We decided to have some prints framed here and were shocked when the "70%" price was over $1,550.00…read morefor (4) fairly small prints. We liked the matting and frame selected and figured that it was going to be a nice finished product that we would enjoy and decided to move forward. Two weeks later, we pickup the "finished" prints and get them home to realize one of the textured mattings is running the opposite direction of the others and presented as an entirely different color when in the light. There were also tons of dust/paper particles under the glass. We return them and ask for them to be remade showing the issues. We wait over a week and go to pick them up again. Shockingly, the matting is cut roughly, overcut on the corners and still has tons of debris and dust under the glass. I immediately reject all (4) because they were worse than before. Another week+ goes by and we go to pick them up again. SAME EXACT ISSUES. Mat quality issues (scuffs/rubs), scratches in the acrylic now, debris under glass, etc. We, for the third time, reject them all and ask for a refund and to get our prints back. The woman was incredibly rude, demanded a receipt from us even though they had one on file and was entirely disrespectful to us even though the work was abhorrent. They finally pulled up the receipt and issued the refund but as they were standing 10' away from us removing our prints they were having disgustingly disrespectful and highly unprofessional conversations about us. I am so shocked and appalled to have not only spent that kind of money to receive sub-par work, but to be spoken to and about so disrespectfully for rejecting such embarrassingly bad work. Shameful and would not trust them to do any work and, frankly, the store is filthy and none of the employees are particularly kind or helpful.

This window has been in my family for 50 years now. It was in my house when I was growing up and…read morehas moved with me twice. I had installed it into my present house and my wife and I enjoyed looking at it every time we walked into our bedroom. Last year I noticed the glass was coming out of the leading holding it together. Upon further investigation I realized that the wood frame was rotted on the outside causing the issue. The glass was literally sinking out of the frame. After searching the internet I stumbled across Art Glass and Studio. I'm sure glad I did. Lawrence (Law) was a pleasure to work with! He was honest and realistic about his timeframe for assessing the situation and actually getting the work started and finished. I really appreciated that he let us know that he is a busy guy handling a number of projects at the same time but would give our window his utmost attention when our time came. He gave us plenty of options for the repairs working with our budget and suggesting different methods for reinstallation of the window. The option we chose was to make the window a decorative piece instead of an actual permanent window. That way if we move again or our children want the window to stay in the family after we're gone it will be easier to move it to the next place. When it came time for our window to be worked on, I removed it from our house (my choice to save money) and took it over to his shop. Law started on it and kept us informed as to how it was going. Once started, he finished it quickly and it looks great! In this day and age of "bait and switch" it was such a pleasure to work with someone who actually does what he says and does great work. This window was built around 1870 and thanks to Art Glass and Studio (Law) it should have another 150 years of in it. I highly recommend them

This was the second time we've used Slipcover Plus to do reupholstery work on our furniture. About…read more15 years ago, we had them reupholster a couch which needed updating, and that has lasted beautifully. When we thought about redoing the other couch, two chairs and an ottoman, we decided to go back to them. We're so pleased with the results! The couch needed new foam seat cushions and Ceil recommended a dacron wrap around the back cushions, and it's perfect. The new material really modernized the couch, and the decorative upholstery brads are beautifully installed. The other chairs look fabulous, too. I'm so glad we went with this company. The delivery guys were friendly and very careful with the furniture, Ceil was helpful with picking out material, and the job was done within the time promised.

During COVID, it was my work from home chair. You can see the damage. I didn't have high hopes for the future of this chair or its mate that had suffered a fair amount of cat abuse over the same time period. Anthony and his team are phenomenal. Given photos, he provide an honest estimate. Next he guided us in choosing new fabric from over a thousand choices. His associates took the chairs from our living room to their shop, telling us when they'd be done. They were completed right on time and the project cost was not a penny more than the quote. But beyond that, just look at the craftsmanship! The quality of the work is outstanding. I was floored. I thought these chairs were ready for the dumpster and now they're ready for the showroom. Brand new chairs could not possibly look better or be sturdier than these. And they would have cost about double what we paid for the reupholstering. If you think you have a challenging reupholstering project, Anthony and his team are more than up to the task. You will not be sorry for choosing them.

I am not sure if I will be able to sufficiently describe how wonderful this contractor is. So refreshing to be able to find someone with values, commitment, pride in their work and fair prices. Kestis Sopa, and his team are truly the best contractors I have come into contact throughout my 12 year career as a Real Estate Broker. For me, it is very important to find people that I can refer to my clients that are trustworthy, priced right, and do a good job. Kestis is all of those things and more. My family and I have known him for over a year. He has done renovations in my home, my brother's, sisters and mom's. All the way from painting, to tiling, to kitchen and bath renovations, and entire basement renovations. He and his team, do most of his work themselves. They do contract out for major electric and plumbing, as well as hardwood floor sanding....but all in all, they do it all, and he does not up the price on any of that. Though based in the Western Suburbs, they will go all over the city and suburbs, and even further! They work with you! His team is comprised of people that he has known and can trust. Not just random people. A client recently hired him to renovate a foreclosed home in La Grange. He renovated it from top to bottom and inside and out. Stayed true to his quote as far as price AND time! He finished in less than 2 months! Incredible. My client's expectations, as he put it, have been "exceeded." He constantly goes over and above what he commits to and takes pride in his work. If you are looking for someone that you can trust and will become your "go to guy", do not even think of anyone else. You will not be disappointed with Kestis! He knows what he is doing and he does it well. And all of this at a price that is fair and reasonable! I am HAPPY to answer any questions for you about Kestis. Email me anytime!
