We had fabulous service from Jen who took great care of us. I've had pizza from here before and it's always delicious. We branches out and tried a salad which was excellent. The room was pretty busy but it never got loud and it was a cool place to eat. Totally recommend visiting here! read more

We ordered pizza, 2 medium pizzas, and were told it would be ready in 25-30 mins. The store now store closes in 12 mins, ordered over 50 mins ago. When I showed up, the cashier told me just another 10 mins. Been sitting in the parking lot watching other cars/delivery drivers leave, and it's been 25 mins sitting in the parking lot I think I remember why I haven't eaten here in about 2 years I'll let you know the quality when /if I ever get our order. read more

Every Friday we do Pizza and/or wings from Pie Guys Linwell/Vine Spending probably $100 Every week easily. Probably wont anymore from the horrible service I got last night. I always order early for pick up at a later time so I ordered at 4pm and pickup at 630pm. Plenty of time for my order and even usually when I arrive I still have to wait 5-10 mins which is usually not an issue as it gets busy. This time we did 5lbs of wings, pizza and skins. I get home and notice I only have 3lbs so I give them a call. I told them the problem about the missing 2lbs and the employee on the phone said they could cook the 2lbs without issue and deliver them to my house. Which is fine, however, it would be another 30 mins. It is 7pm now. So I asked to come pick them up as it would be quicker and my family could eat without half our food missing. I then asked if it was possible to et a credit for only 1lb, not 2, of the wings for the mistake and inconvenience. I was not asking for the money back just a credit to my account that I could use next week. They are not loosing the any money. But employee said it was impossible because they offered to have it delivered to my house and cook the 2lbs THAT I paid for and they did not give me. So I asked to speak with the supervisor and she told me they can only credit the 2lbs to my account and not cook them or cook them and delivery them at a 30 min time frame. So basically it was go without half my meal and have a credit on my account that I will never use after this or get my 2lbs and pick them up myself without care from the restaurant on their MISTAKE. Called ahead of time to confirm pickup. Multiple times confirmed time. Went to get pizza and it wasn't ready. The person who took my order wrote down the wrong time. The person checking me out only cared to tell me SHE didn't take the order. I really don't care who took the order a "sorry" would have been nice. Not once was it said at all. I have always wanted to stop in at The Pie Guys Pizzeria and give them a try. Today I decided to stop and see if they were open and grab a couple slices for lunch. I just looked over the choices available and settled on the Mediterranean slice. Sounds good I'll have two slices. After a short wait as they warmed up the slices, I received them they were packaged. I left at that point and proceeded to take out a slice to eat. It was it this time I discovered that there were tomatoes on the slices. Had I known that there were tomatoes on that selection I would not have ordered them. Never the less the pieces were cooked well and very tasty. I would recommend this pizza to anyone looking for a change. I also noticed on the outside of the building that they have a number of specials available. Good food is worth the wait. Absolutely amazing pizza, wings, and subs. I like a good pizza, and I'm not opposed to driving out of the city to get the right pizza when I really want it. Imagine my surprise when I learned that the best pizza in the city is a couple blocks from my house. When you call for an order, you are looking at 45-minutes for your pizza to be ready, but trust me, this is the right pizza. And it's more than worth the wait. The place is super clean, and the staff is really nice. The front doors always swinging open for all the clients coming in and out. Sit down for 20 minutes and you will be amazed at the amount of traffic this place gets. Try it out. At least once, You will be hooked. This is my go to for pizza and wings now. This place is a great neighbourhood treasure. Great pizza, we got the Godfather. Twice so far. Went back the next day for the lunch special. The meatball and BLT sandwiches were delicious, ingredients top notch and such great value. The bun was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, lots of crispy bacon on the BLT. We upgraded to the Caesar salad for $2. It was really good! Lots of shaved Parmesan. They also had $5 Caesars that was popular with the other guests. We tried the buffalo wings which were also great. There is a great outdoor patio with some fire warmers and lush flower baskets. The best part is the warmth and friendliness of the staff. Not to be missed. read more

Top notch pizza and wings. They are unfortunately very pricey compared to others. Their service is not good at all when you call in. Seems as though they're not interested in repeat customers. Unfortunately they also take quite a long time. Often it's one hour/an hour and a half for delivery. The food doesn't make it worth it for the rude staff. read more

I live in Niagara-on-the-Lake and will go out of my way as often as I can to eat here. Whether it's ordering a pizza and wings, a sub, or just stopping by for a slice - I'm never disappointed. I recommend trying a slice of something you don't usually enjoy because they'll probably make it your new fav. I wasn't that fond of Hawaiian but I saw someone else get a slice and I just had to go for it. I crave it now. Just talking about it makes me want. read more

Tried this place when it first opened as we live close and the other local new pizza place is well let's say, not great. Never order anywhere else now! Amazing pizza, wings, subs and just tried the poutine the other day and it was amazing too!! Real cheese curds and great gravy with fresh cut crispy fries and we even got it to go! Toppings are always fresh and they have never let us down. Can't say anything bad about this place! Give it a try and you won't be disappointed. read more

Tried it again after a year away. Take out pizza and wings. They got the order wrong. Pizza was chewy, terrible crust. Cheese wasn't even cooked. Asked for a pound of hot wings, all flats, didn't get that right (got 5 drums and 4 flats) Ordered hot, got some BBQ tasting mild wings. Over 20 bucks for a 4 slice and 9 wings, not great. So, I worked at Pie Guys on Linwell Road in St.Catharines. I quit because I had 2 better offers. It's a high turn over type of business to begin with, $11 something an hour, hard work (for some, for others not so much). So, we get "tipped out". Instead of getting our tips, our boss keeps them and gives it to us every couple months all at once depending on our hours. We should have had our tips already before I quit but because of time off, vacations...it was late. I go get my last cheque and tip outs to find that my boss has kept my tips that I already earned before I quit. Not that that should matter as I had already earned them, he just kept them warm in his pocket. It goes buy hours so, approximately $230. It's what I got last time roughly. He said I forfeited them when I quit. NO I DID NOT! AND, I ALREADY earned them, they were and are my tips, not my bosses, not anyone elses but mine. We've been ordering from this place since they opened and it used to be good. Lately it's hit and miss today we bought a works pizza and 1 lb of wings and an 8 slice with 3 toppings. The bill was $62. The Works pizza was soggy and it tasted like nothing. There was no flavour. The wings were tiny, overcooked to the point that we thought we were going to chip our teeth and the 8 slice was soggy as well although did have a little flavour. When I called the store, the owners' wife told me they sent 183 pizzas out and I was the only one that complained. I explained to her most people don't complain they just won't use your services again and she proceeded to scoff at me and speak over me. I told her there were 5 adults in the house and only 6 slices of a 24 slice pizza had been eaten so that was a pretty good indication there was a problem with the pizza and wings. She just kept arguing. Terrible experience, terrible pizza now, terrible wings now and their customer service is non-existent. Don't waste your time or money.
