Ed and I visited Piedmont in January, 2014 after leaving the church we were attending. We came because several of our friends were already at Piedmont. Ed listened to Ike's first sermon on heaven and asked if we could come back the next week. When the series on heaven was over he asked if we could stay. I was thrilled because I wanted to stay. We joined in April of that year, and Ed was baptized on Father's Day. He never would submit to church membership at the other church. Now he comes even when I can't. We are very happy. I have gotten involved with the Hospitality Team and usually pass out bulletins every Sunday. I have also attended several ladies' Bible studies and have joined a SS class. Ed is not about all that, but he comes every Sunday we are in town. We both are pleased with the outreach in the community, and we participate in Love Does every month. I have worked several football games and a couple of Egg Drops. We knew Marlon before we came and have just come to love him even more. Dr. Ike is a tremendous preacher/teacher and we look forward to his sermons each week. I met Alex and Ashley of A&A Wellness and started working with them in January. We are so very happy to be a part of this great church. I think we had been looking for a church like this for a long time. I work at a sister church in the Noonday Association and am disappointed to say they don't get out in the community like Piedmont does. I don't think we will be going anywhere anytime soon. read more

​ My wife and I were introduced to Piedmont Church by our best friends two or three years ago. They new we had been looking for a church home and had not found one that suited us. We attended a few of the holiday services and were pleased with what we experienced. A year and half ago we made the decision to join Piedmont. It has been one of the best decisions we have ever made. Ike Reighard is a fantastic preacher. he has a teaching style that always sends me home thinking about what he had to say and feeling better than I did when I went in. Our Sunday School class is wonderful. The leaders are men of God who can share the Word at an everyday level. The class members have become family to us. I like to be involved so I have served in a couple of areas with the staff. I have to say that the staff and the volunteers on the two teams I have served with have been welcoming and very good at what they do. one other thing that has impressed me very much is the amount of work this church does for the community. It is quite unbelievable. Marlon Longacre is incredible in his dedication to our community. Pastor Ike teaches the Bible as truth, love, and as a guide for daily living in such a way that anyone can understand. I enjoy our Piedmont family, especially our Sunday morning study group, and would encourage those not attending one of these groups to join us for a trial period and then see how our studies connect with the sermons taught from the pulpit. I stand amazed at the growth Piedmont has experienced over the last 10 years and believe that God has blessed us because of the dedication of our leadership and also the faithfulness of our membership (I believe it takes both). My goal each day is to focus on those things God enables me to do and I am pleased to say that my Sunday worship experience has helped me remain focused. I am truly thankful for Piedmont Church and the friends I have made over the years. These friends are my family now and we give encouragement to each other on a daily basis. Nowhere, absolutely nowwhere in Scripture, does it teach that Christ as your Savior leads to an extraordinary life, an extraordinary purpose perhaps, but not an extraordinary life. You mean the extraordinary life that Christ, a poor, homeless, itinerant preacher who suffered one of the most excruciating deaths imaginable. You mean the extraordinary life the Apostles had, all tortued, and eventually murdered. John the Apostle, yeah, being boiled in oil and left to die on an island at 80 years of age, how extraordinary of a life he led. Or, let's take the greatest man ever born of woman, John Baptist, you mean the extraordinary life he had, living in a desert, being wrongfully imprisoned for telling the truth, and then beheaded around 30, 31 years of age, oh, you must mean that extraordinary life. Ike's a two-faced serial lying hypocrite, like his best good friend Pat Flood, and heretict, and an apostate, and a charlatan. And he'll never say anything back, like the coward he is. My wife and I moved down to Marietta a couple years ago from the Northern part of the US and finding a church in our new community was critical to us. Piedmont was the second church that we tried in the area (and there are hundreds of options!) and we found home. Two and half years later and we're still passionate about being part of the Piedmont family. Both my wife and I have become part of small men and women's groups for Bible study and fellowship. Piedmont's welcoming culture and atmosphere has not only created a spiritual home for us, but we've made countless friends here too. We love the worship here too! The worship team is fantastic and the atmosphere created by the technical teams are perfect. As if all those things weren't enough to make us fall in love, Piedmont also offers day care during church services and during the week too (which is great for our 2 year old) and the facilities are excellent. Piedmont church is the home we never knew we needed. My wife and I have been attending for 7 years now and cannot see a future without Piedmont in our lives. The first time we visited Piedmont, starting at the parking lot we were welcomed by numerous volunteers all the way to our seats. I could not believe how beautiful and inviting the sanctuary was, utilizing wood and stone to create a very relaxing environment. As a product of the 80s, the contemporary style of worship is definitely a plus for me. Piedmont is larger that most churches but far from being a "Mega" church. Dr. Ike Reighard has become not only our pastor, but also a close friend. Despite the fact that he is the Senior Pastor of a large church, President and CEO of MUST Ministries, serves on the Board of Directors of Liberty University along with countless other commitments he always has time for his congregation. read more

We love everything about our church. The preacher is amazing! He has a genuine heart for Christ. He is transparent & does not get in the pulpit as a "holier than thou" type. The sermons always relate to my life. Love that there is live streaming so on mornings where me or my child is sick we can still watch from home & also if we go out of town. Love the way that our church is community focused. We love the community. We do monthly love does projects that help our community. The Lord tells us to help those less fortunate than us & to love all. That is what we do at Piedmont. In the children's ministry they are engaging our children to think and grow as Christ loving children. The music is always awesome. We moved out further over a year ago & decided we would continue to travel as we just love this church too much to even think about leaving. read more

I LOVE this church. My wife and I first visited Piedmont Church after we got married and moved to the area. We knew immediately that this was the place for us. There are so many things we love about this church. The pastoral team led by Ike is awesome and each Sunday you are guaranteed to walk away inspired and energized. The staff is excellent at plugging you in with people who can help you on your faith journey. My favorite aspect of this church though is its community involvement. Every day Marlon and his team reach out and serve people in our neighborhood. Whether it is cooking hot dogs at high school football games so that families can enjoy the game or providing meals to needy families for Thanksgiving, Piedmont actively shows God's love. We came to Piedmont after visiting several churches in the area and I never felt more welcome than I did at Piedmont. The people here aren't just friendly, they want to connect with you on a personal level and have truly become a second family for us. I'm not one to seek out a small group to join, but after connecting with a couple one Sunday after the service, we joined a small group that has given us an incredible group of people to share life with. Between that atmosphere and the genuine heart of service that you will witness from the entire staff we wouldn't call any other place home. This church is nothing but amazing, if I could give it 10 stars I would. After many years of visiting other churches in the area we found a home at Piedmont. This church offered us hope in our darkest hour. The church opens it's doors to everyone and is genuinely concerned about the person and the community. Piedmont Church is an amazing church. It has been a great place for my wife and I to grow spiritually and raise our kids. The worship service is powerful with wonderful worship music and fantastic preaching. The Sunday School and small groups have also been very instrumental in our spiritual growth. There is just something about this Church... When you walk in the door, it just feels like coming home. The people are friendly, the music is AMAZING and the teaching is both Biblically correct and relevant to today's world. I love absolutely everything about this Church and it's Mission to turn everyday living into an Extraordinary Life through the transforming Power of Jesus Christ!
