The best Quiche and Apple Pie which I've ever had were at The Pie Lady Cafe! The owner bakes them herself each day, just like family! Speaking of family, whenever you're having company, get some quiche or pies to go! Frankly, I keep quiche in my refrigerator for a quick meal to go. It's easy to eat on the run. The guests are so friendly there too, so it's a wonderful place to stop and grab a bite to go, or to stay, relax and enjoy talking to others, or just eating while reading. I've been here over and over. The pies, scones, and other bakery items are by far the best in the area. Coffee is middling so I get a cappucino and am not disappointed. Food is ok but I don't usually come here for lunch. When the weather is good all I want to do is go here so I can sit on the porch with a piece of pecan pie. My only real complaint is that when I have a craving for pie on a Tuesday afternoon they aren't open! read more

Been wondering about this place for a while ordered a vegan wrap even though I am not a vegan. Plenty of stuff in side the wrap that was fresh and delicious with balsamic vinaigrette to mesh with the veggies it was perfect. Also ordered a chicken salad sandwich which included apples and grapes on some type of fruity nutty bread? Out of this world but really not my think, I might have to put the nut and fruit thing up for review as the sandwich tasted great. We finally hit the Pie Lady Cafe on a day the we're open on Thursday. Went on a Wednesday about two weeks ago not realizing that they are open only Thursday thru Sunday. We arrived around 10am and the place was jumping. Our waiter Brendan seated us outside on the porch which was ideal in such a beautiful day. Brendan was very attentive and friendly. We ordered the fresh squeezed orange juice and their blueberry-lemon scone and my wife ordered their daily special which was stuffed French toast. She loved it and ended up taking half of it home. I ordered a breakfast sandwich which was pork roll, cheese, two fried eggs on a brioche roll. Also, I added a side of their fried potatoes. My meal was excellent and I too ended asking for a box to take half home. The pace of our meal was very relaxing as there was no rush to get our table set for a turnover. Final verdict is that I highly recommend that you try the Pie Lady Cafe and that we will most definitely return. Next time I want to try a piece of their pies. read more

The worlds best scones! Pies are amazing too of course! I love their spinach and feta quiche with a cup of coffee.

The lemon blueberry scones are THE BEST! Their quiches are great too and we always get for our Easter festivities. We rarely eat in as the service is a bit slow BUT that is largely due to some economic circumstances. The only disappointment is their schedule ... This place was all around great and I will definitely be going back. The food, coffee, and staff were all amazing. We went on a Sunday for brunch. We got two lattes and they were perfect. They were not burnt or overly sweet. For our meals, we got the banana french toast and the red eye. Both were delicious. After we ate the owner brought us out a piece of crumb cake to try on the house. It was served hot and melted in your mouth. After trying the cake I needed to try some of their other baked good so we walked over to their bakery. We got two scones and they were equally as good. Even though they don't take reservations, Pie Lady was able to handle a 10 person birthday breakfast on a very busy Sunday. Waitress Sarah was attentive, friendly and spot on with her service. I love pie! My kid (you know how the blogs say the way to bond with a kid is to carve out time and make memories) looks forward to eating pie there. The kid thinks that the Apple crumb is the best. Been wanting to try this place out, and I finally got the chance on a weekend. It was very busy, but we were able to snag a table for two. Food was really good- I got the veggie skillet and it was a big portion. I had to take it home for leftovers and eat it as breakfast the next day. Prices are decent, and their scones are HEAVENLY. Lots of alternative milk options including soy, almond, coconut milk, and oat milk. Not great for large groups but perfect for a couple people, especially sitting on the porch during warmer weather. Pie Lady Cafe is an adorable little pie shop in the quaint and adorable main street in downtown Moorestown, New Jersey. My husband and I stopped in on a lovely Saturday last summer (August 2016) before we made our way down to the Jersey shore for the weekend. We both ordered a slice of their apple pie and it was heavenly! The pie was perfectly sweet, fresh, and melt-in-your mouth amazing! We also ordered a whole blueberry pie (my favorite) to go to share with our family down at the shore. The blueberry pie was also delicious and was a big hit with the family. Service at the Pie Lady Cafe is fantastic. The ladies working there were very friendly and sweet. They have some seating at the cafe, which was much appreciated, since we dined in to enjoy our apple pie while it was super fresh. The decor is so quaint, old-timey, and cute! I would LOVE to visit again in the future whenever I'm in Moorestown, NJ! read more

I live in NYC and can't find quality like this anywhere! This has been on our "must try" list and we finally got there this morning. We waited 20 minutes to be seated. Drinks arrived quickly and we ordered our meals within 5 minutes. And we waited. And we waited. And we waited. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive, but there was no food surfacing. We finally asked how much longer (40 minutes in) and were told it was going to be soon. It was explained that the person fills both restaurant and take out orders at the same time. I asked if it was always this slow and our waitress replied, "always." I was finally served my salad which looked great but taste wise, was underwhelming. There just was no flavor - chipotle chicken. I expected a little kick. It was extremely bland. I dosed it with salt and pepper and ate a little, but it was not palatable. So disappointing. 45 minutes to wait for a salad with no flavor. This is a very very very small boutique pastry/pie shop. The pies and scones are delicious. The scones are probably the best I've had in a long time. My favorite is the lemon blueberry scone; highly recommend. Street parking only and it is usually not difficult to get a parking spot.
