I was very surprised when I received a direct message on Instagram with an offer from Genevieve to…read morehave my newborn model for her page. It was very exciting considering I had no plans on who to hire to take these photos. She had a great demeanor and warm personality, and was very considerate of my time and worked around my schedule. Once I arrived to her home, I was greeted with a warm welcome and a cute gift, along with a snack bar! Inside the gift were a bunch of stuff for the baby and me. What I loved most, is that each gift were from people on Etsy. This is a person who supports small businesses and I found that to be beautiful. The presentation was immaculate. You can tell that Gen was passionate about not only taking photos, but about pleasing her clients - it was genuine and not forceful at all. My daughter was very fussy and difficult to fall asleep, but Gen was so patient and did not seem frustrated at all. This made me less anxious about the time and whole session all together. I brought some outfits, and she also had a variety of outfits, bows and swaddles for my baby! She did such an excellent Job with my baby in handling her.
