As soon as we left our meeting, we knew we wanted to use them. Just talking to April and Jared was so easy, loved their work and their personality. As soon as we got home, we booked them and cancelled our other upcoming meetings with other photographers. They were a blast to work with. They were professional, on time, and easy going. They had no problem doing anything we requested, but of course had plenty of great suggestions for us. They also had no problem getting pictures when our family or guests requested one. The only tough thing was to wait 3 months to get our pictures! It was well worth being patient though, such great photographs to give us a memory of such a wonderful day. They may not advertise it on their site, but they are wonderful with kids and family photos as well, so please do not pass on them if you are looking for a family photographer. They are ALWAYS so kind and patient, we have a (3 and 5 year old) so you can imagine how that might go, and still incredible sweet pics of us and our kids. My husband…read morewas a bit nervous about what to expect at our photo shoot (which we did at the Botanical Garden in San Francisco), but Melissa has the sweetest and most engaging demeanor, that he walked out of it saying how much fun he had! Here's a little glimpse into how dedicated Melissa is: On the day of our shoot, we were meeting in San Francisco (we were all coming from the South Bay) in the early AM to catch the sunrise. On the way over she had some car issues, but that didn't deter her from not only making it on time, but being totally relaxed and at no moment were we ever rushed. I can tell you that if I'd been in her situation, I would have rescheduled to deal with my car issues (which she dealt with after our session with her car still parked on the side of the freeway). She had a commitment and she was not going to let us down! Melissa has a talented eye for capturing beautiful shots. She caught some gorgeous lighting which made us so happy that she suggested sunrise to begin with. I also loved that she would suggest poses for us to get the best angles. We have so many amazing photos to share and our family and friends have all commented on how incredible they turned out! ALSO, for whatever reason I always assumed that all photographers had editing skills. I'm not talking about lighting and minor touch ups (which is the norm as I've learned). I'm talking, photoshopping out an ugly building behind a beautiful shot of my husband and I during a sunset or taking out a background of a messy room from one of the only nice shots of me in my wedding dress with my parents. Melissa was not our wedding photographer and while our photographer took beautiful photos, there were a few that I really wanted fixed up (including a couple from the church with heavy lighting). Melissa spent several hours working on these and they look amazing. So much so that I seriously cried from happiness! I know my review is getting long, but I am excited about the work that Melissa does. She cares about each and every one of her clients and it shows. I love that she is also constantly learning and taking classes to improve her skills. I wholeheartedy recommend Melissa for any of your photoshoot needs! You're going to love working with her!

She was so patient and calm the many hours we were there. I didn't get to get the shots in the cute baby clothes bc we had to bundle him into a ball to keep him calm but it all came out just as beautiful. I only met Tamara once before I decided to use her for my birth photography. Tamara is an incredible photographer and might as well be a doula who was there for me from 8pm until well after my baby arrived at 3:30am at the birth center. I love looking at the gorgeous shots in the video she made us and just crying at having those special moments so beautifully photographed by such an incredibly talented photographer. In addition, I also used her as a newborn photographer and she truly lives up to her title of "The Baby Whisperer." We were at her open, natural light studio for about 3 1/2 hours as she photographed my daughter with great care and patience, very careful to keep her warm, allow her to nurse as needed, and capturing every little detail I wanted to remember. What other photographer would let you have such an incredibly long session to make sure you have those memories? I've loved Tamara so much I've been back for 3 and 6 months shots, and I LOVE her holiday themed mini sessions! The Halloween ones were probably my favorite. She and her new partner Danielle (who is also really awesome!) work together to create several fun backdrops for each mini session so you have inexpensive, bright, memorable pictures from Christmas, Halloween, Easter, Valentine's Day, and more! After each event, the photographer duo sends a link to a Hightail.com folder where you can download the high quality photos from your session for 14 days. I really love this because I'm a military wife and both my and my husband's family are hours away. I can forward the download email right to them so they have access to all the pictures we received, in addition to a copyright email (in case the print place gives you a hard time). This is SO much easier than trying to burn a dvd or create a cloud folder for them each and every time. I know this is long winded but I just can't say enough wonderful things about my experiences with Bump Meet Baby Photography. They're a wonderfully talented duo and the studio is beautiful, open, and natural light. I LOVE the images and I love the experiences I've had.
