I have had personal photographers for my family in the past, and having pictures here has been the most productive and affordable option for us. We have the same manager photograph our kids, and he has been the only person able to make my youngest daughter genuinely comfortable for camera shots. Oh, we of Groupon purchasing. We bought two groupons to use. Millenia Mall is out of our way, but Picture People had good reviews. I know when they saw us coming, they were terrified. 3 toddlers. Yes, we are a whirlwind of craziness and it envelops everything and everyone. And we have to survive on a tight budget, hence the groupons. While we were grateful for the crayons and coloring, here is what we weren't grateful for: - Extremely long wait times. If you have an appointment, add an hour to your time. That's when they'll get to you. And they'll have nothing in the system and ask you questions over again. - Extremely short picture taking times. I get it, it's like McPictures. In and out. They have excellent cameras. They should be taking 5 pictures a second. Don't try to get that one perfect one. Especially with kids. Take as many as you can take! - Apparently, they get warned about taking too long. Our twins were just warming up and getting their smiley selves on when our photographer stopped. It was only at the behest of my wife that she took a few more pictures. - Don't have Natalia take your pictures if you have kids. - After pictures are finished, they delete down to about 12-20 good ones. Good in their opinion, not ours. Show us everything you took and let us decide what we like and don't like. - Again, as aforementioned parents of three toddlers, we want to get things done quickly. It should not take 45 minutes to offload the pictures onto the computer to show us. While certain staff members were extremely pleasant, the whole experience was just bad. I have always heard good things about Picture People, so when I arrived for my appointment and checked in on Yelp I had a mini panic-attack over the star rating. Thankfully my experience turned out much better than what I've read from others. For starters, I made an appointment online and scheduled close to opening on a Sunday. Pretty much, if you're the first one in the studio you're never going to have a wait. When they confirmed my appointment I asked for the location in the mall and where I should park. The studio is right next to Macy's on the lower level of the mall. The person I talked to suggested parking at Macy's, but I ended up parking by the food court, and that was a good choice because Macy's didn't open until right at 11. The main entrances open a few minutes earlier, so that way we were able to get in right at opening. So, for the portrait session: I had purchased a Groupon that included a portrait package with one pose. So, I knew exactly the picture I wanted to get, and I had a specific purpose for the package. As soon soon as I met the photographer I told her exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a full-length shot, but she asked if it would be OK to take a few close-ups as well. I said sure, but I wouldn't pick them. Our photographer was pretty good. She did a good job of posing my daughter and got some really interesting shots. We didn't use any props and she just used the white background for most of the pictures, with just a few at the end on the black background. When we were done we were told it would be a few minutes wait and by the time I got my daughter changed the salesperson was ready to show us our pictures. So, this is where our service did take a little dip. They have a different person that shows you the pictures and tries to sell you more than you want. While I had told my photographer I just wanted the package with the one pose, the salesperson seemed convinced I needed to devote a whole wall in my house to this one photo session (for the low price of $400). Mind you, my Groupon was $20, so this was a bit of an increase. I stood firm with my predetermined portrait package, but I did add an extra 8x10 of one extra pose because my daughter loved it (an extra $20). Regarding the pictures themselves. I got a great picture, exactly what I wanted. However, I didn't like that several of the pictures had too much shadow in the top of the frame. I guess it was to create a dramatic effect, but you could barely see my daughter's face. Not cool. I wish they would have stuck more to what I had specifically asked for and given me more options with those kinds of shots instead of trying different things that weren't what I wanted. The Groupon is a great deal, and I would do it again in the heartbeat, but I'd make sure to be very clear about what I am looking for. read more

Awful customer service... We were refused to have our pictures taken and told to leave the store because we complained after not being helped for over 45 min past our reservation time . Groupon had a good deal. I guess you get what you pay for. Our appointment was at 3:40 - it was an hour before we were rushed in and had our family christmas photos done. My ten year old asked for two specific poses with props he saw in the studio. He was told one was for babies, and another one was being used by someone else. I was very disappointed in every photo and had a hard time choosing one that was print worthy. We have professional photos taken every holiday season, and I always have a problem choosing from all the great pictures - but not at picture people... I had a hard time choosing just one... Extremely crowded No place to sit. Entire process from arrival to pictures in hand took about 3 hours..... Very difficult with an ADHD child, And I can only imagine how hard it was for the families with multiple little ones. Needless to say, we will never be back. read more

Great service...Friendly staff...Good pictures..In and out in an hour and a half! I made an appointment and on my way there I saw all the bad reviews on here. I was very worried and thought about cancelling, but decided I'd give it a shot. My appt was 2pm on a weekday and there was not a soul in there (besides the employees). I was greeted and within 5 minutes were were starting the session. I had my two dogs, and the man was very friendly to them and patient (taking pictures with not one, but two dogs can take patience!) We did several shots, backgrounds and poses. Because there was no one else waiting after me, we extended the shoot and did even more poses that he let me put together. We waited about 15 minutes for the pictures to be loaded up and went through them. There were several that I really liked. There was one-I loved the pose-but not my face-so he happily took us back to reshoot the pose to get a better one, something I didn't think he would do, but I was very pleased. Now, at first, he wanted to sell me the bundle package (10 pages of prints and a picture CD for 200$) I was like No way Jose, because I did some research prior and on their website they are running a special as that deal being only $135. He said he didn't know anything about that, but I was able to pull up the website on my phone and show him, and he agreed to give me the package for that price. About 10-15 minutes later he brought out the printed pictures that I ordered, he notice that there were some spots on a few of the images and was gonna toss them and reprint. I asked him if I could keep the bloopers, he didn't say anything-but hey at least I asked! He brought the finalized pictures out, they all looked good. He put them in an envelope for me, then upon review I noticed he put in the bloopers as well! It made me so happy, they had a tiny smudge at the bottom corner but still presentable! When I was checking out, I had a coupon for $25 off my purchase, he didn't want to take it because the bundle was a "special", the coupon didn't say anything about excluding bundles, so he took it! Note: As previously reviewed it is $18 per sheet, but upon my price shopping comparisons, they were the cheapest. Another place I called was $32 per sheet PLUS a $60 sitting fee, this place has no sitting fee! We were there when the kids born, 100 days, every year birthday, Thanksgiving,Christmas, new years,some times valentines... more than 6 years, lots of money spent. through these years, The photographer always good and patient, people there are pleasant and pictures are good, I never had to come back to adjust anything, Customer service is great! This Stops until now, We went there for family photo, it's very rare my sister's family and my parents are all here. I made appointment online, the website shows latest time is 5:20pm, so I picked 5:00pm since my husband need come from work. They emailed me that they Modified my appointment ,without my consent, excuse me for not checking my email everyday, but they called the night before told me I have to go at 4pm because they closed at 5pm (according to website, they close at 7pm), not really give our choice. Since my sister is leaving next day, so we had to go, but our time was really tight. we were late because there's pour rain and car accident on the way, they told us only can wait for 20 mins. When we got there, exactly 4:20pm, we are the only group there. The photographer is friendly, but the sidekick not so much, She has Poker face and give us attitude. My parents feel it, but since it's my mom's birthday, I don't wanna make them unhappy, just ignore her face. I used the coupon that in my email, that give us one free collage when buy the big bundle. When I Choose photo, I ask Lekari (the sidekick) if she can move the phone little bit right because my son and my mom was cutting off, she said they can't because it will show the edges, ok, not even trying, not very patient either. They told us to get the picture next day, so I did pick it up. before you can get same day. when I show the picture to my mom, she said one of picture in collage was cutting off too much, and another one my son's eye is close. So I thought it's 100% customer Satisfaction, at least that's how I remember before. I went back today, ask them if they can adjust it and changed the eye close picture to one of picture we bought. The photographer was nice, she took picture in and ask, then told me they don't keep those pictures besides the one I buy. I thought it was weird since I got online album for all the picture, but ok, so I asked if they can shrink one of the small picture, so my sister's shoulder will not cut off. she was nice and took inside to ask, so I went with her. again the mean sidekick and other lady were not willing to help, they said: unfortunately this is what you will get and this is free copy, we can't do anything about it. Lekari said I vividly remember going through those with you, I said that picture wasn't cutting so much when we see it. Those two ladies just keep saying: that's what you gonna get. Very RUDE! WOW, I'm done, we are not coming anymore. After so many year loyal to this place, this is how they treat customers. First it's not free until you buy something, Second they don't even wanna try to help. no wonder this place has less and less people come. Our photographer claimed she was "a photography nerd, lived and died photography..." I asked her what lens and camera body she was using...then proceeded to look around the camera to see what she had. I had to point it out to her that the lens was a Canon 28-135. She then asked me if that was a good lens, I should have known it would be all downhill from there. They rush you through your shots, you have 20 minutes to get whatever poses you want. They don't have many props (a woven basket and a towel to be exact). i will say that our photog handled poses well...positioned our family of four well. the aesthetics of the store is also pleasant, very organized and the canvas displays are nice. that's the only positives! we purchased a groupon, b/c we are looking for a good studio to take pictures of our family. we bought the "high res" CD. when i asked them if it was "full resolution", they said they did not know what that meant, and they only had two options, low and high resolution. well, high res to them is 1920x1280 w/ a file size of 1MB, which can print (and not print well) a 8x10. that's garbage. my iphone can shoot at a higher resolution than this. even worse, one of the "good" pictures (they delete pictures they don't think is good) - my daughter had eyes closed while the rest of us had our eyes open. what a joke. we went to lunch while we waited for our photos to be placed onto a CD. when we came back to view our photos, the front desk asked for the "next person to be helped", we walked up and they said "you're going to have to wait to see our photos, i was only asking people who had to check in". classy. the prices on their reprints is astronomical and outrageously expensive. you can print much cheaper online.....except you can't print anything large b/c they screw you by giving you a CD w/ tiny images. the copyright is useless. this company is full of crooks, i'll never go back and i'm glad i at least got to use a groupon to get a discount on this company. absolutely horrible read more

We went here 9 months ago and had a really good experience. So we decided to go back with my little brother and sister and my 5 month old daughter. I was hoping to get a photo of the kids together, smiling, and then a family photo of my husband, baby, and myself. We told the photographer from the beginning to do the kids first, because the baby was in a great mood and ready to go! My mother didn't want Christmas props in the photos of the kids, and the photographer ( Debbie, who is awful) huffed around about switching the props so we said we said we would go first as a family. She took the entire time taking photos of us and barely took any of the kids. She also put my baby on her knees even when I told her she cannot sit up yet. By the time we got to the photos of the 3 kids, the baby was hungry. Instead of waiting for her to finish her bottle, which she would have been happy and fine after, they had her take the photo anyway. My baby's face was red from crying in the photo. We got one photo of the kids and it's pretty terrible. When we mentioned we were unhappy that there was only one photo of the kids, Debbie said, "oh well we got one" and they would not redo the photo. I was completely disgusted with our experience. I originally purchased a cd because I felt guilty wasting my time, but I asked for a refund, ultimately, because the photos were so bad. I went to pick up my mom's prints (at least she got a couple of her children that were OK). The manager supposedly refunded the cd before I got there but she had no proof that she did so and refused to give me a receipt that proved she put the transaction through. They told me to "just wait for the money to be put back to the bank account" but they couldn't even give me a time frame this would happen. We will be calling customer service and corporate ASAP. They are very unprofessional. Debbie took multiple unflattering photos ( she tilted the camera under and up) and when I asked her if I was standing up straight she said yes (I wasn't). She didn't pose or help. She had no clue what she was doing. She was super stuck up and just terrible. She wouldn't listen and when I requested a certain photo, she basically stuck her nose up. She's basically just a button pusher (sorry) with a terrible eye for posing and lighting and she rushed us. We were not comfortable whatsoever with her. There are plenty of local photographers. Save your money and find somewhere else! It was such a waste of time! Not to mention, the studio is dirty and disgusting! I feel bad that we wasted our children's time as well. read more

We were so excited this morning for our session and take a family picture, after all their pictures look awesome but I couldn't be more disappointed!!!! First, our appt was at 10:40 and we arrived at 10:30AM. At 11:00AM I finally asked about it because when you have 2 kids, I don't want them sweating before the pictures... (when we arrived I had to answer the exact same questions I filled up online. The lady's explanation "different system") and then I said again it was a family picture, then she asked me "are you going to be in the picture?". How dumb is that!?! I am part of the family... I didn't say "kids picture I said FAMILY" LOL Anyways, they called us right after 11:10AM and our photographer wasn't very patient with kids. I brought several matching outfits and we almost didn't have time to change to the 1st one. :-( My toddler is very energetic, therefore I was trying to entertain him, and every time he was kissing us and posing, the photographer was looking his previous picture or deleting it. SO FRUSTRATING!!! They had so many props in the front, and it was never offered to us. I finally got a red car and the block that was right there close to us... I was expecting to take 30-50 pictures because I was planning to print many pictures etc but we end up with 18 only. I got the package, including the "high resolution" CD that I am very irritated now to see that all the pictures, my son is a little blurry!!!! And it's NOT really high resolution... IT WAS NOT WORTH all the money I spent today! Not even HALF of what I paid. Then after our session, I asked for some "touch up" and the guy had to ask the manager because he didn't know how to do it. And left saying "one minute and your pics will be printed"... 30 min later and nothing! It was lunch time and the kids were hungry!!! I left and 1 hour later, the frame was ready (touch up was not that great) the sheets and they couldn't locate my CD... I had to wait another 10 minutes!!! We have been here several times and this will be the last time. Our "appointment" was at 6:40. It is now 7:40 and we are 4th in line. At this rate we will probably leave and not get our picture taken. The place is a zoo and the service is horrible. Th staff stands around and doesn't seem to know what they are doing. We purchased a groupon, set an appt for 1pm for a sat. We arrived at 12:45pm, our pictures were not even started until 2pm. We didnt get to view our pictures until almost 3, and finally had them printed out by 3:30. You can not view the pictures as they are being taken, therefor you can not fix anything that is wrong. Major quality control issues. The only reason we go is because they do take good photos. Unfortunately you have to deal with their other issues. The first time we went not only were several photos spotted and needed to be reprinted but the frame was damaged. They made good on those mistakes. Another problem we had with them is that they took several shots of our son in an outfit, the photographer said she got lots of good pictures but when it came time to look them over there was only 1 in that outfit! They apparently delete ones they don't think are good enough. Our second attempt went better until we got home and saw that our frame was falling apart! We now have to travel 40 minutes back to the store to change out the frame. Like I said, the pictures come out great but they have a lot of issues. read more

We came in for an appointment on Saturday, October 20th. We waited for 45 minutes past our scheduled appointment time of 5:50pm until it was our turn. When we asked why there was a delay we were informed that it was the last day of a "Groupon" and that they were "slammed." We were two families getting pictures of our daughters together in their Halloween costumes. We both have portrait passports, so we were not using a Groupon. We proceeded to take pictures and when the photographer was done we made sure that we had enough pictures, looking at the screen on the camera we saw several that were possibilities. He assured us that we got enough of my daughter alone, the other child alone, and both of them together to have "plenty" (his words) to choose from. We then proceeded to wait more than 1 hour to view our photos. We inquired as to how long the wait was and we were told that we should not leave, we should wait to view our photos and then come back to pick them up after printing. So, we waited with two 1 year old children for more than an hour. We had dining reservations at 8pm (giving us more than 2 hours at Picture People). We again asked the manager on duty how much longer. She said oh you are the next on the top of the clipboard. Then she realized we were upset and proceeded to ignore us. After finally viewing our pictures another 20 minutes later, I believe we had approximately 15 to choose from. They were awful. There was one great picture of one of the girls. None of my daughter, and one just ok picture of the two of them together. We were devastated after now having spent more than 2 1/2 hours in the store. We had one picture to show from it. We tried speaking to the manager, and she went out of her way to avoid us. At this point, I gave up trying to speak to her as I had a very tired, and hungry daughter on my hands. This situation could have been handled so much better from a customer service perspective. They obviously realized that they were running behind. They should have told us to come back later to view our pictures instead of making us wait. Also, when we realized that there were no usable pictures the manager should have spoken to us. Where were the pictures that we saw? Why were only shown 15? Major disappointment all around. I now have to figure out time when we can get pictures taken, since we have none to show for our efforts. Horrible service. Set an appoint. Started 15 mins late. And while we were waiting they wouldn't allow pictures to be taken inside the store! We were in the retail shop for 2 hours and 15 mins, and only taking photos for 5 minutes. The rest of the time was wasted sitting around! And since we didn't eat, I thought that we would be able to come back on the weekend and pick up the photos, but UNFORTUNATELY, they only hold printed photos for 1 DAY! I believe my email to the company will explain my rating: I am incredibly disappointed in the customer service as well as the company policy changes. I had the absolute worst experience at the Millenia Mall store last night. I'll start w/ the fact that our appointment was at 7p and we did not leave the store w/ our 10 sheets of photos until 8:50p. The poor services started when we got to the store. The person behind the counter didn't have a clue what was going on and couldn't find my appointment. I proceeded to show him my confirmation email and he said "oh that doesn't matter, I'll have to put you in the system." It does matter. Why have an appointment system if it doesn't matter. The second issue came when we were done w/ our shoot (our photographer was the only highlight of the entire experience). We sat for over an hour waiting for someone to bring up our pictures on the computer. NO ONE came and discussed pictures with us. No one did anything except run the slideshow. We had to figure out how to look at the pictures as thumbnails, etc. There was no "look we can do this" or "would you like enhancements." We chose our poses and just told a girl passing by what we wanted and that was it. No service. The last straw was when we were checking out and I mentioned that I wanted to be sure my pictures were going to be held for 12 months and that I wanted to have the link sent to me via email so I could send the pics to my family to order prints. I was promptly told that pictures were only guaranteed for 7 days and that you no longer provide the online option for purchase. I asked how much proofs were on cd and the cashier went through some spiel about this and that. I thought I had asked a pretty simple question. I was so livid at that point that I just didn't care. I've been a Portrait Club member for 8 years. I have followed your stores through closings and moves. I have NEVER in my life been this disappointed in a company. I work for Universal Studios in Orlando and we strive to give every guest the best service and do what it takes to make them feel like they got their money's worth. Your store failed. Big time! Now I have to come up w/ $150 in 7 days to go back and buy my proofs so I don't lose my pictures. This is unacceptable. After retrieving my proof cd I cannot imagine that I will ever utilize your company for pictures again. My Portrait club membership is good until November and I just can't justify dropping another dime in your store. read more

They rushes you the whole entire time and you are only given a 20 min session doesn't matter if u have 1, or 2 children r the entire family. Absolutely the worst customer service ever! And they don't even take awesome pictures to put up with it. Went there because I had a groupon. They told me my 16x20 would be delivered within 4-6 weeks. Week 6 I called them saying hey I didn't receive my photo.They reply, "we just didn't have the paper then. You can come now we will print it out today." There's no way this should have happened. Had a 5pm appointment for holiday pics/cards. Still there at 8pm and NO pictures. Young staff were very nice but have no idea how to run an efficient business and no manager on premises. Too many appointments, not enough staff, new staff, clueless staff. One didn't know how to run the register, no one knew how to put paper in the printer, pics were printed too dark, cards were missing our names thus had a big blank space at the bottom. In the end, it's true, you get what you pay for... this was a living social deal and NOT even worth the $18 that I paid! Ended up walking out with NOTHING. What a complete waste of time! I was honestly worried when I read the reviews here. I was booking photos just before Christmas using a Living Social deal. I checked in 10 minutes late due to traffic outside the mall. Within 5 minutes we were being called to our session. Mandy our photographer was great, she kept the kids engaged and had a sweet attitude the entire time. After our session we wandered the mall for a few, came back 15 minutes after our pictures were taken to view them. We let the gentleman know that we were using the Living Social deal and had no intentions on purchasing anything else. He didn't pressure us at all, let us pick our favorite and had them printed fairly quickly. We were in and out of the mall in an hour and 15 minutes, and that includes wandering around and looking at the decorations and a little window shopping. read more

I would like to start off that the photographer we had was wonderful. Really worked with our jids to gert wonderful pictures. Now... After the pics were taken, we were informed that it would be an hour for download so we could review the pics to make our purchase. Over two and a half hours later, still waiting and continually being told that " They are working on them right now". The sales staff was horrible and didn't try to help the situation and had the attitude of " not my problem". Still waiting with my two year old and my five year old, who should be home right now, getting ready for the school for the next day. I had an appointment- showed up early and they got me right in. Photographer was excellent and so sweet to my babies- I have twins. One of my daughters had a little melt down and he was so patient. My only suggestion is that you print out the package price sheets online. The rep did not really go over anything but the special and that was not what I wanted. Luckily I looked at the website so I knew there were options. Also felt a little rushed to make my choices. Also they only keep you photos for 1 week. I would also suggest taking help with you. By the time you have waited for your appt., had the photos taken, waited for the processing and looked at the pictures- it is a long time for kids to wait. I will be going back. These people are a giant joke of an organization. I have never seen such unprofessional staff. We had an appointment with the Millenia Mall Studio at 5:20pm. The appointment was made online and I received not only email but a phone confirmation of the appointment. Clearly, they KNEW we were coming. WE arrived EARLY for the appointment, as we had a 2 month old baby to get ready. Our Appointment time came and went--no one could tell us when we would be seen. After waiting almost an hour we left. We won't go back. The staff is rude and incompetent--they clearly can't handle the number of customers they have and have no IDEA what it means to keep a schedule. I am trying to remember why I went back after the photographer I worked with last year tried to pressure me into buying a $500 package when I made it clear that I was there only for Christmas cards. Fast forward to this year and I went back because of an amazing 50% coupon I received in the mail. My appointment was for 7:30 and we weren't taken for an hour. While we waited, I tried to take a picture of my daughters on my cell phone and I was told I wasn't allowed to take puctures in the lobby. When they finally called us, they didn't know who we were (despite being checked in when I walked in). Finally we were taken into a studio and the pictures were taken. Our photographer was the only bright spot of the experience. Ted was patient and even took extra pictures for me of my girls. Then when I sat down to pick out the actual card and writing, he made every change I asked for, with absolutely no complaints. The cards came out great and my family and friends will love them. Ted was great as well but I doubt even he can bring us back for year #3. I caution others to think carefully before choosing The Picture People. Appointment times, mean nothing and customer service is lacking. read more

Terrible experience. If I could give 0 stars I would. Entire staff was rude and unprofessional. We first went to Picture People with our 4 month old daughter after purchasing a Groupon deal. As soon as the first flash went off she screamed and cried for 45 minutes so they told us we could reschedule and still use the Groupon the next which was great. We waited until she was 7 months and more comfortable around strangers. We arrived at our appointment early because I expected to have to explain the whole Groupon thing. They couldn't honor it, instead they just gave us credit for the amount paid which was fine but not what they had originally promised. When the photographer came out to great us I explained what had happened the previous time and that we were really just looking for one decent family shot. We didn't want to overdo it and figured if she did well we would come back in for some "real" pictures, this was just a trial run really. She did fine and the photographer was nice enough. While reviewing our pictures the photographer was trying to sell us on packages and club memberships and I again explained that we wanted to see how she did and were only planning on purchasing one shot and returning later for a whole shoot. After we declined all the packages he was extremely rude. While we were checking out he continued being extremely rude and at one point had to ask his manager about how to honor the Groupon credit. The manager came over and was just as rude and they were both rolling their eyes and complaining about us not purchasing anything more. He even asked right in front of us if he could just not honor our coupon. Being that our daughter is only 7 months we definitely would have brought her in for pictures every couple months but I will NEVER go there again. Every single member of that staff seemed as if they hated their job, their life, and every customer that walked through the door, not an environment I want to bring my daughter into. read more

I really wish you could give negative stars. This place is a nightmare! Our appointment today was at 10:30 and they didn't get us in the studio until well after 11. Never heard a sorry or anything. Once we were finally done, it took about another 30 minutes until they were ready to show us our pictures. During this time, I approached a staff member and the AREA MANAGER about when our pictures would be ready for viewing. The AREA MANAGER told me that she was the manager and that she was working on it, but was busy fixing a computer. All of this in a frustrated tone of course. I returned later to pick up our pictures only to find several of them blurry and several of them with a black spot in the background. The best part is that the girl knew of these issues but failed to fix them. Instead, she asked me if I thought they were blurry. I agreed and she went to the back to reprint them. I waited another 20-30 minutes until she came back, only to find that the pictures were still blurry!! I asked for the manager, but she had left for the day. That's also surprising seeing how there were several customers in the store waiting patiently and impatiently. To say this place is ran horribly would be a big understatement. Very unfortunate that this is the only Picture People around here. read more

If this place had negative stars, I would give it! First off, our appointment was at 4:10 and they were over an hour late. Not to mention, I have a 13 month old that I had to entertain that entire time and by the time they were ready, she was already over it. It was me, my 13 month old daughter, sister, and nephew who is 6. When they finally called us, they put us by a window were people were staring in from the mall and my child was looking at them instead of the camera. Our photographer was horrible with babies and kept putting this stupid bunny on her head. After about 50 times of her doing that and my child not smiling.. It's like come on lady do something else! She never did. I went up to take a picture by myself and the lady told me to do some stupid high school cheerleader type pose and I said no thank you. That was after her telling me to put my hand on my hip. Really? So then the pictures come and they are awful. The lighting was horrible and we are posed horribly. As we look and watch other photographers putting out cute props and chairs and props we realized our photographer did not offer us anything like that. She also put us infront of a plain white background and we saw they had other pretty backgrounds that were not even offered to us. My daughter and I were wearing gorgeous dresses and not one of our poses was acceptable. The only one that was decent was 1 that we were forced to pick of all four of us wearing sweaters so basically we dressed up for nothing. I am so angry at this photographer for being unprofessional and clearly not caring enough to offer us what others were getting and I am upset at this place for being so late with the appointment and wasting so much of our time for nothing. It makes me really sad that I didn't get one picture of my daughter and I all dressed up. read more

Every single time we make an appointment we are stuck waiting still over half an hour or more, usually more, very disappointing. What's the point in making an appointment when you don't manage your time with walk-ins prior???? read more

Very disappointing experience. We had an appointment at 10:40am today and were not seen until 11:20. No one was at the front desk to check us in. Although the photographer did a decent job, they did not have our pictures ready to view until after 1pm. 40 minutes later we are still waiting on them to edit and print them. Overall a three hour block of time while trying to keep a two year old happy for pictures is not ideal. Don't waste half your day sitting and waiting. Will be looking for another place to get our photos taken from now on. read more

The store smelled like dirty diapers. The people working there were very nice but the pictures were nothing great. I'm glad I only spent $11 on a Groupon to try them out. I will not be going back. read more

Super upset about our pictures from the Mall at Millenia location =( Our photographer was nice enough but she didnt seem to know how to take a good picture. We HATED every single one of the family poses she took and had to retake them only to dislike those also. Props were never offered, I had to suggest them, and I felt like I was running the show instead of her. Then they tried to sell us an outrageous package. We finally settled on buying the cd with 20 pictures that we could print ourselves for $100. We walked out with NO printed pictures tonight. I really want to cry, and just want my money back to go somewhere else. We get home and view the disc, wouldnt you know it? Some photos are not even on the disc-and some are missing add ons that we did in the studio.. I will NEVER recommend this place. Im going back to Portrait Innovations! read more
