Mike is awesome! His enthusiasm for teaching shows. He is a great photographer and mentor. I…read moreconsider him one of the best of the best. He's very patient and doesn't have any issues with explaining something over and over. That is for knuckle heads like me. I consider myself an intermediate creative, but there is always something to learn. I don't think I'll ever finish learning about photography . Mike will open your eyes to some of the techniques that are deemed difficult. He teaches how to use gels, integrate lighting into the image, how to set your camera and why. He has over 30 years in the business. He has the beautiful albums and websites to prove it. If you are serious about getting into the business of wedding photography . Mike is your man. If you are a bride looking for one of the best. Give Mike a call.

The experience was exceptionally educational. We spent three hours at Barrington Hall in Roswell. The first hour was a powerpoint preso explaining various camera settings all about getting the right light and metering the a shot. The next two hours were spent with models in various poses in settings on property. With explanation and hands on assistance throughout the shoot. I have to experiment with the my take-aways from this workshop before I sign up for the next one, but feel confident that I would want to work with Mike and his team again.

The Art Center is truly a hidden gem for creativity and learning in our community. Whether you're a…read morechild exploring art for the first time or an adult looking to refine your skills, there's something here for everyone. I originally stopped by in search of pottery classes--and was delighted to find not only that they offer them, but also that a new session begins on October 13th. In addition, there's a Fall Break Art Camp for grades 2-5, where children will experiment with a range of media including watercolor, acrylics, and collage. As I walked through the space, I was able to watch artists at work and enjoy the current gallery exhibits on display. The atmosphere was inspiring and welcoming. Adult fall classes--running October 6th through December 13th--are also available, covering both visual and ceramic arts. Each class is taught by individual instructors, making it approachable for students of all levels. Best of all, online registration makes it simple to sign up. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that such a wonderful resource has been right in my neighborhood all along. It was a great experience, and I've already registered for pottery classes--something I'm really excited about! If you're looking for a place to explore your creative side, I highly recommend checking out the Art Center. Great value for 8 weeks art class at $280

Many of the students are planning to go back for the same week next summer. He learned how to make his own pieces and glaze them. I highly suggest checking this place out.
