Attention - this place is Under New Management as of Jan 2023…read more I ordered a backlit Tradeshow display (10' x 7.5') and a backlit Table Counter. Assuming I got everything and headed out to Vegas to get set up. The banner fabric did not wrap around the frame as it was suppose to, leaving the sides exposed and the LED lights that were placed behind it. I was sold a table counter as well, that was suppose to be lit, but it didnt come with LED lights when I unpacked the counter. To me, customer service is important to me, and I hope it is to you. I have contacted the new owner, Meni, MANY times during and after the tradeshow and only got a few responses that he is "working on it". After several emails going unanswered and a few weeks later... I decided to write this and going to take my business elsewhere. Basically I paid almost $3750 (includes tax) for something I can't use again because its incomplete. Guess how much the Table Counter cost in the invoice, $585 dollars. That is $585 dollars for two pieces of plywood, a plastic popup frame and fabric that went around it. No LED backlits. Yeah, got ripped off of $585. If you're looking for customer service, honestly, you're taking a risk with this new management. skip it this location. I've been doing business with FastSigns for decades and since they are independently owned, each place is ran different. This is probably the worst you can get. My advice, if you like FastSigns, just go down the road to Sherman Oaks or Studio City, they seem to answer me quickly on simple questions. As I am writing this - the owner still uses a gmail account and not a "Fastsigns" email. That tells you something. Watch, I'll probably get an email from him once I post this to take this down and he'll fix the issue. Sorry pal, I also pay for customer service, and you don't provide it.

She measured my car window, and took my info and thought it would be about $25 (comparable to Badge Busters two doors away). While I knew it might vary a little from her first guess, I said, let's proceed. She said the actual designer needed to get my artwork and give me an exact quote. So, I sent them an EPS (vector scalable) file of my exact logo/design. A week later, I hadn't heard anything so I stopped in. They were confused and thought they sent it. Asked for my contact info again and that night I actually got the quote. For the big sign on the back of my vehicle, it would be $75. I replied that I would like to see a proof just to make sure it looks alright and then let's go for it. (Three times the price of their competition, but I wasn't too worried. Then I get back another email saying, it would be an extra $35 for "design". I was confused as I already did the design and gave them a perfectly finished piece of digital artwork. So, I called in to make sure I didn't misunderstand. They said that even with my artwork, they need to charge a "design fee" as it is just standard policy. I asked why they needed to charge me to use my OWN artwork. They said, "Anytime we have to turn on the computer to do anything, it is $35" That is just the owner's policy. I asked to speak to the owner and they asked why would I even want to see the proof before they did the printing. WHAT? As a small business owner, I go out of my way to accomodate my clients and a simple request like, "Can I see it before you stick it on my car" would be the sort of request I would not think twice about. But, she kept repeating, "Sorry, that is our policy. We can't change it" So, instead of spending over a $100 for something that should have cost $25, I am taking my business next door and hopefully, the owner can learn from this situation about how to provide some small level of customer service. In a commodity business like printing, there really isn't anything to make your business stand out besides how you treat your customers. Then again, maybe I am such small potatoes that they don't care one bit about losing my business. Good for them.

I told him what I needed and he was upfront about pricing and gave me several options to choose from for my business cards. Impressed by how responsive he was, I added to my order and got business cards as well as decals for my business and they look great. At one point, Jovan called me to express his concern with a possible issue; I picked a very dark blue color for my cards with a gloss finish. He showed me how dark colors and gloss finishes sometimes attract fingerprint oils when being handled. He had already received an order from me, but this really showed me that he cared enough to make sure I was going to be happy with the end result before moving forward. I chose a color almost exactly the same as the original and I can no longer tell the difference. I'll definitely be going back to Jovan and I recommend anyone reading this to give Fast Printing a chance.
