If I could give a negative one review, I would I rarely give reviews and I have no idea how this place got as good of reviews as it does. I went in simply asked for a custom frame. The guy practically pushed me out the door said it's gonna be at least 100 bucks. I said that was fine then he responded to me saying it's gonna take 3 to 4 weeks. I said that was fine. I asked if I could see what a custom frame would look like he stated come back. There were two employees in the store and only one customer and I would've absolutely waited. I was like I just wanna see what kind of custom frames you have the gentleman said go to Michael's I responded but you guys do custom frames. The gentleman responded. I had such a good experience here! Honestly, Bobby and Sandy are a breath of fresh air. There's a painting that I've owned for 12 years that I've wanted framed but I have consistently put it off. I took it to several stores on Ventura Blvd and was quoted prices so exorbitant, that I'd have to choose between paying rent or getting a painting framed. Rent won. During some down time, I took my painting back into several stores and was quoted more than before. I was told prices have gone up, shipping has been unreliable, etc. Finally, I did a quick Yelp search and found Picture Perfect. It was literally my last stop. I took my painting in and Bobby and Sandy were very helpful and personable. I wasn't able to get my painting framed because what I wanted was not in stock. However, I had such a good experience with them that I took in a poster and had that custom framed instead. Not only did they quote me a very reasonable price, but they did a gorgeous job! They called me when it was ready and I could not be more pleased with the service I received and the product. In addition, they kept me in mind. Sandy called me when she received some samples that she thought I'd be interested in. I love that customer service. You know you're being thought of and they treat you like family. I cannot recommend this business enough. The owners are fantastic at what they do and how they treat their customers. If you have anything that needs to be framed, this is your spot! Anytime I need something custom framed, Picture Perfect is my only choice. The work is always top quality for a reasonable price, and the atmosphere of the shop is pleasant and intimate. Turnaround time is either true to what they initially quote you, or sooner (about 1-2 weeks). Oodles of wooden frames to choose from (and they only have wood, FYI). They are in a plaza, so plenty of parking. All in all, a great local business in the Valley that I am happy to support. Bobby, Sandy and their two doggos are part of Picture Perfect's appeal. During every visit, there's good conversation and plenty of jokes. There are a lot of regulars who frequent the shop, and for good reason. They are happy to offer assistance with choosing a frame or a mat. I do appreciate their creative direction, because I always need a second opinion. There are literally dozens of "white" mats and I would not know where to start. I've come here to frame a picture, a poster, and even a flag -- they can do it all. Lots of experience between the both of them. They accept credit/debit cards and cash. No Apple Pay here. There is a convenience fee for using a card. If the material is something they don't have in stock -- or if it's a pricey job -- they will ask you to pay part of the bill up-front. No problem, I understand they need to order supplies. Otherwise, they will hold your work as insurance instead of charging a deposit. The price you are quoted is the price you'll pay at the end -- no surprise additions when you come to pick it up. Note that the shop is literally Bobby, Sandy and the dogs. If things come up, the shop may open later or close earlier than the hours posted. In general, if you're coming 45 minutes before closing time, I suggest calling ahead so they know to expect you. I've been here before a while ahead of closing and their doors have already been shut due to one of them being sick, etc. It's just the two of them and no one else can hold down the fort. i was recommended to check this place out by a good friend for any custom framing needs, so i made a trip out a few weeks ago. at first glance, the store was a bit small and cramped with all the frames and custom work that they've done...but despite that, the couple who own this spot are great at what they do and can give excellent recommendations on choosing the right frame and matting to compliment your print, photo, piece, or whatever you'd want framed. once you get a quote, you can work with them to figure out how much you'd like to put down. i ended up putting down 50% of the quote since i had faith that they'd do a great job due to the praises of my friend and the pricing wasn't as bad as i thought. after a few weeks, i received a call that my print was ready and ready to be picked up. at first, i was a bit nervous that it may not have come out the way i had wanted...but as soon as i saw my piece and the framing job, my worries dissolved completely. simply put, they are awesome! i've received tons of compliments already and am so glad to have made the trip to the valley to get my piece framed. highly recommend this spot for all your framing needs and it's definitely worth the trip out there if you're in L.A. most definitely gonna be coming back again to get a few more pieces framed soon! read more

We needed six photos framed for work, so I went around and got estimates at a few local shops. Picture Perfect's estimate was literally (not an exaggeration) LESS THAN 25 PERCENT of what another shop quoted me. Pretty amazing, since I was informed both shops have the same supplier. It saved us over $750. Bobby and Sandy are lovely (as are their two dogs!). The turnaround was less than the 10 business days quoted as well, though they did offer a faster turnaround if we needed it. Excellent service, the pictures came out great, and they saved us a great deal of money. I will be going to Picture Perfect for all my framing needs from now on. I thought it would cost a fortune, but Bobby and Sandy worked with me in keeping the costs down and the final tally was incredibly reasonable, a bargain in fact. And despite the fact that they were already busy with Christmas orders, they got all my frames finished in the time requested, and they look beautiful. I came back a second time to get glass replaced in another frame, and they were again so friendly, finished the job while I waited, and charged a very reasonable price. Have used this business and referred many people for years. However had noticed over the past year that service levels were noticeably slipping, and the owners just don't seem to care like they used to. In April gave them some framing work to help them out during their closure, was even willing use the few matting choices they still had in stock. They promised two week turn time since they were so slow. After months of "next weekend ", I finally went to their shop which had reopened. Unbelievably, my order was sitting against the wall untouched. When asked what was going on, the answer was "they just weren't feeling it". WTH? I took the order back, and had another shop complete. This shop is on its last legs, with owners who no longer have passion for what they do. Very sad. read more

These people don't deserve to run a customer service business. They are condescending and bad at what they do. I brought a mat in to be opened wider to fit a new image, something I've had done many times. First he had to ask his partner if she would be willing to do it. Something I thought was weird since they do custom framing. Cutting a mat is quite simple. They agreed to do it and quoted $7. Again, I thought that a little high because of how simple it was to cut a mat, but I didn't want to argue. I went to pick it up on Saturday at 3:40 (they closed at 4) but they decided to close early. A huge pet peeve of mine when you run a customer driven business. I left a message saying so and got a call the next day saying to come by and get the mat, free of charge. I thought that was nice and ran over to get it. I get a block away and discover the mat was cut too wide, so I went back and showed him. The first thing out of his mouth is, "well, I didn't charge you." The mat was cut days ago, before he offered to wave the fee! So they ruined my mat, were going to charge me but waved the fee because they decided to close early, then couldn't understand why I was mad that they ruined my mat, because they didn't charge me. He offered no resolution when I got upset, stating that they don't normally do the service I asked for. There were other businesses that did it for me by my old house. I wish I had taken the time to drive all the way back there and had it done right. I was out the door when he finally yelled, "Just give me another day!" For what? They obviously have no pride in their work, especially for a low paying client like me. Little do they know my boss just invested in a small gallery's worth of art and is looking to get it all custom framed. Like hell am I going to recommend these people. read more
