdust + glue) mouldings.

When I received the order I saw the cost of each item and called the company to explain what appeared to be a rediculus price for a paper mat. Their responce was they had to use a full sheet of mat paper and custum cut a hole in it. This is just one item of several other items which I have discoverd where over priced. In order to check out my concern I obtained prices from Frame It Easy . Their price for the same items was $ 92.20 compared t0 $233.46. Another item in my purchase was for a 16x20 frame set like the 20x26. Framing 4 Yourself was $157.88 compared to Fame it Easy price for $72.61. The largest painting had a lot of texture that required special attention. It was more expensive than just buying my own frames but they did a bunch of preparation work for paintings.
